Pisces represents, on the level of the first octave, the period between 28 weeks after Conception till Birth, when after the electrick nervous system of the fetus switches on (Aquarius), we become psychically tuned to the entity later to be known as Mother. Today we get more of the same wonderful energy of abundance and fertility as Moon in Pisces trines Venus. A square to Mars at midday generates a little static if we push too hard. Relax, surrender, keep moving, and events will flow more easily.is a day for stumbling across lawns with a pitchfork in your back. Nevertheless, you may wish to take advantage of a claustrophilic Scorpio colleague’s invitation to lunch. Avoid decorative rugs at all costs, if you know what’s good for you.

Wednesday July 20
A Moon trine to the Sun lifts us into the ethers before dawn to fuel our day. This opens the Moon’s void period at 4:15 am, which can be ignored—allow your efforts to flow full speed ahead! At 4:44 in the morning: you won't see a cop or a raccoon; you can pee in full phantasmagoria under the stars in the night with the wind high and salty and the dome of the sky in full splay sprayed and contusioned upon the black upon the twisted wicked love of the cypress in decline. Someday I'd like to stop three feet from the top of Everest. "Fuck it, I'm not going a single inch further." I'd say and turn around. At 9:25 am, the Moon enters bold Aries, giving us another encounter with Uranus to ensure we are doing what is inwardly correct—not necessarily the same thing as what others want us to do. The Moon continues in Aries and brings us to a moment of reckoning through an opposition to Saturn. Know your limits—say no if necessary. The Moon is in Aries, all headstrong and full of piss and vinegar. Aries represents the period from birth to seven months old, when as new borns, we experience everything as an extension of ourselves. Virtually all energy is devoted to having our needs met. On the World scale, Aries is between 48,000 BC and 26,000 BC, when the primitive Neanderthals were trounced upon by Cro-magnons. They were virtually identical to modern Homo Sapiens, yet anthropologists do not know from whence they came. The Aries Moon can be so enthused with it's own adventure that it might seem a little arrogant. Don't take it personally. The focus is on action, not reaction. Sobbing and laughing from the fjord to the poorhouse, the tattooed infant teethes, balancing maliciously over the sea in the jejune elephantine dawn.

