Perspective: Neptune in Pisces by Jessica Murray

Neptune is the also-ran outer planet. It hasn’t been getting the press that Uranus and Pluto have been getting. But it is stationing in mid-November in the sign of its rulership, Pisces, where it is maximally strong (2011-2025). These weeks of its station provide a window into its power. Neptunian power is all-encompassing but subtle, like the smell of salt water in the air. We feel it buzzing in the collective vibration like an ocean of bees. The shadow side of this placement includes free-floating anxiety, the most debilitating type of fear. It seems to be nowhere and everywhere at once. With no clear sense of where the perceived danger is coming from, we readily displace our fear, projecting it upon imagined perils. Terrorists on every street corner, deadly viruses coming at us from the guy next to us on the bus. Right now, from a background position, Neptune is interacting with the other two outer planets. At their worst, the three augment eachother’s shadow. Neptune washes the atmosphere with a generalized anxiety that jacks up agitation (Uranus) into hysteria, making us perfect subjects for manipulation and control (Pluto). In this scenario the mass mind is dangerously suggestible. Once the herd mentality gains momentum, people get spooked by whomever the authorities identify as an enemy. In our era, the word/concept terrorist (a.k.a. militant/ extremist/ insurgent) has captured the imagination of the herd, as “Communist” did for an earlier generation. Buying into this kind of group-think is terrible for our well-being as individuals. Not only do we lose our moral and spiritual integrity – we hardly remember they exist. How do we avoid being pulled into the chaos swirling around us? We start by understanding what’s happening. Then we work on taking responsibility for our own use of Neptune. Where is it transiting in your chart right now? Locate it, or have an astrologer explain its position. Consider whether the affairs of this particular house have made you susceptible to psychic toxicity..........The rest of this article resides in Metaversal Neptune...... Metaversal Astral Forecasts December 9th through 16th

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 9
The Day of Mars in Airweek and the fiery warrior planet cools off a bit in Aquarius. The rational tendencies of this highly intelligent air sign put the focus on ideas and high ideals, rather than Mars' usual primal passions. The mind is the great battlefield; ideas are the weapons of choice. This is a time when we may be more comfortable fighting for a cause than for ourselves. There's a bit of detachment with Aquarius, which means that Mars' anger may not be easy to trace to its source now. When feelings are strong, look behind them to find the personal reasons for such intensity. Mars has to do with methodology, or the way we get things done. Mars in Aquarius does not like to follow the rules or anyone else's plan. Invention and originality are favored now, so sticking to tradition and custom may be difficult. Before dawn, Moon goes VOC in Cancer, where it’s considered beneficent and where it will remain until 7:14 pm (10:14pm ET) doing business, shopping for and fixing food, uncluttering the home, calling mom and writing poetry. A contact with Venus brings in sensitivity and warmth, making this afternoon and evening great for spending time with kids—to cook together, play and talk about feelings. You might also enjoy a tender movie, nurse the ill, or direct this fertile fusion in creative projects.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 10
The Day of Mercury in Airweek and the Info Guy, has very mixed feelings about being in Sagittarius. Expansive Sagittarius can be overwhelming to detail-oriented
Mercury. Small things are easily blown out of proportion. Facts are out of whack. Tall tales abound. Yet, this is also when the lens of perception is widened and
the mind opens. Mercury in Sagittarius can be a time of enthusiastic words, confident messages and creative communication, but big promises may stretch the truth.
