At 1:56 am at 3°47′ Scorpio, the Moon reaches its opening (waxing) First Quarter square to the Sun. This is a call to action in order to create what we want on this lunar cycle. The Moon continues in Scorpio, helping us integrate these experiences into our way forward. Scorpio represents the period from 42 years old to Death, when ones sense of Time compacts and passes rapidly. Since this stage is the last in the life of the human biological machine, it's now time to transcend the confines of the mortal body and to assure continued existence, either you breed (pass on your DNA) or step out of the loop (become your DNA). On the World scale, Scorpio is between AD 1100 and AD 1500, when the Dark Ages reached their peak. This is the Time of the Crusades and the Inquisition, when Pain, Bloodshed and Oppression swept over Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, after the uneasy alliances made during Libra. And the sun is the center eternally now and therefore timeless. The Sun never sets on itself. The evolution of the Metaversal song, what some refer to as the Great Work, has as its core the purpose of resonating this harmonic through your individual interactive Lightcraft. The Moon is still in Sagittarius all day, bringing us perspective on the relationships that remain in suspension while we take care of the obstacles that stand in their way.Sagittarius represents, on the level of the first octave, the period between Conception and 7 weeks, the first Lunar month after the sperm reaches the egg, and is a compacted pattern at a molecular time scale of the entire life of the cellular body. At 0:29 am PT, the Moon goes into Capricorn and initiates another deep dive into the unconscious over the course of the day as it contacts Pluto and Uranus. Capricorn represents, on the level of the first octave, the period between 7 weeks until 12 weeks after Conception, when the embryo becomes a fetus, and the sex and physical appearance are determined. The body takes form through it's skeletal system. On the level of the fourth octave (see Chapter 9 of the Metaversal Lightcraft Training Manual for more on the Four Octaves), Capricorn represents the integration and structuring of the higher perceptions of the Self in the World on a practical level. On the World scale, Capricorn occupies the period between AD 1750 and AD 1840. This was the time when the ideology of Sagittarius was translated into material form. Humanity evinced a superiority over the forces of nature, and the Industrial revolution began. Romanticism surrounded the likes of Shelly, Goethe, Byron, and Chopin, reacting to the cold prevailing mechanistic World view. Rudolph Steiner said that the human being is created, and destined to be, a self-defining creature. Are we slightly higher than monkeys or slightly lower than angels? Marriage was the primary process through which opposing countries where integrated into a whole. With the Moon in Libra we are aware of our communal relations, law, justice and balance. The 7th house (Libra) has been called the house of marriage. The key to the New Aeon of MA'AT is figuring out the new symbol for Libra, as the institution of marriage was originally designed as a tool by the Church to secure it's future domination. Those that cannot find this new symbol and perform these symbolic rites on themselves and their tribe, and the whole fabric of material being, will inherit only the blues, decay, and husks. Mercury comes to its second of three trines to Uranus with help from Venus and Saturn, and we have the chance to take a quantum leap toward our dreams. At 8:22 am PT (11:22 am ET) the Moon enters its void period in Libra for another day when it’s better to continue and complete things rather than initiate. At 7:29 pm (10:29 pm ET), Moon enters Scorpio, magnifying our imagination and deep feeling with a trine to Neptune.

Mars completes the Grand Cross with an evening square to Uranus, and things end for now in a surprise. Even if it seems as though things are headed the wrong way, remain resolute in your direction for now. Adjustments may be necessary later, but while we’re in the dark of the Moon we can wait.We are ready to rebel against anything that constrains us today. Or, others may act out our need for freedom now if we try to deny it. Either way, an erratic Mars-Uranus opposition creates unstable tension. Although the emotionally sensitive Cancer Moon might increase our fear of change, we’re still likely to put ourselves in risky situations that raise our adrenaline levels. The New Moon starts a new lunar month at 9:24 pm PT (12:24 am on July 19 for East coasters in the USA) at 26°55′ Cancer, the final contact the Moon makes before its void period. This lunation carries more about the past than the future with it, and accordingly we will be clearing old energies and tapping liminal space, which is where we go when the Moon is void of course, especially in a Water Sign. This will be a highly creative month, one where we’ll need to be tuned in to the inner forces to make our way. Mercury retrograde in this chart augments this process, as it leads us to let go of past blocks to fulfilling our heart’s longing.