With Mars, Venus, and Mercury at the end of their respective sign, the Moon finds plenty to keep us busy today integrating lessons recently learned. This energy is driven inward as the Moon goes void of course at 2:34 pm PT. This gives us an afternoon to take care of the filing, before the Moon enters stabilizing Taurus at 9:58 pm. At 9:12 pm, the Sun enters lively Leo, the sign of its rulership, just before the Moon completes the Last Quarter square to it at 08°02′ Taurus/10:12 pm. Tactically, we are the proverbial dodo feather stuck between the crocodile’s teeth. with the Sun in Leo some may shave Celtic crosses on the rumps of consenting pooches and airbrush infrared barcodes on the haunches of catnip-tripping felines, but most won’t. Leo represents the period of when as children we begin primary school, which is the first detachment from the family structure, where we learn to make relationships and satisfy the need to be loved in the world. Games provide a way to relate to others and they teach us to accept and make rules, the basis for being able to structure our lives (from 7 to 13 years old). On the World Scale, Leo is between 3,000 to 800 BC when both the Egyptian and Sumerian civilizations flourished, when religion became monotheistic, where one being represented or was, God on Earth. With the Sun in Leo we may be seeking romance with a flare for the dramatic..Don’t let an insecure ego run rampant trying to overcompensate for what you think you don’t have. Becoming familiar with ourselves, knowing and respecting who we are assists us in truly experiencing deep intimacy (or closeness) with another who is also willing to share who they truly are. The Day of the Sun in Assiah. The Metaversal Lightpilot, which the ancient Egyptians referred to as the KA, is actually the fourth dimensional driver of the third dimensional Lightcraft, the BA. Thursday July 14
The Moon in Capricorn brings us to the peak of intensity known as the Full Moon, at 22°28' Capricorn/11:40 pm. This opens the Moon’s brief void period, but before that a deep awakening process occurs that is focused on our relationship life, a moment of truth. Capricorn represents, on the level of the first octave, the period between 7 weeks until 12 weeks after Conception, when the embryo becomes a fetus, and the sex and physical appearance are determined. The body takes form through it's skeletal system. On the level of the fourth octave (see Chapter 9 of the Metaversal Lightcraft Training Manual for more on the Four Octaves), Capricorn represents the integration and structuring of the higher perceptions of the Self in the World on a practical level. On the World scale, Capricorn occupies the period between AD 1750 and AD 1840. This was the time when the ideology of Sagittarius was translated into material form. Humanity evinced a superiority over the forces of nature, and the Industrial revolution began. Romanticism surrounded the likes of Shelley, Goethe, Byron, and Chopin, reacting to the cold prevailing mechanistic World view. Rudolph Steiner said that the human being is created, and destined to be, a self-defining creature. Are we slightly higher than monkeys or slightly lower than angels? Good old fashion hard work yields the answer. Monkeys and Angels are set to grind corn with the Full Moon in Capricorn. Tackle those long term projects and remember, the Mountain must be tackled one step at a time. The fun part is knowing that this nice little braid cascade of planetary wave donuts gets its pressure nested to fold all inside out through one slip knot to ... elsewhere because not only is the Moon in Capricorn giving us all the stable gravity of magnetism permitted by fractal symmetry to go BETWEEN frequencies in a cascade, but this magnetism is also actually the WIND ON WHICH LOVE TRAVELS. Mercury enters its retrograde shadow today, now marking off the degrees over which it will re-transit during August. Observe your experiences from today forward until it retrogrades on August 2, in order to get clues as to what’s heading your way. The chart cast for Washington DC has no critical signatures emphasized. Whatever weather pattern we’ve been in for the past week will continue, tending toward hot dry winds in the east. When the Moon enters independent Aquarius today, we get to travel to the beat of a different drummer, especially as it sextiles individualistic Uranus. Go ahead, be a rebel!Aquarius represents, on the level of the first octave, the period between 12 weeks to 28 weeks after Conception, when the electrick nervous system of the fetus switches on. On the level of the fourth octave (see Chapter 9 of the Metaversal Lightcraft Training Manual for more on the Four Octaves), Aquarius represents the higher Self projecting itself to the world tribe, through media, groups, circles of friends (your Tribe) and utopian aims and idealistic pursuits alter the prevailing social systems. On the World scale, Aquarius occupies the period between AD 1840 and 1910. This was the time when the established dominance of the material world in Capricorn quickly required more sophisticated planning, spurred by Schopenhauer, ideas and beliefs from the east began flooding the West through such diverse channels as the Theosophical Society, the Golden Dawn, and the operas of Wagner. This was the time of Crowley, Nietzsce, and the early works of Freud. With the Moon in Aquarius we have the ability to combine East and West, Light and Dark, Sun and Moon. This is where we are compelled to reach out to others and network. If you’ve elected to forego swallowing the gravity pill, you can take part in the holographic cherub hunt – but mind you don’t bruise your fellow prisoners! At this point a viscous orange liquid (it doesn’t stain) will likely be pumped into the atmosherep, pint by pint, until it’s all gone. Take as many pictures as you like. It’s time to ramp up your productivity as Aquarius Moon squares Jupiter and makes a grand trine in Air with Mars and Saturn. Social events, anything that involves connections, will go smoothly today.I hope this isn't an ackward time to mention that the structural basis for all Light-specific work in the Metaverse is regular, disciplined connection to the No-Form, meditation, contemplation, what ever you want to call it, as long as it's deep. Supremely solitary in that heath of scrub. The Light-Specific state initiates itself with SOLITUDE, the gratifying element of being alone (if only for 20 minutes a day)... without which, true development is impossible. The point is to connect to your inner source of stability, the state of potentia, the No-Form, at least once a day. No-Form is not a goal or state of "spiritual arrival" (as some religions would have us believe), it is a highly practical, multi-purpose tool for dissolving our identification with the ego. If you want to play with us, this is the only rule. The foundation of our Lightcraft is built in Chaos, so you must maintain a firm foundation, or Chaos your life will be. Some of us need this connection four times a day (sunrise, true noon, sunset, true midnight). Some of us actually manage to do it four times a day. It is a choice you must make. I would do it for you if I could. Once a day is all that's required to maintain the Continuity function. Future generations of yourself will be glad this came to pass. The Day of Mercury in the kabbalistic World of Fire, Atziluth. Visualize your self wearing sneakers with wings as you read this. Mercury's function is to think. To know. To reason. There is no foot race to win here. Language is his playground. The Akasic Library is his home. And oh yes, Hermes is a Love god. He likes the sound of his own voice. Write a poem, a sonnet, or some erotica today. The Moon is void of course in Virgo until 8:54 pm, when it enters Libra. This gives us plenty of down time and a lingering feeling of happiness even if everything isn’t perfect. It could be worse! Mars trines Saturn to bring out our desire to make progress, to get things done. We want to check things off the list, make the connections to reach our goals, but we’re better off planning today and executing tomorrow (or at least after 8:54 pm). The Day of Jupiter in the kabbalistic World of Fire . Projecting Light Specific Blue and facing West, vibrate this azure deluxe into your Second Chakra along with the mantrum: EE-BE-DA. Jupiter is all about allowing ambiguity, contradiction, and movement. It isn't about integration. It helps the ego become more flexible. By Jove, life isn't about staying calm and balanced, but rather about keeping complexity and drama and everything else alive and in dynamic flow. There is a whole division of the Angelic Hierarchy assigned to the sephiroth Chesed (Jupiter) whose purpose is divine inspiration through laughter. And there is no vision more critical in the career of the adept than the Metaversal Joke. Did you here the one about the twin child, the male-female Holy Spirit of the Gnostic Mass, the living fruit of two sexual partners. The Book of Lies teaches that seed and child and parent are mystically one, and that the seed represents the innermost and highest expression of the parent. In the Star Sapphire, a ritual form of the IX, the invocation brings father, mother, son, and daughter (YHVH, above) into one point of mystic union, referred to as Ararita. This daughter-son, the living elixir, is made a sacrifice to the magical goal of the working. Note that it is not metaphorically alive, but literally alive, containing a great quantity of living cells. Thus, for the male magician, it is the sacrifice of "all that he is and all that he has" into the "Cup of Babalon", which is held by the Scarlet Woman of Babylon and in which the blood of the saints is said to be mingled. The inner incubation time is important and knowing when to intuitively act is a part of the process. Even projects already in motion may benefit from releasing attachments to specific pictures or outcomes and allowing for the possibility of even greater expression to unfold. Since June 4, a flow of energy has been intensifying from the unconscious realms into the physical world, as Jupiter reaches toward a trine to Pluto at 5°58′ Taurus/Capricorn. This is a stabilizing influence, in Earth signs, especially beneficial for Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn; providing essential support for the water signs as well (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces). This is the first of three such connections by which we will benefit through March 2012. This is a connection of abundance and prosperity. This infuses the First Quarter lunation today, which comes at 15°47′ Libra/11:29 pm, the last aspect of the Moon before its void period. Over the day, the Moon makes all the cardinal connections, reaching Venus, Uranus, Pluto, Saturn, and Sun to activate the Cardinal Cross—and our need for change. Venus also squares Uranus, highlighting the ways in which we have not yet copped to what or who we love. It may not be our only choice, but the feelings won’t go away until we reckon with them. In the First Quarter chart cast for the US capital, we see hidden economic support coming to the US, stabilizing if it is not just a bandage approach. Inexplicably, wisdom emerges and a good choice is made, as the truth is heard and sinks in. Although the focus is on the economy, the media play a huge role in how it is perceived so are the most significant influence of the week. The critical mass in the situation comes from America’s working people, who have been squeezed and increasingly disregarded. Now they are standing up for themselves and will get results.The Moon at 16 Libra carries the Sabian Symbol of, “The storms of the winter have washed away the boat-landing: Some happy souls at the beach resort are building one.” (ME Jones) We are in a rebuilding process after a storm of consciousness. It has brought about a crisis in what we value, and shows us how to rebuild in light of our discoveries.

