June 22nd to the 28th
TUESDAY JUNE 22
The Moon continues in Scorpio, as a lack of planetary contacts gives us more space and time to integrate the powerful energies we’re experiencing now. The second level of the Scorpio pyramid is the level of the Snakes. There are fewer of them then there are Scorpions ( and even fewer Eagles) These snakes are exceptionally thin, and either extremely swift or completely motionless. One of my strangest Scorpio experiences was coming across a huge mating-ball of such serpents. One moment it would be writhing wildly; the next, utterly still, like an overgrowth of vines or roots. The snakes were eyed, but without mouths. Most were of a uniform blackness, no sign of scales. On some, I observed herringbone patterns along the back. Others are marked by parallel circular bands. One had a meandering line of a relatively light shade running from the base of its head to the tip of its tail. My presence, by the way, had no evident effect upon their activity. Scorpio is the most intense sign. It conjures up our deepest fears, as we deal with our psychological black hole of vulnerability. Only by facing these uncertainties do we gain mastery over ourselves. Scorpio, the archetypal sign of birth and death, works at the subterranean levels of survival
WEDNESDAY JUNE 23
The Sun’s square to Jupiter fills the day with awareness of the adventures that lie before us, the unexplored realms that lie ahead on our chosen path. Your insights now will inform your experiences during Jupiter’s 4-month retrograde period, which starts July 23. Before it goes void of course at 8:33 am, the Moon’s sextile to Saturn starts our day with a plan, but a square to Neptune may remind us that strategies are less effective than going with the flow. We get a good break from activity until 11:10 am, when the Moon enters expansive Sagittarius. The Moon in Scorpio sets the mood today. Scorpio represents the period from 42 years old to Death, when ones sense of Time compacts and passes rapidly. Since this stage is the last in the life of the human biological machine, it's now time to transcend the confines of the mortal body and to assure continued existence, either you breed (pass on your DNA) or step out of the loop (become your DNA). On the World scale, Scorpio is between AD 1100 and AD 1500, when the Dark Ages reached their peak. This is the Time of the Crusades and the Inquisition, when Pain, Bloodshed and Oppression swept over Asia, Europe, and the Middle East , after the uneasy alliances made during Libra. This is the sign of the Shadow. Successfully navigated, one can experience healthy, flowing spontaneous sexuality, an acceptance of Death and an integration of its reality into daily life, thus gaining a sense of the immortality of consciousness. Better to strike while still asleep, in order to maintain an alibi. A cherubic barking up the wall loosens the paint enough that we can read the inscriptions underneath; however, we have discovered to our surprise and delight that we would rather just eat the paint as it peels away like the skin of a blank but meaning-filled chrysalis, the unscripted flesh of the years...A square to Chiron induces a healing insight that comes from gaining an independent perspective; it’s time to free ourselves. Its afternoon trines to Uranus and Jupiter ease these energies of innovation and electrifying change into our lives. The more we can detached from our expectations, the easier these energies are for us to absorb and incorporate into our lives.
THURSDAY JUNE 24
As it squares Saturn and trines Neptune, Mercury brings to consciousness the things that won’t work in our plan for the future. Maybe it’s time to let go of something that you thought was important but turns out to be a source of ego attachment. The Moon in Sagittarius gives us clues to relationship matters through dreams and feelings when it squares Mars and trines Venus early in the day. We need to let go of our uptightness and go with the flow. This is a defining moment in history, and in each of our lives: an opportunity, and a calling, to be part of an extraordinary movement toward a life-sustaining global community - the Great Turning. Never in my lifetime have I witnessed a historical moment when it seemed so important to understand the phenomenon of fear. In the collective, fear is behind myriad losses of social freedoms. It is the enemy of true democracy; it is the father of war. It is often argued thatfear serves an evolutionary purpose in Nature: as when a rat fears a snake, or when our bodies tense in the presence of a stranger -- because the unknown may have danger in it. The type of fear I propose we need to challenge is that which misused Saturn creates in the human mind. Spiritual teachers have told us since time immemorial that fear is a function of the experience of separation, and that separation is an illusion. We are all part of the Whole, they say; and when sitting in meditation, perhaps we glimpse this in our hearts. I think the rat knows it, too, even though it is wired to spook in the presence of the snake; I believe that in its DNA, it knows that it, and the snake, are part of the same Whole. It is human fear that deserves our utmost caution. This is a product of reactive Saturn, and it makes us forget what we, just like the rat, know in a species-knowing way: that the separations we experience in society -- from the suspicion one high-school clique feels for another, to the xenophobia behind horrible global suffering –--all separation is an illusion. That this is so is spelled out in the ordering of the planets in our solar system: Saturn, the planet of separation, is trumped by Neptune, which orbits beyond it, further out, symbolic of a higher Truth. This does not make Saturn any less real; it doesn’t mean separation has no legitimacy. All the planets represent realities. But the sequencing of their orbits in the solar system is a heavy hint. Neptune represents the spiritual über-Truth that encompasses all the other realities of which Saturn is only one. Neptune is the cosmic Source, and if there is one fundamental law of mystical thinking, it is this: That there is no such thing as being separated from Source. This is Neptune’s promise; and by remembering it, we can use Saturn without fear. This is only way to use it if we want to be a real grown-up. And the world has never needed us to grow up more than it does now
FRIDAY JUNE 25
There are plenty of planetary connections to assimilate into our consciousness today: At 3:32 am, our mental energy becomes more instinctual when Mercury goes into Cancer, squares Uranus and trines Chiron. This opens the doorway to mind flashes and images from the inner world that help us know what’s in our heart so we can set our course for the next six months, triggered by tomorrow’s Lunar Eclipse. The Sun’s opposition to Pluto today brings illumination about the inner transformative process that we have been enacting in our lives—we will begin to see this unfold dramatically into the visible world through a dynamic process made even more powerful by the eclipse. Our current Sun-Pluto process began in late December and will continue through the end of this year. The Moon has many encounters today, suggesting interruptions that could lead us to busy-ness that distracts us from what’s really going on. Let go of expectations about what today holds, and you will find it easier to flow with what comes up. At 4:34 pm, the Moon enters a void period that lasts until it enters Capricorn at 7:21 pm.