The trick is to drop your prejudices, but not your reason. In the desire to find one big answer to all of life's questions it is easy to overlook nuance and appreciate different points of view. Sagittarius looks toward the future, so that perceptive Mercury's presence here supports visions of tomorrow. The trick is to in all the details so that the picture you're selling is the one that actually develops. VWith the Moon in Leo as the Sun rises, some may shave Celtic crosses on the rumps of consenting pooches and airbrush infrared barcodes on the haunches of catnip-tripping felines, but most won’t. Leo represents the period of when as children we begin primary school, which is the first detachment from the family structure, where we learn to make relationships and satisfy the need to be loved in the Games provide a way to relate to others and they teach us to accept and make rules, the basis for being able to structure our lives (from 7 to 13 years old). On the World Scale, Leo is between 3,000 to 800 BC when both the Egyptian and Sumerian civilizations flourished, when religion became monotheistic, where one being represented or was, God on Earth. During this Time of Pharaohs and Kings, Lion images proliferated in architecture and monuments, for the Lion is of course, King of Beasts. With the Moon in Leo today we may be seeking romance with a flare for the dramatic..Don’t let an insecure ego run rampant trying to overcompensate for what you think you don’t have. It’s easy to turn emotional incidents into high drama. Build emotional security by using your willpower. Be romantic. Love. Revel in the warmest kindest most tender parts of yourself. Today's dramatic Leo Moon provokes us to do whatever we feel is necessary to be seen and heard. We’re not happy sitting on the sidelines; we yearn to be in the midst of the game. We’re eager to start new projects that express our creativity while there are so many planets fueling the action-oriented fire signs. However, once playful Venus climbs into ambitious Capricorn, we’re willing to sacrifice having fun if we can be assured of success. After several weeks of light-hearted and philosophical socializing, Venus moves into Capricorn, helping us focus on personal and business relationships of lasting consequence and get our finances in order. Moon in Leo lends vitality and creative inspiration to support our focus, and connects with the outer planets to open a window of consolidation for projects and intentions that have been central
for most of the year.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 11
The Day of Jupiter in the kabbalistic World of Air. Projecting Light Specific Blue and facing West, vibrate this azure deluxe into your Second Chakra along with the mantrum: EE-BE-DA. Jupiter is all about allowing ambiguity, contradiction, and movement. It isn't about integration. It helps the ego become more flexible. By Jove, life isn't about staying calm and balanced, but rather about keeping complexity and drama and everything else alive and in dynamic flow. Jupiter is the largest of all the true planets, its mass greater than the rest of them combined. Astrologically, Jupiter is the planet of expansion, growth and optimism. Known as "The Greater Benefic," it symbolizes good luck and fortune. In the ancient Indian language Sanskrit Jupiter is called "guru" or teacher. This fits its association with the higher mind, philosophy, truth and religion. Perhaps Jupiter's good fortune derives from the larger perspective it provides on life in general and our own circumstances.Leo symbolizes individual expression and creativity. Jupiter's presence in this bold sign emphasizes the power of one person to make a statement that will be heard by the world. The capacity to get people to stand up and take notice is likely to be expanded during this entertaining and dramatic time. Jupiter's pursuit of meaning can be enhanced by taking personal risks and an opening of the heart, with which the sign Leo is associated.
The negative side of this transit, however, can be excessive glorification of the ego. Pride in self is healthy, but boundless pride is a blinding light that darkens, rather than illuminates. This can be a time of "bread and circuses," when meaningful questions are buried in the noise of spectacle. Serious inquiry may not come easily when bombast rules the land.Jupiter, God of luck, rules thrice. Thursday is his day, and today Moon connects with his planet, as well as Sun and Mercury, both in Sagittarius, his sign. Optimism, fun and luck run high, making this a good day to dance, have an adventure, creative breakthrough, or any encounter where charm is important.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 12
On this Day of the Virgin of Guadalupe, Moon enters her sign, Virgo, and connects with Venus and Neptune, planets of the sacred feminine and of personal and
unconditional love, respectively. Virgo represents the period from 13 to 23 years old, when mental growth dominates our lives and many attend institutes of higher learning. Many binding choices are made and the rules and details of society are learned. On the World scale Virgo is between 800 BC and AD 400, when classical civilizations like Greece and Rome flourished, when culture, science, philosophy, politics dominated. By AD 300the Books of the New Testament were chosen to support the beliefs of the Christians who formed the political organization of the Church. The naive excepted the surface value, while initiates were forced to hide (occult) their rituals and teachings. Until now. Even above Earth, there are secrets at the heart of Nature that'd make you laugh till you stopped." How can you believe in astrology?," angry, drunken Basque separatists have asked me. I tell them that astrology is not a belief system, but an archetypal, poetic language. I don't ask you if you believe in Japanese. I ask if you speak it. I don't ask you if you believe in music, I ask if you play it. I happen to speak the heavenly tongue of astrology along with thousands of other highly intelligent, inspiring, spiritual and even scientific astrologers. If I never have to deal with angry, drunken Basque separatists who have stolen the Shroud Of Turin again, it'll be too soon. Still, if my destiny is to be an untransformed seed-cum-manure of a man - or to put it another way - if I can at least be the source of unconscious friction that triggers another Christ or Buddha's urgency to awaken, then so be it. Fertilize my ego! The present portal can help us recover the purity of our original nature as co-creators of a kinder and more beautiful world.