The Day of Venus in Fireweek. If you actively invoke blessed HANIEL, the Archangel of Venus into your heart today, you may find you have developed the ability to feel like Khrisna, multiplying himself into a dozen fractal pastoral, naked farmhands with muddy feet and emerald pond scum on their thighs, or maybe you are a young Freya on the back of a panther, eating honey. Venus finishes connecting the big dots today with her opposition to Pluto. This ties into previous contacts between Venus and Pluto in February and April, bringing us to full awareness of what has been surfacing all this time. It also gives us insight into what the next year is bringing to us, as we get another perspective on the upcoming Uranus-Pluto square. She gives us a supportive two-fer as she also sextiles Jupiter to augment our constructive use of these powerful energies of manifestation. Friends and partners will be there for us now. The Saturn Hours which we have been coordinating our Saturn meditations around are based on the use of Planetary Hours..The Planetary Hours are based on an ancient astrological system, the Chaldean order of the planets. This is the sequence: Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Venus, Mercury, Moon, then repeating endlessly Saturn, Jupiter, etc. The Chaldean order indicates the relative orbital velocity of the planets. From a heliocentric perspective this sequence also indicates the relative distance of the planets from the center of their orbits, i.e., the distance of the planets from the Sun (with the Sun switching places with the Earth in the sequence) and the distance of the Moon from the Earth. From a traditional geocentric perspective the Chaldean order also shows the arrangement of the planetary spheres.