The will of the people, the emotional responses of the population especially those in the heartland, will be center stage as the national election approaches. The candidates who appeal to a sense of security will be favored. The American workforce is not a contented lot these days, with rumblings of unionization and freedom from oppressive conditions. The Day of Jupiter in Fireweek finds the big guy in Gemini. Jupiter is the planet of expansion, growth and optimism. It seeks grand truths and meaning. Human beings receive internal contamination from uranium mining, the routine and accidental releases from nuclear power plants and weapon production facilities, the seepage of radioactive waste into the environment, fallout from nuclear weapons testing and the recent deployment of uranium/depleted uranium weapons. The standards of safety underlying all of these activities have been developed by the radiation protection agencies. If their models underestimate the health consequences of internal contamination of the human body, more people are suffering from radiogenic diseases than currently acknowledged.
First, the facts: Uranus went retrograde on July 13 at 9:50 a.m. and Mercury went retrograde a few days later (on July 15) at 2:17 in the morning
Uranus going retrograde in Aries is about life changes—particularly at the “basic” level of how we live our life and how we see ourselves. Life is changing, we’re changing and for those of the reluctant sort, evidently we should be changing. Because it takes Uranus an average of seven or so years to roll through a sign, we know the years between 2011 and 2018 involve substantial change. Maybe even radical change. During this time we either get with it, or it gets to us in ways we would least suspect—but which are essential to our ultimate life purpose. By the way here…when I say Uranus “rolls” through a sign, I really mean it. Even though scientists have barely begun to plumb Uranus’ weird qualities, we do know that this is our solar system’s most truly eclectic planet. With pole pointing towards the Sun, Uranus does literally “roll” along the ecliptic of its orbit.
In any case, particularly when it comes to Uranus (and Pluto, but that’s a different matter) the very best metaphysical rule to remember would be that of Robert Hand, who said: use the energy wisely, lest it use you unwisely. His original reference (at least when I heard him talk about it) was to Pluto. But the rule is well taken as an across-the-board concept. And when we’re talking about metaphysical entities which represent life’s most abrupt and stunningly startling potentialities (i.e., Uranus), keeping such a thought in one’s head seems particularly apt.But let’s be real…change isn’t something human beings much like. Oh sure, we complain like the dickens about how this or that needs to change. Or how we wish something was different. But confront us with the need or even the opportunity to make changes, and suddenly people get all tired, reluctant, recalcitrant and even rebellious. Time alone will not Heal this Wound I just came across an independent Japanese inquiry on the Fukushima disaster that is amazingly accurate. I also came across this bit of writing I did for August 25th of last year, with the Tsunami/Earthquake Meltdown just a mere month before. This was the period when in fact the west coast was being massively contaminated with Cesium 137, but the media and our government were saying there was nothing to worry about. This new Japanese inquiry confirms everything I was ranting about was true. During the last year congress okayed the building of new nuclear plants in the United States all utilizing the same faulty GE brand Mark 5 reactor than same as the failed reactor in Japan. How did they get away with that? Nobody knows how fucked we are. I am surprised daily by people telling me “if the milk was radioactive, the people in charge of monitoring our food would have told us…My 84 year old mother in Northern California last year at this time begin to experience double vision, hair loss, including a metallic taste in her mouth. Her Doctor thinks she is a hypochondriac but never tests her for radiation poisoning. {“Why would I? Did your Mother start working at a Nuclear Power Plant?