Focus on new ways of expressing your affection, being of service or making headway on an artistic and/or altruistic endeavor.
At 4:44 in the morning: you won't see a cop or a raccoon; you can pee in full phantasmagoria under the stars in the night with the wind high and salty
and the dome of the sky in full splay sprayed and contusioned upon the black upon the twisted wicked love of the cypress in decline.
Someday I'd like to stop three feet from the top of Everest. "Fuck it, I'm not going a single inch further." I'd say and turn around.

The December Terrain in the Astral Metaverse: 12-1 to 12-7 As Above, So Below, Bottoms Up!

As December begins, the path we’ve recently walked through November’s many soul challenges, psychic excavations and reality checks is blocked by a bonfire— Believe it or not, this is Saturn in Scorpio’s parting gift—the vision to clearly see our own fingerprints all over our personal history. During the eclipses with a retrograde Mercury, the Wooden Horse galloped through our defenses, pretences, beliefs and illusions, scattering them to the four winds. It all came tumbling down. That’s what’s smouldering on the bonfire. The gift is that we have a chance to find some reciprocity with our Karma by seeing it, getting it and taking responsibility for it. Now we can walk away free and clear into December’s astrology. December is all about soul retrieval—collecting and synthesising all the fragmented parts of ourselves that were abandoned, neglected or orphaned. With the Black Sun alone at the very end of Scorpio and five planets in Sagittarius, it is time to rekindle our soul flame on the phoenix pyre of personal resurrection. Before us lies the landscape of Sagittarius, the plains and mountains ruled by Jupiter, the Hierophant, and during the first three weeks up to the Solstice on December 21, we can write new stories and myths, firing our arrows of intention far into our future time-lines into 2015. All fire signs are born-again signs, and in Sagittarius we are born into spirit, we are baptized. Sagittarius does, in fact, connect with belief, ritual, and religion. Most religions have celebrations during this season. Sagittarius is a spiritual sign. Sagittarius represents, on the level of the first octave, the period between Conceptionand 7 weeks, the first Lunar month after the sperm reaches the egg, and is a compacted pattern at a molecular time scale of the entire life of the cellular body. The embryo develops in parallel with the earlier phases of evolution, retaining memory of these structures in the brain. On the level of the fourth octave (see Chapter 9 of the Metaversal Lightcraft Training Manual for more on the Four Octaves), Sagittarius represents Initiation beyond the realms of Death (Scorpio). On the World scale, Sag occupies the period between AD 1500 and AD 1750, The Renaissance. This was the time when astrology, mathematics, musick and geometry were understood as divine techniques for communicating with the Soul of the World. During the season of Sagittarius we become aware of the spiritual direction which will guide us for the next year. The Sagittarian arrows of light awaken our consciousness to that direction which was planted deeply in us in the time of Aries, at Spring Equinox. It is a wondrous discovery, and we seek kindred spirits with whom to share these new and glorious vistas. We also search for ways to apply this new spiritual understanding to practical life. Feel the shamanic feminine energy rising as Chiron stations to turn direct, ready to refract quantum awareness at the Full Moon on December 6. We can feel our entanglement in the Great Web as a Grand Trine in Fire between Venus, Jupiter, Lilith and Uranus flares our own light in a vast sea of seven billion souls. In Sagittarius, we move from human consciousness to cosmic consciousness. We glimpse the beauties and wonders of the big, bright world beyond our personal sphere. In Scorpio we did the hard work of shedding the final vestiges of our personal egos, our greatest attachments. We found our souls. Now, in Sagittarius, we reap the rewards. We join the larger community and participate in the joy of belonging to that great shining world of ideals.