The planetary hours use the Chaldean order to divide time. Each planetary hour of the planetary day is ruled by a different planet. The planet that rules the first hour of the day is also the ruler of the whole day and gives the day its name. Thus the first hour of Sunday is ruled by the Sun, the first hour of Monday is ruled by the Moon and so on.

However, planetary hours are not the same as the sixty-minute hours that we use for normal time-keeping. The day is split into two periods, daytime and nighttime. Sunrise to sunset is considered daytime. Sunset to sunrise of the next day is nighttime. Then these two periods are each divided into twelve equal length hours, which are the planetary hours. The planetary hours of the day and the planetary hours of the night will be of different lengths except on the Equinoxes, when light and darkness are balanced.

Each planetary hour is associated with a planet. These can be used to fine-tune a magickal working. This is one step up from performing magick on the day ruled by the planet best suited for the goal. This will give you a specific hour to work the magick.

So say you're planning to do a money spell. Money and prosperity is ruled by Jupiter, so you'd want to do it on a Thursday. But to make the spell more precise and give it more "weight", you can calculate the planetary hours for the upcoming Thursday. Four planetary hours are ruled by Jupiter (two of day, two of night), so once the exact times are figured out, you have your pick of those hours in which to perform that money spell.Planetary hours are also good for when you can't wait till the appropriate day. If you needed that money, like, yesterday, and today is Saturday, do the spell today but aid it along by doing it during one of the Jupiter hours. These can also aid you when other things may be working "against" you, or if you're sick but still have to work some magick anyway


BODY ALCHEMY
As we have seen, the symbolism of the Muladhara Chakra alone is extremely complex - I have only touched on some of the basic elements of it. What I would like now to do is present some ideas for working with the Muladhara Chakra magically.Only then will the provisional gods you’ve held behind plexiglas step forth with new recipes for meringue soufflé, and heaven knows what other wonders.


Firstly, there is the matter of Paying Attention to the Body.
Relaxation Exercises, breathing techniques, calm meditation, simple yoga asanas, T’ai Chi - all are useful for stilling the mind, loosing oneself from external distractions and learning to be aware of our immediate physical presence from one moment to the next.The monkeys saw this coming and stayed in the trees, but now they descend to raze our mini-golf shrines and cut loose our pets from their leashes

Secondly, there is the matter of Earthly Wisdom
Ganesha can be understood as the ‘Guardian of the Threshold’ of the Chakra. As such, he can be invoked as the Guru of the Biogram.

Pete Carroll, in an early edition of Liber Null, described the Biogram as:
"....the instruction manual for the human body. Few people
trouble to consult it. It says simply that my body and everyone else's
body needs freedom from danger, food, shelter, warmth, sex and
transcendance. Transcendance, the urge to union with something greater
is variously satisfied by seeking love in a partner or in humanitarian
action or by seeking truth and knowledge in mysticism, magic, science
or the arts. Our whole culture is shot through with logograms which, by exageration
and perversion, nullify the biogram. In order to liberate himself the magician must first feel his way back to the biogram for it is that which is more wise and trustworthy than all the sages. There is more wisdom in one's body than the average
library." Tear down the pyramids and let whales dine on the mummies of kings! Everything must go.

Thirdly, there is the matter of the Senses
Learning to make effective use of one’s senses is a primary requisite for magical development. The Muladhara Chakra is concerned with Earth - with our immediate physical surroundings. Just as paying attention to body sensations is important, so too is paying attention to our external environment through smell, touch, taste, hearing, sight.

Fourth, there is the matter of the Shakti of the Chakra.
Meditate upon the Red Dakini who is the Shakti of the Muladhara. Visualise her as separate to yourself. Place her within your heart. Seek union with her in whatsoever manner you choose.
The Red Dakini is the Queen, or in another sense, the ‘doorkeeper’ of this chakra - the presiding deity of this region or zone. By meditating on her, as part of Yoga practice, one acquires Knowledge of the chakra.
"Meditate on her, the red, the red-eyed Dakini in the Muladhara, who strikes terror into the hearts of the unillumined, who holds in her two right hands the Spear and Skull-staff, and in her two left hands the sword and a drinking-cup filled with wine. She is fierce in temper and shows her fierce teeth. She crushes the whole host of enemies. She is plump of body and fond of rice pudding. It is thus that she be meditated upon by those who desire immortality."]