SATURNSDAY JUNE 26
Most of the action occurs before we wake, as the Sun, Moon, Pluto, Mercury, and Jupiter interact in early cardinal signs, including the These planets are critically involved in a process that we will be working with for the next six months as these eclipse energies unfold in our lives. Early cardinal degrees often lead to hasty action, but it is often beneficial to wait, even though we feel like it’s the last thing we want to do. We want change, even if we have to force it; it feels painful to stay in one place. Yet, patience will help us, and with the Moon trine to Mars tempered by its position in Virgo, we are more able to withstand our sense of urgency. The Lunar Eclipse’s Sabian Symbol, at 5 Capricorn, is: “An American Indian encampment rests by the side of a canoe-filled stream, and on shore the war dance commences.” [ME Jones version] As segments of the population around the world become fearful about earth changes and human catastrophes, one way they cope is by building up their defenses. Various groups may show aggressive behavior in response to perceived threats, but as their fears dissipate they will relax. ! I hope this isn't an ackward time to mention that the structural basis for all Light-specific work in the Metaverse is regular, disciplined connection to the No-Form, meditation, contemplation, what ever you want to call it, as long as it's deep. Supremely solitary in that heath of scrub. The Light-Specific state initiates itself with SOLITUDE, the gratifying element of being alone (if only for 20 minutes a day)... without which, true development is impossible. The point is to connect to your inner source of stability, the state of potentia, the No-Form, at least once a day. No-Form is not a goal or state of "spiritual arrival" (as some religions would have us believe), it is a highly practical, multi-purpose tool for dissolving our identification with the ego. If you want to play with us, this is the only rule. The foundation of our Lightcraft is built in Chaos, so you must maintain a firm foundation, or Chaos your life will be. Some of us need this connection four times a day (sunrise, true noon, sunset, true midnight). Some of us actually manage to do it four times a day. It is a choice you must make. I would do it for you if I could. Once a day is all that's required to maintain the Continuity function. Future generations of yourself will be glad this came to pass. The Lightcraft Academy , Yoga Ceremonial Magick, this astrology forecast, they all provide ritual technology for Self initiation. But the key word here is Self. D.I.Y
…………………………………………………………………………….
SUNDAY JUNE 27
While the Moon moves through Capricorn, Mercury brings us deep insight when it opposes Pluto just after midnight. This will be felt late Saturday and in our dreams overnight. Journaling and recording our dreams will support our ability to use the rich experiences that come now. Drive a tank through the supermarket window, then brake your nails playing rotting clavichords, then hurl a series of ellipsoid bannister-mounts against the schoolhouse wall.
MONDAY JUNE 28
A harmonious Moon trine to Saturn embeds a productive energy into our psyche for use in the coming day, the final lunar aspect before its void period starts at 2:56 am. This lasts until 5:52 am with its entry into airy Aquarius. Aquarius represents, on the level of the first octave, the period between 12 weeks to 28 weeks after Conception, when the electrick nervous system of the fetus switches on. On the level of the fourth octave (see Chapter 9 of the Meteversal Lightcraft Training Manual for more on the Four Octaves), Aquarius represents the higher Self projecting itself to the world tribe, through media, groups, circles of friends (your Tribe) and utopian aims and idealistic pursuits alter the prevailing social systems. On the World scale, Aquarius occupies the period between AD 1840 and 1910. This was the time when the established dominance of the material world in Capricorn quickly required more sophisticated planning, spurred by Schopenhauer, ideas and beliefs from the east began flooding the West through such diverse channels as the Theosophical Society, the Golden Dawn, and the operas of Wagner. This was the time of Croweley, Nietzsche, and the early works of Freud. With the Moon in Aquarius we have the ability to combine East and West, Light and Dark, Sun and Moon. This is where we are compelled to reach out to others and network. Sextiles to Uranus and Jupiter support our ability to assimilate the rapid flow of energies and experiences of the past week. Mercury conjoins the Sun to mark the halfway point in their 122-day cycle of interaction. This brings acute awareness of the most profound factors affecting our life and direction, the capstone to the eclipse experience that began last week.

JUNE 15th to JUNE 21st (Summer Solstice)
TUESDAY JUNE 15
As the Moon continues in Leo, it brings mental understanding and clear communications through a sextile to Mercury. This is a good day for making connections and agreements. This is augmented by Venus’s fire trine to Jupiter and Mars’s earth trine to Pluto. Fire and earth combine to create productivity and accomplishment. This can be expressed in all areas of life, but will be especially fruitful in relationships and business activities.
WEDNESDAY JUNE 16
The Day breaks with the Moon in Leo…the King: long live the, kill the,...etc. The Lion-serpent sun sign, the power of Will, the quest for authenticity. Leo represents the period of development when as children we begin primary school, which is the first detachment from the family structure, where we learn to make relationships and satisfy the need to be loved in the world. Games provide a way to relate to others and they teach us to at Scale, Leo is between 3,000 to 800 BC when both the Egyptian and Sumerian civilizations flourished, when religion became monotheistic, where one being represented or was, God on Earth. The Time of Pharaohs and Kings, Lion images proliferated in architecture and monuments, for the Lion is of course, King of Beasts. With so much happening in Leo we may be seeking romance with a flare for the dramatic. The electric Sun itself, Leo calls on each of you to shine your light, your singular essence. it is not a day for stumbling across lawns with a pitchfork in your back. Nevertheless, you may wish to take advantage of a claustrophilic Scorpio colleague's invitation to lunch. Today’s contacts are limited to two late-day lunar contacts. A sextile to the Sun allows us to build on what we seeded on the New Moon four days ago. Look for openings and invitations. At 8:24 pm the Moon goes into its void period as it opposes Neptune. This opens the door to imagination and spiritual insight. Let your consciousness roam unfettered by judgment to take best advantage of this energy. The Moon re-engages with life when it enters service-oriented Virgo at 10:41 pm. No one else has seen through your fingertips, felt through your eyes, lived in your skin. The Metaverse is very aware that many of you are very weary and discouraged with this mission. From your current perception, we know it looks pretty bleak down there. To watch world systems in decay, ambulatory insanity at the helm, denial on a rampage, humanity down each other’s throats, and a dying biosphere is probably not your idea of a good time. Try to remember that though you may be vastly outnumbered on this planet, you belong to a greater family that is by far in the majority of the remainder of the Metaverse. Align with your heritage, remember your birthright, and be certain of your destiny. You are children of the stars, sired by light, and your reality is the superior one. The damage and corruption you see around you is just the ending choreography of the old world’s last dance, and the promised reclamation of this planet is but the final manifestation of a campaign that has already been won.
THURSDAY JUNE 17
Just after midnight, the Moon reaches an opposition to Chiron, bringing up residual effects of our Mercury-Mars-Chiron experiences of last week. This could involve healing physical injuries or wounded emotions (more likely to be felt Wednesday evening)—be gentle with yourself. Overnight, our dreams carry symbols from our deepest unconscious realms as Moon trines Pluto and conjoins Mars. Pay attention to gain powerful insights. Throughout the day, the Moon moves into a square to Mercury: We may feel scattered if we try to push the river. If you are disorganized, take some time to clear things out mentally, emotionally, and physically. Plan for interruptions and for your activities to take longer than you think—it will be easier to feel the flow.