MONDAY, DECEMBER 1
Though we’re starting the last month of the year, it’s unlikely that we’ll want to wind down today, with Moon in Aries, the dynamo sign, and a string of motivating connections that are particularly productive through midday. The action starts before dawn, with a harmony from Moon to Mercury in expansive Sagittarius. This is an aspect worth rising early for. Write positive affirmations, prepare a proposal or curriculum, or any kind of work related to communications. The flame of power continues to burn as Moon moves to a trine with enthusiastic Sun in Sagittarius at 9:30 am (12:30 pm ET), and then Moon’s ruler Mars, exalted in Capricorn, harmonizes with Saturn as a goodbye gift before moving into Aquarius in 3 days. Moon closes the day by contacting Pluto and Uranus, planets of change. If you’ve used the morning to act in accordance with your authentic self, this will be a good time to put final touches on the day’s work and celebrate, either in private acts of praise or with dear ones who share your independent vision. We should not underestimate the power of Earthritual/ interlock/ and the focused magnetism of emotion. If we would like less catastrophic weather change, this is specifically the engineering we must learn. Like man, the weather participates or partakes of both Earth and Sky. These planet-wide weather up-heavals are literally and specifically, collective emotions. Only if we can emote collectively and braid our ecosystems with coherent emotion can we save our future. This is no arbitrary test for survival of our genepool. It is the perfect test. If we can learn to braid electrical space with the harmonics which love weaves, then we have passed the "ring pass knot" gate to the privilege of doing that same activity for the braid creation of star systems and galaxies with our similar but much unpacked and blossomed electrical bodies.
Love is not just a good idea, it's the Law.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 2
Spirit seems to want us up early, as the morning once again sports the most propitious influences. Moon in bright-eyed Aries harmonizes with Venus and Jupiter, planets of love, luck and abundance, also in fire signs. The first hours of the day favor passion, creative audacity, acting on opportunities or finding a way to trigger them. We can make a daring effort on projects we’ve been focusing on for the last several months to reap the last rays of Mars before it leaves its exaltation in Capricorn on Thursday. Things get a bit slower and potentially tense this afternoon and Moon squares its ruler, Mars, before going VOC for two hours at 6:42 pm (9:42 ET). Favored activities include exercise, dance, defending the rights of seniors or ancestral traditions and going for a walk in nature.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 3
The Day of Mercury in the kabbalistic World of Water, Briah. Mercury's function is to communicate. To think. To know. To reason. Language is his playground. The Akasic Library is his home. And oh yes, Hermes is a Love god. He likes the sound of his own voice. Write a poem, a sonnet, or some erotica today and them transmit that information to at least one other person. I write these darn things every Wednesday. Mercury teaches (by demonstration), the animation of Eidolons, the magick indwelling of icons by Spirit. Listen to music at breakfast, contact the angels of creativity, visualize abundance and follow your intuitive guidance to enjoy this morning’s Moon in Taurus as it harmonizes with Neptune. Afternoon contacts between Moon and Mercury and Sun in Sagittarius may seem to intrude on our comfort zone, but if we look for the message behind the madness, we’ll find new ways to build bridges between everyday reality and our dreams. This evening favors deep transformation, therapeutic encounters and emotional healing, which, by the way, is the true gift behind any sexual connections or overtones that may arise.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 4