Fifth, there is the matter of the 3 principles:
To recap, these are Iccha - Will; Jnana - Knowledge; Kriya - Action.
These three are not abstract concepts but shaktis themselves, and in turn, each has their own subsidiary shaktis.
Learn to integrate the action of these shaktis within your own life.

Sixth, there is the matter of Kama - desire.
Work on mastering your desires. This is probably a lifetimes’ work in itself.
Kama is one of the Universal Principles, or Visvadevas. In the Artharva Deva, Lust or Kama is given as the supreme divinity - the impeller of creation. "Lust was born first. Neither gods nor Ancestors nor men can equal him."
Lust is said to be self-born or unborn, springing from the heart of Bramha or from the Primeval Waters. Kama is the presiding deity of the mind. He is pictured as a proud adolescent, riding a parrot. He has two or eight arms. He holds a bow made of sugar-cane, the bowstring being a line of bees; his five arrows are made of five fragrant flowers which inspire lust. On his red banner is the dolphin and he is attended by heavenly dancers, the Asparas (Essences) and celestial musicians, the gandharvas (Fragrances).
Kama is worshipped by Yogis, for he alone, when pleased, can free the mind from desire. It is not pleasure, but desire - attachment that fetters. As the Gopala-uttara-tapini-Upanisad has it: "The sage partakes of sensual pleasures as they occur, with a detached mind, and does not become addicted to desire."


Seventh, there is the Matter of Shiva.
Meditate upon Shiva in his aspect of the Great Yogi or Ascetic - self-contained and untouched by the play of the world.

Eighth, there is the matter of Kundalini-Shakti
Kundalini-Shakti is everywhere. It is not so much a matter of awakening something which lies ‘dormant’, but of becoming aware of her presence in every aspect of creation. Take enjoyment in simple pleasures.

Saturday July 2
At 2:43 pm, the Moon enters sunny Leo, and the day waits to activate our senses until then, with all the aspects waiting to occur until after that time. You ripen at will and I like it. When the Moon conjoins Mercury, head and heart are united in an inspiring and activating way. We slide through transformative feelings and further their activation as the Moon trines Uranus and squares Jupiter. The big event of the day however is the Sun’s square to Saturn, which brings to the front burner all things that stand in the way of our progress. It’s time to face and remove these obstructions. This is the culmination of processes begun last August.

Sunday July 3
With the Moon in Leo as the Sun rises, some may shave Celtic crosses on the rumps of consenting pooches and airbrush infrared barcodes on the haunches of catnip-tripping felines, but most won’t. Leo represents the period of when as children we begin primary school, which is the first detachment from the family structure, where we learn to make relationships and satisfy the need to be loved in the world. Games provide a way to relate to others and they teach us to accept and make rules, the basis for being able to structure our lives (from 7 to 13 years old). On the World Scale, Leo is between 3,000 to 800 BC when both the Egyptian and Sumerian civilizations flourished, when religion became monotheistic, where one being represented or was, God on Earth. During this Time of Pharaohs and Kings, Lion images proliferated in architecture and monuments, for the Lion is of course, King of Beasts. With the Moon in Leo today we may be seeking romance with a flare for the dramatic..Don’t let an insecure ego run rampant trying to overcompensate for what you think you don’t have. It’s easy to turn emotional incidents into high drama. Build emotional security by using your willpower. Be romantic. Love. Revel in the warmest kindest most tender parts of yourself. Moon continues in Leo, generating opportunities for action aimed toward accomplishment as it sextiles Mars and Saturn to create a minor grand trine. There is more mellow energy than fireworks today, despite the holiday theme, as trines and sextiles abound. We’ll emerge from our sleep idealistic and dreamy, inspired and confident, as Venus trines Neptune and Mercury trines Uranus. Add a few extra syllables to every verb you utter today, e.g. enscrubulify, intellarialectualizate, disunstrangulatize. We get a little perspective later as Moon enters Virgo at 6:15 pm, bringing a pragmatic and fertilizing perspective to these connections. We see how we can turn the ideal into the real.