FRIDAY JUNE 18
Love is like a butterfly. Hold it too tight and you'll crush it. Hold it too loose and it'll end up fucking your best friend.
The waxing Moon reaches its First Quarter square to the Sun at 27°49′ Virgo/9:29 pm, the first contact of the day. This is very close to the time of a Sun-Saturn square, so this is the most powerful imprint on the coming week, with the Moon conjunct Saturn. We’ll be playing out the urge (and need) to work hard to accomplish long-term goals. We get a little relief from the dominant pattern of the past few months since Jupiter and Uranus have moved on to Aries, the cardinal “room” of the Zodiac, so there’s a separation of energies and consciousness to help us work on one thing at a time. We’ll be productive now but stressed out if we allow ourselves to feel driven by the prevailing sense of urgency. The Moon enters its void period at 10:04 pm, which lasts until 1:13 am tomorrow. In the chart cast for Washington DC, Mars and Mercury are angular and highlighted, suggesting the logistical support of foreign nations and organizations in dealing with the Gulf oil spill. There is good news in that it is a unifying event, but bad news in the environmental damage that is being done. President Obama is taking a firm leadership role in the process, changing course as he learns more about what is going on and what can/must be done to heal this wound to the planet. The Sabian Symbol for the First Quarter Moon at 28 Virgo is, “A bald-headed man in uniform completely dominates an assembly of men: diplomats, scientists, and industrialists.” [ME Jones version] This brings to mind the gathering of people that is required to resolve and heal the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, and the unification that is occurring because of it. The single most important thing we must do as a species now is to be of one mind regarding the best way to heal Planet Earth of the wounds we have inflicted on her. In our personal lives, meetings with others will be of benefit.
SATURNSDAY JUNE 19
At 1:13 am, the Moon enters balancing Libra and engages Uranus and Jupiter to bring us startling insights, whether through dreaming or waking state. When the Moon reaches Pluto in mid-morning, we connect the dots on a large and inspirational task that stretches out into our future. Use your insights to inspire not frighten you. The Moon in the relationship sign of Libra increasing our awareness of others and our desire for peace and sharpens our social and diplomatic skills. However, the need to objectify emotions can limit spontaneity and cause us to lose our way in our attempts to please people. Libra represents the period from 23 to 42 years old, when partnerships are made and balance is sought between others and oneself. On the World scale Libra is between 400 and 1100 AD, when division of the church and state took over, and the Dark Ages swept over Europe and Asia. The opposition is symbolic of the fact that in order to emerge from the unconscious, internal conflicts must be brought out into the light of day. Marriage was the primary process through which opposing countries where integrated into a whole. With the Moon in Libra we are aware of our communal relations, law, justice and balance. The 7th house (Libra) has been called the house of marriage. The key to the New Aeon of MA'AT is figuring out the new symbol for Libra, as the institution of marriage was originally designed as a tool by the Church to secure it's future domination. Those that cannot find this new symbol and perform these symbolic rites on themselves and their tribe, and the whole fabric of material being, will inherit only the blues, decay, and husks. Think more in terms of partnership and remember, your heart must be light as a feather. Take this time to be good to your Libra ruled kidneys. These amazing organs filter some 400-500 hundred gallons of blood a day. Lemons, beets, cranberry juice and cabbage and leafy vegetables are all healing to your kidneys. The Sun’s square to Saturn finally signals a culmination in our work efforts as we complete tasks with a deadline of late July. A Moon sextile to Venus sweetens the day with the support and camaraderie of friends; the evening finishes on an peaceful and idealistic note as the Sun trines Neptune.
SUNDAY JUNE 20
The Moon finds nothing but harmony all day as it makes a harmonious hook-up with Mercury at midday. The Moon in Libra transmitts the mysteries of balanced relationships. We live in a culture that promotes certain pictures of romantic ideals that suggest completion through relationship. This has promoted the epidemic of co-dependent relationships that rarely last in a healthy over time. The most important relationship we will ever had is the one with ourself. Do we like who we are. The Moon in Libra asks of thee: "Who will set you free?" If you answered "I Will" then you have the opportunity today to shine some light into the very heart of your dream today.Your mind will be clear and focused, your head and heart in synchrony, with a desire to share a spirit of joy and playfulness with others.
MONDAY JUNE 21
The Moon makes its final contact in Libra when it trines Neptune at 2:45 am to vivify our dreams. The resulting void-of-course lasts until 5:14 am when the Moon enters mysterious Scorpio. Moon in Scorpio is an opportunity for stripping the comfortable half-truths from our lives, seeing them and ourselves as we really are. What keeps you from fulfilling the goals you set? What is your real desire in these matters? It matters less what your truth is than that you see it. If you’ve been half-heartedly working at reducing debt, losing weight, improving your relationships - whatever - the point Moon in Scorpio is not so much that you achieve the goal but that you fearlessly own the reasons you haven’t yet done so. Once your recognize them, you can move forward - or not - with strength since there is nothing to hide, no secrets to keep even from self. This requires courage, for society smiles on the courteous lies, the soothing stories we make up for ourselves. We may comfort ourselves with murmurs of “I’m doing the best I can...” but Scorpio’s clear vision is not fooled. Take another look at the plans you have for implementing the goals and beginnings you considered at the New Moon. Are there beliefs, fears, or conflicting goals to be addressed before you can successfully achieve the goals you desire? The dormitory of friable little girls puts the odious box right. Scorpio understands that true strength lies in seeing the truth. When there is nothing to hide, we have true freedom. Knowing what we truly want, believe, and fear gives us the understanding we need to make meaningful changes in our lives. By taking the time to do a little self-work, we can bring the success we desire into reality more quickly. Now that’s power! Before it rises At 4:30 am, the Sun enters Cancer, marking the Summer Solstice (“sun station”), the longest day, and the ceremony of Litha (among others). This is the time to bring our winter’s dreams into fruition. The Sun lights up all the other planets in cardinal signs—Uranus and Jupiter in Aries, and Pluto in Capricorn, with the electrifying square to Uranus occurring today. Our awakenings start now! The Scorpio Moon finds harmony with Chiron, the Sun, Pluto, and Mars to bring healing, effectiveness, and efficiency to our efforts. An evening square to Venus suggests that an evening alone is more appealing than social contact; it gives us time to integrate what we’re learning after a very active day.