Everyone laughed when I sent my dog Zola to the Canine Academy Of Design, but they won't be laughing today when she continues to shit all over their lawn. Fire, fun and romance are in the air this morning, as Venus, Goddess of Love, in the adventurous sign of Sagittarius trines its ruler, Jupiter, in Leo, sign of romance. If you don’t have a worthy consort to spend this energy on, you could connect with a prospect, or go for the gold in your own heart by meditating on love and radiating it to all. This energy has practical applications as well, accented by the Moon in Taurus. Buy a lottery ticket or close a business deal. In all you do, be true to yourself: this afternoon, Sun harmonizes with rebel Uranus, who will countenance nothing less. With Uranus in Aries, today will end up being a turning point in the push for freedom we’ve been making this year as its ruler Mars enters Aquarius, creating mutual reception between the two feisties of the solar system, whose combined forces have been inciting our spiritual warrior nature for the last 30 months.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 5
Invoke blessed Haniel, just before dawn or 2 hours after sunset and behold, a court of photosynthetic Angels who make this place inside your chest cavity a Paradise, performing tantric intercourse in magick towers and lush subterranean caves, opening your Lionheart chakra, a breeze like yellow silk on your naked skin. She really gets my donkeys up onstage. I love the way she plays with my expectations. Like a little dragon-faced hen bursting with tinsel and frayed at the wrong end. After yesterday’s freeing influences and Moon’s pre-dawn entrance into Gemini, the air is somehow clearer this morning. But things get a bit misty around 11:20 am (2:20pm ET) with Moon’s square to Neptune. Make a space for meditation, interpret last night’s dreams or consult an oracle. These and other intuitive activities help offset the potentially confusing effects of this aspect, which otherwise might catch you off guard and seed doubts or lead you to disperse the magic of yesterday’s portal by engaging in trivial or excessive conversation. Things become easier tonight as Mercury, ready to fly in Sagittarius, trines Uranus the liberator. Choose your company and surroundings in accordance with your highest aspirations. Perhaps tonight's X-stasis gathering at Metaversal Lightcraft would be just the thing. Yep, rewoot to that.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6
Luna reaches her fullness in Gemini amid connections with Jupiter and Chiron; a portal opens for healing and success.
These energies are great for revising and innovating on holiday tradition. Timely questions include: How can you make the year’s
end more meaningful? What part of familial social or ancestral traditions would you like to skip and what would you like to preserve, revive or enrich? Gemini balances the vibrations triggered at the Sagittarius New Moon by going from the grandiose to the particular, and this lunation helps us get concrete about our Metaversal visions and share them in words, blessings, music or another venue of expression. And while we are talking 'bout Metaversal Visions, at Metaversal Lightcraft this evening it's "Iao Core's 25th Annual Abject and Unusual Film and Video Festival" The years best short surrealistic masterpieces from around the world will be screened and many of the directors will be on hand to answer questions and feel appreciated by an adoring swarm of Dadaist groupies.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 7
The Day of the Sun in the Week of Water. Between dark and light the angles of times are best manifest at their balance, so invoke Apollo, Ra, Elvis, or the baby-faced Sun god from the Teletubbies into your heart Chakra this morning. Our Qabalistic thunderbolt of revelation resembles a corkscrew in more ways than one.Moon rises in Gemini, offering a morning gift as it connects with Saturn and helps us get concrete with our intentions. This combination makes writing them down is particularly effective today. At 9.: 34 am (12:34 pm ET), Moon moves into Cancer, followed by mind-opening connections with Mars in Aquarius and Neptune in Pisces, sign of subtle realms. Favored activities include invoking the sacred feminine with a unique group, volunteering at a community kitchen or otherwise assisting those in need.

this coming Saturnsday.......