“ he said to me. The reactors at Fukushima are the largest in the world, and 3 of them are in total meltdown. They have been melting down since thirty-minutes after the Tsunami' because the cooling systems went off when the earthquake happened and 90 minutes after the cooling stopped-the reactors went into meltdown. This is all a cover-up, this is a false-flag, this is a poisoning of the oceans the atmosphere and the biosphere. No one can escape. Woman and Children (and the elderly) First Uranium is actually a depopulation agent especially for the unborn and the young and the elderly. the effect of Uranium is depopulation of the youngest and the oldest in populations. It’s all over all our crops, our farmlands, contaminating the runoff, our drinking water, and the animals are all eating it too. So uranium is absolutely everywhere! The whole west coast of North America is completely contaminated with radiation now. Both the EPA and the Canadian government said "There's no danger to radiation-no the Fukushima ah-it's just tiny amounts.” Fucking Liars! Twenty-four of the 124 monitoring stations which the EPA operates are broken. There are six reactors at the Fukushima Number one plant and four more at the Fukushima Number 2 plant. There are seven cooling ponds at Fukushima, with six on top of the reactors; and there are 600,000 SPENT FUEL RODS, from 40 years of operating those reactors. A (single) spent fuel rod weighs about one-thousand, two hundred pounds. It has over one-thousand three-hundred isotopes in it; and it is exactly what is produced when a nuclear bomb explodes. ~ Four of those reactors blew up from hydrogen explosions and the fuel rods went shooting high into the air and 'that' is what HAS POISONED ALL OF NORTH AMERICA. (I mean the West coast of Canada, the west Coast of the United States and the West Coast of Mexico). That's the food basket for North America. And this is at levels like bomb testing. This is at levels like Chernobyl released close to the ground and has poisoned the whole world. And now we have something that is at least ten times worse, many times worse than Chernobyl. Because the reactor at Chernobyl, that caught on fire, was half the size of the small reactor in unit one and it was mostly fuel rods that were uranium that burned, instead of the spent fuel rods that burned at Fukushima! Because of that the whole top third of Honshu, all the way up to the tip of Honshu-that is UNINHABITABLE NOW. It is three-times more radioactive on the ground than after Chernobyl. It's over 3,000 becerels (sp?) per second, of extremely dangerous radionuclides that are decaying across that whole top third of Honshu. The Entirety of the Northern Hemisphere around the world is affected by fallout, as well as the Pacific Ocean. These radioactive dangers include not only radioactive I-131, cesium 137, and potassium 40-42, but also plutonium. This is far more dangerous than I-131 and cesium 137. A full plutonium reactor meltdown will kill a significant amount of the Japanese population. Unfortunately it is not clear if plutonium is being used in one of the reactors, and what is happening in general with the nuclear reactors there. The following disturbing facts about the health dangers posed by higher radiation levels have been gleaned from the international news: “Chief cabinet minister Yukio Edano said radiation levels near the stricken plant on the northeast coast reached as high as 400 millisieverts (mSv) an hour, thousands of times higher than readings before the blast. That would be 20 times the current yearly level for some nuclear-industry employees and uranium miners. Exposure to 350 mSv was the criterion for relocating people after the Chernobyl accident, according to the World Nuclear Association. People are exposed to natural radiation of about 2 mSv a year. Exposure to 100 mSv a year is the lowest level at which any increase in cancer is clearly evident. A cumulative 1,000 mSv would probably cause a fatal cancer many years later in five out of every 100 persons exposed to it.” To help you understand the severity of the situation, in the struggle to stop plutonium satellites from being launched from Cape Canaveral, evidence was released to show that an accidental satellite explosion could kill the entire population of Florida. These are, of course, serious consequences that leave us with the question of what to do. On the physical plane, we know that significant protection against these deadly radiation energies occurs through competitive inhibition. In other words, if the body is taking in natural wholesome elements from certain foods, it will not have space to take in the radioactive elements. The various elements compete at the receptor cites, and healthy food wins every time. To protect yourself from I-131 poisoning, take 5 kelp tablets daily. The body will absorb the kelp instead of the I-131. Taking 50-100 mg of Idoral daily is more expensive and also more effective. To protect yourself from cesium poisoning, consume plenty of high potassium foods, as potassium competitively inhibits cesium uptake. Foods high in potassium include avocados, sea vegetables, and leafy green vegetables. I don’t necessarily recommend taking a potassium supplement. These foods should provide all you need to block cesium 137 uptake. To protect yourself from plutonium poisoning, eat lots of dulse and consume iron from plant sources, namely sea algaes such as spirulina, E3Live, and chlorella, which provide more iron than red meat. Miso soup has also been shown to have a protective effect. NCD, at 10 drops 4 times daily, is excellent for taking almost all radioactive materials out of