June 11th-14th: including the New Moon on the 12th
FRIDAY JUNE 11
Tensions ease as Mercury completes its T-square to Mars and Chiron and moves beyond their positions, after a big morning release of energy. The Moon encounters nothing but empty sky as it travels the mid-degrees of Gemini. Understanding how the corporal mind can have knowledge of the future is not so easily seen in the continuous creation/destruction model of universe. As the mind functions at such a low level of vibration relative (30 to 60 ‘frames’ of reality per second), and noting that there is NOT a solid thing in universe, including the perceiving human brain, and that all in universe is actually vibration, it can be noted that as reality creates itself, it will ALWAYS be creating itself ‘ahead’ of the mental abilities of those beings within material reality. Stated another way, since your mind is consuming time in cogitation about reality, it is doing so ‘behind’ the actual creation of the reality it contemplates. Therefore the mind doing the perceiving of reality is always operating behind the creation/destruction of reality, and so to speak, is operating as a memory, rather than a really instant expression of the now. Thus reality is ever so slightly ‘ahead’ in creating/destroying itself, and thus the ‘mind’ of those experiencing time, is vibrating at a slower level than the passage of time. Thus the lag time in mental processing means that the ‘future’ is being created now, while we are really perceiving the ‘now’ as memories. In this understanding then, and noting that our bodies and minds are actually standing and dynamic vibration fields, vibrating in sync with universe, it becomes understandable that as creation/destruction occurs, it will necessarily affect or impact some of the waves/fields that compose those of us experiencing time. Therefore, ever so slightly ‘ahead’ of our ability to process it, is knowledge of the future just created. This is one level of knowledge about the future, but continuous creation/destruction model allows for others. To provide a crude example for greater clarity, consider the sun. It takes an apparent 8.56 minutes for light to travel from the sun and reach earth. IF the sun were to explode now, or turn green now, your senses would not pick up that information for 8.56 minutes. Thus, in a real sense, you would be dead or green for a full 8.56 minutes without realizing it.
SATURDAY JUNE 12
If yesterday’s events list was short, today makes up for it. We start with the New Moon at 4:15 am/21°24′ Gemini. Venus opens up the possibility of smoothing out relationship issues based on a realistic assessment of our own limits. A Moon square to Saturn soon after suggests that this is not welcomed by others, but it is necessary. At 4:35 pm, the Moon finishes its productive period in Gemini when it trines Neptune and goes void of course. This lasts until 6:50 pm with its entry into nurturing Cancer. We are reminded of our emotional needs, perhaps feeling fear of the future as Moon squares Uranus-Jupiter in the evening, although a harmonious trine to Chiron introduces soothing emotional energies, perhaps the support of a loved one. Remembering that we have support of others in our “tribe” will help us balance emotion against reality. The New Moon brings insights from the creative side of our nature, which we will be able to use to take the next big step on path, as will be revealed to us on the Lunar Eclipse of the 26th. Inconvenient truths will emerge in the coming two weeks, but they will lead us to harmony.
At 22 Gemini, the Sabian symbol of the New Moon is, “An old-fashioned harvest home festival is at its height with dancing couples flashing [by] crowding the barn floor.” [ME Jones version] There is cause to celebrate; we have come through a passage of consciousness and have begun to see inner reality manifest as real-world events in a favorable way. Regardless of our circumstances, we know that all is well on a core level, that we are being guided, and that we are meant to enjoy life and camaraderie of others.
SUNDAY JUNE 13
When the somnambulant mob awakes in disgrace and disperses through the otherwise deserted streets as your dog passes by overhead in a low-flying plane, rest assured it’s just the Moon transiting early Cancer, making contacts with Mars and Pluto as we dream, infusing our consciousness with powerful insights that will emerge from our unconscious as compulsions to act in unaccustomed ways. The secret phenomenological truth, encrypted against corruption at your birth but now transmitted lucidly across every synapse, is that the World is determined by imaginative volition. Now that this has been revealed, your purpose is clear. You might as well get used to it: YOU ARE A GLORIOUS NEW REALITY.
MONDAY JUNE 14
At 1:50 am, Venus enters generous Leo and immediately finds harmony with Uranus and Jupiter, lighting the fires of passion in our relationships and inspiring us with warmth and optimism. The Moon gives us a day of maximum productivity as it moves into a trine with Saturn before its (still useful) void period starts at 5:38 pm. It reiterates the joy of Venus’s connections to Uranus and Jupiter when it enters Leo at 8:54 pm, bringing integration of this fiery energy into all parts of our consciousness and infusing our actions with confidence. Only then will the dragonflies venture to mate on your scalp. Only then will the provisional gods you’ve held behind plexiglas step forth with new recipes for meringue soufflé, and heaven knows what other wonders. Tear down the pyramids and let whales dine on the mummies of kings! Everything must go.

3 Days in June: 8, 9,10
TUESDAY 6-8
It would be easier for a rubythroated hummingbird to unscrew the lid of a
ketchup bottle than it would be to not notice three significant planetary events that have been building and are now fully activated in our lives: Jupiter finally reaches Uranus to makes their conjunction at 4:25 am/0°18′ Aries. This conjunction occurs every 13 years, the last in 1997, in Aquarius. This initiates a cycle of innovation and invention, especially focused in dealing with crises and emergency situations on this cycle. Pretty damned appropriate wouldn’t you say? Mars opposes Chiron today increasing our awareness of what needs healing in our lives, which we should approach by working with both spiritual and physical techniques. A trine from Mercury to Saturn makes our mind coherent and suggests practical solutions to issues that are on our minds now. This foundation we can use like cooling lava which even now fills the mould of this exalted collective spiraltechnic thoughtform. The Moon sextiles Neptune at 6:13 am before going void of course in Aries. This lasts until it enters Taurus at 8:41 am, when the Moon immediately creates an opportunity sextile with Chiron. Use this energy to get in further touch with your sense of wholeness. This leads into an Earth grand trine with Mars and Pluto that is perfected over the day. What changes do you need to make? Start them now! On the World stage the drama is tense… Who can look at pictures of oil soaked birds and not be moved to tears..and anger… See BP adding toxic chemical death into the mix (to hide the body of the victim from public view), hear the accounts of peace activists who’s fellow humanitarian aid workers where executed at sea by Israeli Zionist Pirates (with Nukes) who amongst us is not moved by this spectacle of sheer abject Terror? But, my fellow Immortals, this is nothing less than a collective Global Psycho-Spiritual Death-Rebirth Process (IAO) which we as a species must undergo in order that we might fulfill all of the prophesies in a way nobody could have foreseen and be reborn as One. Whatever calls you from outside the curtain can wait. You’re here now, and ready at last to open your eyes. When you do, you’ll see that Time is a soft jagged wave moving through you. Times are changing, and global awareness (actually, a large morphic field) is gradually being heightened. The real question is, how fast? The way to put one's shoulder to the wheel is to add one's own strong and optimistic intention to the concept of the positive outcome. And like all such mental or spiritual gymnastics, this has to be real: it cannot be faked.
WEDNESDAY 6 9
It’s all about Mercury today, as our planet of communication and intellect squares Neptune before entering Gemini at 10:41 pm. This sentence is communicable and may be transmitted orally, or in Braille, through photic projection and similar forms of reproduction, via the print medium, telepathically or by means not yet imagined. The Neptune square makes us aware of a confusing situation that we need to clarify—and wait until we reach clarity before taking action. This sentence may be used to rouse someone from a deep slumber if spoken loudly enough – optimal volume will vary according to proximity of speaker to subject (and density of the sleepstate). Mercury of course, gave us letters, letters that make words, words that form sentences, sentences that express ideas, ideas that describe systems, and hey, language is a system. This sentence has a fixed meaning that does not change, whether spoken in a catacomb or spoken in a control tower. The Moon continues its sojourn through Taurus, and in Taurus these days it’s more Pasture, less bullshit. Unless of course, you’re a spokesman for British Petroleum. This sentence should not be taken literally by pregnant women, or laterally by dyslexics.
THURSDAY 6 10
With Mercury now in Gemini, it sets up a T-square with Mars-opposite-Chiron to bring a more acute awareness of what we need to do in order to heal our lives. Be careful if you have placements in early mutable signs—accidents and injuries can result from overly vigorous actions now and through the 11th. Easy does it! This is eased as Mercury sextiles both Uranus and Jupiter. The Moon takes us on a roller coaster journey today as it sextiles Venus and trines Saturn before noon, then squares Neptune to bring out conflicting motivations in the way we approach upcoming challenges, just in time for the Moon’s void period at 12:51 pm. This lasts until 3:11 pm (although we can still use this time actively), when she enters lively Gemini. Immediately we get inspiration from sextiles to Uranus and Jupiter, and a conjunction to Mercury repeats Mercury’s earlier contacts. An evening Moon square to Mars reminds us that caution is still needed where we want to exercise force and haste. For I say unto you: it would be easier for a wolverine to assassinate the pope using a slingshot loaded with overcooked lima beans than it would be to miss the signs of the immanetizing eschaton, the Planetary mind is about to wake
up,you can feel it!

Daily Forecast: June 1st to June 7th
(Except as otherwise noted, all interpretations here are based on a natural chart, using the beginning of Aries as the ascendant, and times listed are Pacific Standard Time. A “Void Moon” or “Void of Course Moon” (or “VOC moon” for short) makes no significant aspects until it enters the next sign. Its void period is thought to be a poor time for starting new projects or making concerted effort toward existing plans.
Daily Astrological Forecast
TUESDAY JUNE 1
The month commences with Moon in Aquarius and a flowing trine to the Sun filling our day. This was the time of Crowley, Nietzsce, and the early works of Freud. With the Moon in Aquarius we have the ability to combine East and West, Light and Dark, Sun and Moon. This is where we are compelled to reach out to others and network
Animals love this day. They’re thrilled about it. They’ll romp and squeal and butt their horns and roll on their bellies like there's no tomorrow. But mostly they’ll just amble along in quiet amazement at their own pure satisfaction.
WEDNESDAY JUNE 2
The Aquarius Moon encounters Mercury by square at midday, revealing a dissonance that needs to be resolved. Crank your elfin motors and sidestep a dimensional voom. Take care of the details; communication will flow better as the shadows grow long. Add a few extra syllables to lots of verbs you utter today, e.g. enscrubulify, intellarialectualizate, disunstrangulatize.
THURSDAY JUNE 3
Discord rumbling under the surface leaps into view when the Moon reaches Mars as it is about to oppose Neptune. This brings up a situation (today and tomorrow) that we thought was going to arise in November, but it never did—and a whole lot of complications came up to nearly erase it from our minds. Now it’s time to resolve the matter, and we have a whole new perspective on what to do. We are being guided. Establish a rococo nerve lattice among the quarantined survivors of Operation: Rapture. The Moon enters its void-of-course period at 7:56 am, giving us some time to be lazy or get caught up, until 10:33 am when it enters imaginative Pisces. Its first encounter is with healer Chiron, cluing us into what most needs healing in order to experience unity consciousness. An evening sextile with Pluto opens the door to new understanding of what’s really happening in the invisible realms affecting our lives. with the Moon in Pisces. You may hear the foghorns of ghostships. You may see, through crystal windows, gigantic manta rays surging through primordial waves in a sea blasted by silent lightning. The beneficial effects of the Piscean hormone melatonin have been part of the health supplement scene for some time, for high melatonin production is known to be synonymous with a high immune system, a low cancer risk, long life, energy, stamina, and according to many, enhanced spiritual awareness. Perhaps it is fitting then that this hormone is secreted by the pineal gland, a mysterious little item long believed by mystics to be the "Seat of the Soul," "Me Third Eye," and the organ through which psychic powers are exercised. In fact, it actually functions as an organ of sight in some reptiles, and it still seems to possess some sensitivity to light in higher mammals, since melatonin production increases when the person is exposed to darkness (thus melatonin means "night worker!") High melatonin production thereby increases the facility for receiving and transmitting high-frequency cosmic and local broadcasts, and leads to a greater state of cosmic awareness - a state simply of ’knowing.’ In this regard, it is interesting to note that the Pineal Third Eye has been found to contain very fine granular particles, rather like the crystals in a wireless receiving set. Many magical rites and meditation techniques are aimed at gaining control of this organ and the fluid it produces: Veering at the mercy of decadent thighs, In billowing abandonment, A serpent dancing on the coy derrière, A baton in the bawdy dunes
Lacework nerve-cathedrals of confounding microcircuitous elegance, fabulously vivid and animated beyond belief.
Friday June 4
As Mars opposes Neptune, we remember where we were last fall in consciousness and direction, and we see how far we’ve come. What a transformation! We could never have imagined in our wildest dreams that we would be where we are now. The things we thought we wanted then are no longer in the frame, or they are significantly changed. Today we have the chance to further commit ourselves to fulfilling our inner truth, as Mars pierces the veil of appearances and we get a glimpse of the divine matrix (Neptune). In world affairs, the oil spill in the Gulf is foremost in collective awareness. This tragedy is teaching us the power of human action on the Earth, through a situation that could be far worse than it is. Chiron comes to a standstill at 0:04 am/0°59′ today, ready to begin its five-month retrograde period. By observing our experiences now, we can discern what we will be learning during this time. The moon, she is in the sign of fishes. Sobbing and laughing from the fjord to the funhouse, and makes a solo contact today, the Last Quarter square to the Sun at 3:13 pm/14°11′ Pisces. This contact opens a problem-solving period for all of us as it pertains to the “unsolvable” problems in our lives. By turning them over to the creative force of the universe (then remaining alert to guidance), we will find our way through our dilemmas. The Last Quarter Moon at 15 Pisces presents us with the Sabian symbol, “An officer in unkempt uniform is preparing to drill men dressed in military tops quite worn for wear.” This suggests the hard-working individuals of all skills and paths who are working on the oil spill, from the military to the employees of BP to corporate leaders to government officials. The spirit of cooperation that is developing is creating a sincere coalition to shift human consciousness about the destructive power of our energy habits.