the body. Additionally, foods and supplements high in antioxidants, will also help the body cope with these higher toxic levels as radioactive materials cause anti-oxidant depletion and ill health. I recommend taking the products Mega Hydrate and Anti-Oxidant Extreme for maximum antioxidant support. Eating alkalizing food is also good. Eating low on the food chain is a basic essential principle as well. What we learned from the Chernobyl incident in 1986 was that there was a 900% increase in peri-natal mortality in the Boston area. It was found that the cows’ milk (including grass-fed cows’ milk) contained concentrated radioactive I-131, and the expectant or nursing mothers drinking the cows’ milk inadvertently poisoned their babies. The radioactive pollutions in the environment, such as depleted uranium, become more concentrated higher on the food chain. Dioxin in the environment is found concentrated in Ben and Jerry’s ice cream at 200 times a safe exposure level. This is one reason why a live-food, plant-source diet, eating low on the food chain, is the safest and best diet at this point in history and the foreseeable future. A small point on the level of risk benefit, if you happened to live on the West Coast, all the way to Vancouver, where the peri-natal rate was increased by approximately 50% and in the Boston area by 900%, it would not have been wise to eat animal and dairy products locally. We may have to look at locavore ideologies as secondary to the bigger health issues, as eating locally only yields 11% less CO2 compared with procuring products from around the globe. Additionally, it is helpful to understand that the energies behind these earth changes are “wake-up calls” to change our adharmic lifestyles. I urge you to consider these prophetic unfoldings and examine your lives. Make changes that help you to move away from the Culture of Death and into the Culture of Life and Liberation. This includes careful consideration of everything from diet to doing service and charity, and no longer living according to the “relative morality” that has become the world’s standard.

With Uranus in Aries, those “don’t tell me what to do!” tendencies are exacerbated. During these years (2011-2018) we can expect more cutting off of noses to spite faces and abdication of responsibility than we’ve seen in decades. (And that’s going some!) We can also expect to hear some of the goofiest excuses and witness more evasion of responsibility than we’ve ever thought possible.
Uranus in Aries creates an atmosphere in which the more we need to change, the more likely we are to insist that you need to change. It’s a projection-prone, nay-sayer’s dream. It’s also a contentious time. Yes, we will hear much whining about “why can’t things be easier?” (Answer: because you won’t change.) The backward shift of Mercury is associated with technical problems, mixed-up messages and inaccurate information. But we can use the next three weeks to reconnect with people from the past and to resurrect creative concepts. Listening more attentively and communicating more precisely will prevent minor errors before they become major problems.The New Moon in sentimental Cancer is a return to our roots in search of nourishment and a sense of continuity. Saturn in Assiah literally completes the braid which not only holds Assiah together, but creates the possibility for the proper information context for the evolution of human nervous systems, which are fortunate enough to be able to embed themselves in the "fields" of the Metaverse. This retrograde lasts for 24 days, through August 7, when it stations direct at 1°26' Leo. The sextile will flavor this retrograde with an emphasis on healing communications and bright plans for the future. If you want to play with us, this is the only rule. The foundation of our Lightcraft is built in Chaos, so you must maintain a firm foundation, or Chaos your life will be. Some of us need this connection four times a day (sunrise, true noon, sunset, true midnight). Some of us actually manage to do it four times a day. It is a choice you must make. Day of the Sun in Assiah. The Metaversal Lightpilot, which the ancient Egyptians referred to as the KA, is actually the fourth dimensional driver of the third dimensional Lightcraft, the BA. There is a sixth dimensional solar mind which interacts with all levels and is purely an electromagnetick harmonic, a harmony based on all the other levels coming together around a center. And the sun is the center eternally now and therefore timeless. The Sun never sets on itself. The evolution of the Metaversal song, what some refer to as the Great Work, has as its core the purpose of resonating this harmonic through your individual interactive Lightcraft. Mercury in its retrograde phase is speaking more loudly than usual now, and this is a good day to get its messages straight, as Moon in Gemini replays yesterday’s sweet connection between Mercury and Venus.

At 3:56 am (6:56 am ET), the Moon enters its void period in Gemini, which again lasts all day, until its ingress into Cancer at 5:31 pm (8:31 pm ET). Trines bracket the day, leading us from the structures and rules of Saturn to the visionary images of Neptune.

We get another day to work on maintenance and completions, as the Moon goes void of course at 8:48 am (11: 48 am ET) in Aquarius, carrying the productive and harmonious flavor of its trine to Saturn into the process. Moon enters Pisces at 9:29 pm dissolving our initiative into peace. However there’s something under the surface that is unresolved and building in force that will be released over the weekend. Pisces represents, on the level of the first octave, the period between 28 weeks after Conception till Birth, when after the electrick nervous system of the fetus switches on (Aquarius), we become psychically tuned to the entity later to be known as Mother. On the level of the fourth octave (see Chapter 9 of the Metaversal Lightcraft Training Manual for more on the Four Octaves), Pisces represents the enlightened Self which must give itself totally to the whole, dissolving into the void, in order to achieve the final unity with the realm of pure spirit. On the World scale, Pisces occupies the period between 1910 and 1969. heralded by the founding of Psychoanalysis, when Mankind began exploring again the Unconscious strata of Life, and by Albert Einstein's (a Pisces) Theory of Relativity. This was the time of Jung, Joyce, Hesse, Huxley, Leary, Burroughs. We transcended the limits the illusion, Maya, the physical World of Assiah, extending inward with the electron microscope and outward with the high powered Telescope. We’ll need the peace provided through Moon in Pisces to help us through the final pass we have at healing a relationship wound. Venus squares Chiron for the third of three times, from Gemini-Pisces. What happens yesterday, today, and tomorrow will tie into our experiences of April 12 and June 16. The Moon connects with the numerous planets in early Mutable—Neptune, Jupiter, and Venus-Chiron—over the course of the day to augment an emotional-spiritual aspect to the release. We may cry for no apparent reason. This is a sign of something welling up from the memories buried deep in our childhood, karmic, or ancestral past. Well, Your Name, have you come this far to spread intricate sadness with all possible combinations of dour gesticulations and complex facial contortions? Didn't think so. Between dark and light the angles of times are best manifest at their balance, so invoke Apollo, Ra, or a baby-faced Sun God into your heart Chakra today. Sunday is always a good day integrate all the planets in our personal Lightcraft. In the World of Yetzirah, Air, the Lightcraft is analogous to the active aspect of the psychological body, or for simplicities sake, let's call it Psyche. In the physical body (in Assiah) there are infinite subdivisions down to the frontier of the physical world, where the particles of matter and impulses of energy are interchangeable. In the same way, the Psyche interpenetrates the body so that the upper part of the physical world percolates and influences the lower part of the psyche, and vice versa. In the macrodimensions of the Metaverse, a crisis can generate a direct contact with the Sun in Yetzirah (Psyche) but after the crisis, the connection fades, and the watcher in oneself fades back into the subconscious. The Lightpilot seeks to consciously make permanent connection with the Sun in Yetzirah. This is done by constant observation of actions, emotions and intellect, to perceive impartially the way those functions operate, and to correct and perfect their performance so as to become a true seething. To be the big picture, complete in all its parts. Mars reaches its first degree of activation when it quincunxes Neptune and trines the Moon’s Nodes to give us a smooth glide into the future. With Venus now direct, many of May’s solar eclipse effects materialize in real time. The beauty of Venus in Gemini is that the winds of attraction may blow in many directions. New perspectives on love become more possible. This is, ideally, a time to discuss relationships with the clarity and openness for which Gemini is known. This air sign supports the objectivity needed to see complex issues of partnership without emotional distortion. Venus in Gemini places value on words and communication of all kinds. Attraction to gadgets, books, classes and learning tools may be greater than usual now. Depth is not the strong point here. Understand that we all need diversions. Enjoy the playfulness possible now, just don't take it seriously. It's a time of tasting, rather than testing. The great gift of this period is a willingness to set aside old rules