SATURDAY JUNE 5
Today is chock full of lunar events, as the Moon reaches the late degrees of Pisces, where it contacts the planets arrayed in this zone. We start with a wee-hour trine to Venus to sweeten our dreams with harmonious social encounters. Our consciousness is sharp as the Moon sextiles Mercury at breakfast time, preparing us for a day of deep awareness emerging into our lives when Saturn, Jupiter, and Uranus are contacted. The Moon goes void of course at 10:49 pm, to tease us before it enters Aries at 10:50 pm. At 11:29 pm, Jupiter enters Aries to give the cardinal signs a boost, energize the fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius), and charge up our entrepreneurship and pioneering spirit. Jupiter’s quest for meaning and purpose in the Aries domain operates through an inspired leap of faith into what is just and true. The last time Jupiter entered Aries when Uranus was also in early degrees of Aries was on June 6, 1927. At that time, Pluto was near the mid-degrees of Cancer (somewhat opposite of where Pluto is now around 4 degrees of Capricorn). Saturn entered Capricorn on March 15, 1929 with Uranus at 6 Aries and Pluto at 16 Cancer. Plus the North Node was in Cancer and the South Node was in Capricorn in early degrees opposite of where the Nodes are now. This was a time when a cascade of events led to the chaos of the Great Depression and World War II creating a major collective assemblage point shift in beliefs and ways of experiencing the world. Once again, we have the same planets gathering in similar ways coming back together in the Householder Signs (a.k.a the cardinal signs) and we already are seeing signs of economic collapse and environmental disasters designed to wake us up and move us to take an inspired leap of faith - to act on what we feel is ours to do in supporting the changes that bring us back into balance with the Earth and each other. Staying asleep, pretending this isn’t happening, only assures the dramatic events will intensify. Uranus will produce whatever events are necessary to create an assemblage point shift. These usually occur as events beyond our control and are intended to assure change. We must make different choices about how we live with each other and the planet or these events will continue to intensify. Our conscious participation now is more important than ever because if we are not taking action that is part of the solution we are contributing to the problem and the coming changes will be more difficult. For example, our entire global economy is built on elaborate illusions and those bubbles are continuing to burst. For those who are invested in the current economy and keeping it afloat this will be a difficult and painful transitional time. For those who are willing to explore innovative ways to live sustainably and create sound economic prosperity for all, this transition is most welcome and long overdue
SUNDAY JUNE 6
We feel restless with new insight as the Moon in Aries squares Pluto early in the day, her only contact until tomorrow. Moon in Aries today means we are likely to be spontaneous and excitable. We may be prone to irritation at times. Aries represents the period from birth to seven months old, when as new borns, we experience everything as an extension of ourselves. Virtually all energy is devoted to having our needs met. On the World scale, Aries is between 48,000 BC and 26,000 BC, when the primitive Neanderthals were trounced upon by Cro-magnons. They were virtually identical to modern Homo Sapiens, yet anthropologists do not know from whence they came. Mars in Aries and the Aries Moon can be so enthused with their own adventure that it might seem a little arrogant. Don't take it personally. Mars (finally!) enters Virgo to bring a steadier energy of industriousness into our lives. We want to work, work, work—not for its own sake—but because we have a goal in mind. It’s all part of what we must do to fulfill the bigger purpose we feel pulled toward, and we feel a sense of urgency in clearing our path as Mars makes its way through Virgo in the next seven weeks.
MONDAY JUNE 7
Our Aries Moon brings confidence and social connection to our morning as it sextiles the Sun, but an evening square to Venus suggests that others may need some quiet time for “mood-adjustment” when we get home. Give them some space. If you’ve elected to forego swallowing the gravity pill today, you can take part in the holographic cherub hunt – but mind you don’t bruise your fellow prisoners! At this point a viscous orange liquid (it doesn’t stain) will likely be pumped into the atmosherep, pint by pint, until it’s all gone. Take as many pictures as you like. Feel free to speak candidly to those in hibernation – it won’t disturb them. Try out the suction pads! And if you’re going to be sick or have to tinkle ... well, we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it.

TUESDAY JUNE 1

Metaversal Sun Signs for June 2010
Aries
RECENTLY, the truth came running to you like the last albino dacshund bolting out of the catacombs into your arms. What did you do with it? Do you still have it? While many complain that the truth is not knowable, or is a philosophical concept and not a provable reality, our problem involves how we respond once we encounter it. A peculiar function of the mind, known as denial, makes sure that we are usually out of contact with our most vital knowledge. You can afford no such luxury at this point. The reason for this is that you are gathering too much power to cut yourself off from your personal truth, or any other truth. Much of the past decade has taken you on a prolonged journey where you have seen many strange things, encountered a world bigger than you ever imagined, and endured several difficult tests of your mettle. You have wrestled with your conscience (and, likely, that of someone else). At times, you have prevailed in these tests of integrity and at other times, events have seemed to crush your preconceived ideas. You are now in a well-deserved phase of reconsidering what you have been through, and the decisions you make through the winter will be absolutely essential in determining your life path for an entire long phase of your life. So tell me, now that you know this, can you afford to play any games with what you know? I don't think so, particularly not since all the forces of the Metaverse are conspiring to focus your power. The whole problem with power in this world is that it does not care much for the difference between right and wrong. Most people in a position to conduct themselves this way -- and to some extent, that includes anyone privileged enough to be reading this horoscope -- have granted themselves an exemption from karma. You have no such luxury now, and neither do you want it. You have responsibilities that are much more worthwhile.
Taurus
YOU MAY NOT see it now, but your current priority is on survival when what you need to be doing is experimenting with defining yourself openly -- very openly. It's possible, and plausable, and I want you to keep it in mind like a chance encounter between cotton candy and a freight train on a flight of spiral stairs. There is no viable meeting between exploring your identity and creative expression in the community, and concealing yourself or struggling to survive. Curiosity is not possible in a state of desperation or of hiding -- and while you may or may not feel desperate, you have an exaggerated sense of what is happening to you and what can go wrong. Them's some mighty fine meatballs in that pastaThey bounce jubilantly like children with superballs installed in their feet This is little more than fear of the unknown, except what is supposedly so unknown is something about you, and that is a kind of paradox. Can you really not know something about yourself? Well, you can think it's possible, and if so, you can set up a smokescreen between you and your self-awareness. Yet even given that basic factor, you have at least two choices: delve in bravely and with a sense of exploring (which means, yourself and the world) or pull away and hide inside your shell. You may ask what 'the world' has to do with this, but if astrology means anything, your process of self-definition is intimately mingled with the society you inhabit; with the people you share creative energy amongst; with your mission in life, as you define it; and most of all, with the patterns that dominate your life. To get anywhere, you need to define those patterns yourself, and to do that, you need to witness the current ones for what they are. One of your greatest liabilities is that you are a creature of habit. If you are going to develop one dependable fixed pattern, let it be that of constantly changing your fixed patterns. That you did something a certain way yesterday is no reason to do it that way today. Night goggles for the fancy-dress, for a two bit brother, his brat dog and a caustic shot, aimless on the back of the neck. Face it: today is a lot more interesting than yesterday was, and tomorrow holds potential you can barely dream of now, but would do well to dare.
Gemini
THIS BUSINESS of Gemini and dualism -- it's getting old. I'm not sure who has convinced us all, particularly we the supposedly intellectual ones, that 'the world is dualistic.' Somebody did. Yet however many viewpoints, people or concepts of ourselves we encounter or possess, it seems to be a heck of a lot more than two. The only actual dualism that exists, as far as I can see it, is based exclusively on seeing oneself as separate from others (and that may be all it takes). Pretend you can breathe even if you have a butternut squash shoved down your wind pipe.True, it helps not at all that so many people insist with such passion that they are separate from us (greed is a significant influence here), that they have different interests, and most of all, that they have different ideas that typically turn out to be the lack of ideas. That being said, how you get along with yourself is a critical question at this point. You still tend to project your inner differences onto others, and lately there has been a lot to project. That, at least, provides an organizing principle; you can use this frail concept of dualism to define 'in here' (my own) and 'out there' (their stuff). If you were to do something else, you would need to plunge into your inner chaos and manage to find your voice in the midst of it. You would need to puncture the many imaginary membranes that seem to separate your interior consciousness from itself. And before long, those inner barriers will go down like Japanese paper walls. Admittedly, you may not feel inclined to admit much, and may feel pinned down by how supremely powerful others seem to be. Remember: that, too, is a projection. All these people you know and encounter and the ones who seem so remote and influential: they are part of you, just like your fingers and toes. You can do everyone a favor by treating them that way. They want to be counted as part of you as much as you need them to be so.
Cancer
THE FUNNY THING about you is, you move in cycles, but the cycles are predictable, and you keep coming around to the same basic place of honoring your commitments. It took you a while to learn to trust yourself in this process: to mean it when you say, I'll be back in the future to take care of this; this is what I intend to get done by this date, or whatever the commitment may entail. The breakthrough came when you discovered that your track record supported the meaning of your words, rather than the words being a promise of speculated future action. If those who doubt you knew how seriously you take your commitments, they would be compelled to question their own integrity, and rightly so. The issue with the world right now is that despite much talk about walking one's talk, most people don't vaguely question their integrity except for the occasional panic attack; and that does not qualify as a thoughtful review. There is a do-or-die feeling to your sense of truth and justice right now. This is less about an obligation and more about a sacred trust you have with the universe. While you don't want to send out a press release saying that you are the arbiter of cosmic obligation, you must have figured out that you get yourself into that role all the time, and by the time five o'clock rolls around everyone has done pretty well. So, own this power and put it to work -- and make sure it works for you, too. Your second breakthrough has been about defining yourself as someone who has given up their prior concept of limits. This does not happen overnight, but you are seeing that your prior ceiling made of transparent aluminum is now more like the clear sky. Once again, this is not a matter of speculation, but rather of experience. And what it boils down to is that for you, the world is a very different place.
Leo
TO THE EXTENT you can, you need to choose the course your life is taking as a conscious act. In the Western world, this is the only path to enlightenment. We are faced with options; our one remaining power is to make decisions. Believe it or not, those decisions are most often choices between what is true and what is not. Life does not always seem this simple, and I doubt it seems so simple for you right now, but that is the nature of the moment you are in. Your great lesson the next four seasons is discernment. Surely, in hindsight long after this year has passed, what was worth believing and what was not will seem obvious. In any event, you have learned something in recent years, which is that you can influence the course of your own existence. You have an edge on those who typically refuse to do this, which is that you are willing to take full responsibilities for your successes as well as your errors. This is one of a very few qualities that distinguishes a mature person. Another is the ability to make decisions based on your values. If you consider your values carefully, you will notice that you actually don't have very many of them. You also don't need very many of them. Yet the ability to understand yourself and make your decisions based on an authentic sense of what matters to you is one of the highest expressions of humanity. You can be sure when the values of others will seem to warp the ground you stand on, and at such times you will need to be flexible but scrupulously honest with yourself about what matters most. You will need to look at the influences of those who say they are here to help you, and see them for what they are. They may indeed be helpful; they may be something else -- you are the one who will need to notice the difference.
Virgo
A partner may help to open your mind to new perspectives. Your work situation undergoes unforeseen changes which help you to establish financial security. Full Moon can bring fulfillment of a practical venture. As busy as things may get, don't forget to set aside a sizeable chunk of time this month to enjoy the complex pleasures in life Rest assured: the voluptuous terror you feel swiftly gives way to splendour. Suddenly you’re more awake than you’ve been since retiring from the womb.. . All the little elfin figurines have been drugged. Crack them open and spread the dusty paste over your chosen charkas To the extent that you understand that authority is something we embody or we don't grow, you will be granted enormous assistance in taking on your true role in the world. In doing so, we take away the authority that others seem to hold over us, whoever they may be. In ordering our lives, we liberate the energy we need to persist in our creative work and our service to the world. You are, by nature, a sober and sensible individual. You understand that life is an opportunity and a profound responsibility, only magnified by our commitments to others. There they go, the bluefrocked ghosts, out into the night of rain. Your mind is working overtime, but something stored deep in your unconscious is blocking clarity. Inner work on old issues can show results by mid-June.