about what you like and dislike. Life is a great cornucopia of flavors, meant to awaken as much as to comfort. You can use this time to drop some of your social and aesthetic rules. Beauty, pleasure and personal values, you may discover, come in an infinite variety of shapes, colors and sizes. Muted by Venus having done its retrograde in the sign of the solar eclipse, change now comes upon us. Given this, July appears to present us with choices. Will we build or resist? Will we accept new challenges? Or refuse to learn better? A couple of overarching issues stand out as a stage on which what we do (or don’t do) plays out. Probably the biggest theme is an ongoing fight with our Self which is set off by life situations and the people involved therein. The astrological symbols here are Pluto on the Capricorn side in opposition with the Sun’s passage through Cancer, which is not exactly the Capulets and Montagues (nor Hatfields and McCoys) but it’s a wearing, trying feeling which stirs insecurities even while igniting the desire to succeed. There’s a level at which this is purely about us as individuals—and whether what we’re building, how we’re building it, or maybe even why we’re insisting on building it is ping-ponging about, testing our willingness to see the inconsistencies with our aims or methodologies. There’s another level which is about relationships and an ongoing debate (in our head and with others) about where our world (personal and societal) is going. This second part is very strongly symbolized by Neptune squaring the Lunar Nodes, a sign that we know things are in flux and that we need to be more effective. Our sense of “cause/effect” is being tested. But why? Why can’t we do things the way we always have? And maybe more to the immediate point, should we be assertive, defensive or apologetic? Neptune in Pisces is all about experiencing emotions and feeling our reactions to our own emotions. With the “object” of all Neptune passages being about balancing ideals and inspiration against realism…against the recognition of our personal humanity, some emotional confusion is expected about now. (And throughout the next seven (or so) years!) The sum of these two transpersonal dynamics (Pluto/ plus Neptune/Nodes) now manifests in a test of personal willingness to be who we should be, not just that person it’s easy to be. And yes, with Pluto we are more than likely to think everything is because of others. Or society. They caused it. It’s an understandable position to take, but at the metaphysical level everything is about you—not “them.” This is all about our willingness to except our belief that we really are inside of a projected reality of our own creation. What? Only God can create reality. I’m pretty sure Trent Reznor was just finishing a Pluto transit when he wrote “ What if everything around you, isn't quite as it seems? What if all the world you think you know is an elaborate dream? And if you look at your reflection, is it all you want it to be? What if you could look right through the cracks? Would you find yourself ? Or find yourself afraid to see? “In general, the summer months of 2012 are a bridge to tomorrow. By the 1st, we will have already started our crossing, which began when the Sun entered Cancer on June 20. There are many cross-currents to manage as we make the journey, the most prominent of which is the Mercury retrograde. Ah, how refreshing, to have only one “special planetary event” at a time for a change! May and June were so full of multiple simultaneous significant events, it was common to feel overwhelmed. Many truths emerged under the onslaught of connectivity and communication we got through the varied activities in Gemini. Some of these were painful, and we may not have had the chance to integrate these into our path by the end of June. This will be rectified under the Mercury retrograde. We may complain about the challenges we face under Mercury, but he brings us respite to assimilate the previous four months of activity, adjust our direction and methods. We get a second chance at some things, the opportunity to recover something that we decide should not have been lost, or to let go and move on. This Mercury retrograde starts July 14 at 12°33' Leo, but it entered its shadow on June 27 at 1°26' Leo, the point at which it stations direct on August 7. It leaves its shadow on August 22. This will generally be a creative and beneficial retrograde, with mostly harmonious contacts. There are some quincunxes however, suggesting an instructive awkwardness that leads us in the direction of resolving difficult situations. This will not be a pain-free experience for most of us, but it will provide the opportunity to reduce if not fully release the pain as we let go of what doesn’t suit and find new harmony as we create room for the things and people we want in our lives going forward. The key feature of Mercury’s retrograde is harmonious contacts with the planets of enterprise and miraculous plot twists: Mars, Jupiter, and Uranus. This means that creative juices will run high, and we will feel pulled to take action that results in expansion and prosperity. The key is human contact, since Mars and Jupiter are in Air signs. Mars enters Libra on July 3, the day of the Full Moon. This reactivates situations that came to life June 20-30, as the Great Warrior contacts Pluto and Uranus on July 17-18. We have seen a busy year thus far where relationships are concerned, as Mars and Venus have both been telling us their truth about love. Mars is out of its retrograde zone as of June 21; Venus will be in its retrograde shadow until July 31. We are still reorganizing our lives in light of what both these planets have revealed to us. The other shoe has yet to drop by July 1 for most of us, but it is most likely to by the end of July. Saturn plays a huge role in this as well, and if you are involved in a long-term process that began (whether in a new or existing relationship) in or after October 2009, the story won’t be complete until the end of September, when Saturn leaves its retrograde shadow and enters Scorpio. Chiron and Neptune are retrograde now, getting tangled in the Transit of Venus in early-mid June. This highlights healing as a modus operandi in our relationships over the 19 months of the Venus cycle that started June 5. Pluto reached the peak point in its yearly cycle with the Sun on June 29, and we made it through in the new light of Pluto coming before Uranus in their degree sequence. This represents a shift in perspective and way of responding to the energies. It feels like what we’ve been waiting for is happening—and it is. The Sun’s square to Uranus on the same day signaled that Uranus’s station retrograde is not far off, and we get that on July 13, the day before Mercury commences its retrograde. This brings clear opportunity if we can wait until the doors open themselves rather than pushing them open. The trine between these two planets hearkens back to one in early November 2011 and to the three conjunctions that Mercury made with this planet of awakening on its last retrograde in March-April. We are lucky. If there had been only one pass of Mercury over these planets, we would have experienced them as a momentary opening; with three passes, we can build our own fire of imagination and expression leading to prosperity in the coming months—something that stays with us. The first Uranus-Pluto square is behind us, and we know more. There are six to go, the next in September. These represent forces that are beyond our control, and human emotion tends to run wild under the resulting energy deluge. Fukushima is finally being recognized as the global threat it is... This sends waves of fear, depression, etc. around the planet that we can choose to transmute, but we have to recognize as unrelated to Who We Are.

It does so with the added intensity of a Moon occultation of Pluto that feeds into a square to Uranus and then the Full Moon at 12°14' Cancer-Capricorn/11:52 am. Our feelings are activated, and we feel strongly pulled toward what we long for. No matter what form, we want security, connection, love and warmth. This is shaped by some awkward circumstances which help us find our way through. Communication is key, and even if we can’t say (nor are likely to hear) that everything is perfect and beautiful, the important thing is the love with which it is said and the care we can show by expressing it in words.

In the chart cast for Washington DC, on this day before our countries Birthday, political tomfoolery is emphasized. Lots of dots connect today to create opportunities for creative insights and clear communications. Mercury sextiles Venus, Mercury trines Uranus, and Venus sextile Uranus over the day, creating a Minor Grand Trine in Aries-Gemini-Leo. This contact brings a fiery brilliance to our creative efforts, especially writing. This is the first of three trines between Mercury and Uranus. Note what occurs today and use the energy to fuel something you want to accomplish in the next two months, to benefit something longer term. With Mars just into Libra, the Capricorn Moon reaches its void period on a square to Saturn at 5:25 am, so now we end many efforts with a feeling of being hindered by our social obligations. We may wake up restless and ready to fix our self-image in our new awareness of what we really want. There is hard work ahead via many small steps. This has its own “backdoor” healing effect. The Moon continues in Aquarius, hooking up harmoniously with the planets still in Air signs, Jupiter and Venus.