Libra
FEW PEOPLE truly want to face their fears. Fewer yet want to face themselves. The planets are pushing you to do both. Not only will you be a better person for it, you will feel better and live with a greater sense of connection to your own existence, and to all these people who surround you: those whose names you know and those you do not. The whole problem with your fears is that they are so detailed. This detail gives them a sense of reality that they might not otherwise have. What this season of your life is trying to teach you is that you are bigger than your anxieties and, as such, they are like pictures you draw rather than lions who can eat you. The ability to see this distinction is not learned in a day. Most people live like they are being chased down the street by a pack of wild dogs. But there are those points of breakthrough, and you are in one right now. Part of the process involves acquiring mental discipline that is not, frankly, a skill that's rewarded and barely even noticed in our current moment of collective psychic chaos. When you express yourself in a daring way, you will take the pressure off of yourself. The hottest focus of your chart these days is on the sign Aquarius, the most creative house in your horoscope, and the place you go when you feel like a genius. This you do from time to time, but the paradox is as follows. To tap into your brilliance, that true light that comes from beyond you, you need to soak yourself in your struggle. You need to feel and live through the extent to which your revelations are the result of your pain, your sense of not belonging, and most of all, your craving for the passion that you have not yet experienced. At least in recent years, you have begun to move toward that hunger, rather than trying to satisfy yourself with a fantasy. Here is a clue. Give the darkness in you a voice that you own. Paint with the colors of your shadow. Feel the freedom in doing so, and listen to what others say to you when they respond. All in all, this is the miracle of healing.
Scorpio
YOU HAVE LONG felt different; what you must now do is act differently. I know -- you are still mulling that one over. Sometimes you take so long to think about things that you make your friends over in Taurus seem like a kid on Red Bull and rollerblades in the mall. I will concede that at the moment (early in the year) you are still working out all the negotiable points with someone close to you, and they seem to have a viewpoint that's difficult to pin down. You may be uncertain if someone close at hand is a friend or an enemy -- of themselves. If you've gotten that far in your observation process, you're living up to the psychological capabilities of your sign. That is precisely the issue: whether anyone who gets close to you is on their own side. The ones who are, you can work with; the ones who are not you must consider dangerous. Now, as you sort this out, you're going to come across a diversity of ways that you are divided against yourself, and that is indeed a great time to pause. Pause, that is, and consider this. You have been dragged over hot coals the past decade of your life trying to establish your independence, your autonomy or perhaps just a healthy self-sufficiency. Exactly what you were recovering from I cannot be sure, but God did not make you a Scorpio for nothing. Usually someone as strong as yourself is that way for a reason, and the reason can be found in early childhood. But it will show up again and again in your life. You developed the idea that you have to be sufficiently powerful (in particular, financially and spiritually) to withstand the extreme swings of loyalty that you were exposed to. Now that you have grown up and accomplished that, you are being put back into the position to cultivate mutual trust, a sense of community and a new lesson, that of interdependence. But this will all go a lot smoother if you remind yourself every moment that you must be committed to your own cause, and use that as the criteria for who you involve yourself with.

YOU HAVE the property of setting things into motion; you must accept that you may never see the results of any process you start. exotic and embroidered--nothing like Ohio which is default for mundane-anywhere, nothing like you dressed up in a blond wig, holding a spoon that you threaten you'll shove down your throat. Yet set things into motion you do, and you do it effectively: for good, or for ill. You have always known this, but the time has arrived to live as if it were true. If you are some kind of 'cause' in the process of cause and effect, keep the experience as conscious as possible, so that you can make choices while you have the opportunity to do so. See if you can notice the results, be they immediate or extended over time, and observe the vast constellations of forces that have come together in order to manifest anything. Look back and observe what you have inspired, facilitated or ignited and be grateful that some of it actually worked. See if you can make amends for that which did not work so well, or that which harmed anyone at all. Remember that you are only getting a small sample of what you could be seeing, but as the next four seasons progress, it will be more than enough to inform you as you make some radical revisions to your values system. There is something from the past, some old idea that you are dragging around, that is about to get torpedoed. As visionary as you are, there is an attribute of your values that could be described as antique. Now, it is true that anyone who is authentically a radical needs to have a strong footing in tradition. Yet it is also true that a tradition is not a tradition unless it is alive. The way things were done in the past is not an excuse for anything; the reason things were done in the past is an excuse for even less.

WE LIVE on a planet where people will kill one another for the right to kill a tree. We also live on a planet where people will give their last dollar, their only blanket or one of their kidneys to someone in need. Unfortunately, between the ordinary saints and the boring warmongers there exists a vast ocean of what you might call gray area, and I don't mean gray matter. This is the least common denominator, which (paraphrasing The Onion) is getting lower all the time. Look around at the world and notice how many people aspire to mediocrity. Heck, you've even done it yourself a few times. Enter Pluto into your birth sign. This has been warming up for two years as Pluto has been crossing the Galactic Core. That particular transit (which peaked in December) has put you into contact with a deeply hidden attribute of yourself: the one that is immune from all the limits and conventions of the world; the one that connects directly to Prime Source. Now you're aware of this it's no longer hiding down in a cave, but rather waiting in the wings for its moment on the Great Stage of your life. This is a transit that affects every living creature. We all have approximately one calendar year of the transition until the energy takes hold through 2024. This portends many, many changes for the world, including structural changes to society and the Earth herself (Edgar Cayce was onto this a while ago). For you, it means reaching to your depths and ripping forth into the community with all your energy. It means embodying the Shiva-like attributes of Pluto: becoming the embodiment of change itself. That is to say, by changing, you will set change in motion. By allowing yourself flexibility, you will create the same around you. By being willing to question yourself to the depths of your existence, you will hold open the space for the people around you to ask the questions that they need to ask. By being fair and insisting on fairness, you will create that pattern around you.
Aquarius
YOUR SIGN, like you, presents one of the most complex equations in all of astrology. That makes some sense: Aquarius is the sign of humanity itself. You see how complex you are, and how complex the human race is; you must live with yourself and the rest of us; the people who live with you coexist in a conscious way with your complexity. Let's skip for a moment the constellation of planets that has taken up long-term residence in your region of the sky. Let's consider a bit of theory: Aquarius is ruled by two planets considered vastly different by astrology -- Saturn, the planet of tradition and structure, and Uranus, the planet of revolution, innovation and upheaval. Even in ancient times before the discovery of Uranus, Aquarius was considered the sign representing places where minerals are quarried -- a place where old stuff was dug out of the ground to make something new; a place where what is ancient and natural is being made into something new at the hands of human industriousness. The planets now in your sign, mainly Chiron and Neptune, are taking you to extraordinarily deep places lately. Neptune has been raising a question; it has almost been negating your existence, making you feel like you are distant from yourself or granting you relief from having an ego. Chiron, which arrived more recently, is making it painfully clear that you are indeed a product of and partner in humanity. All your faults are magnified such that you can see the hairs on their nose. The injuries you have suffered in your life seem to be with you still, and you are aware that you can always get hurt again. But for some extremely odd reason, everything you have struggled with is becoming a source of strength and wisdom. Places that were once the scene of an ache or pain are now the place where you can grasp something heavy, carry a load with unusual strength, or express yourself in a way that was, for most of your life, impossible.
Pisces
IF YOU TELL yourself the truth, you can do just about anything else you want. That is the price you will have to pay in order to go to the next level or stage of your life; the price of freedom. This is a small tariff for some people, and the highest there is for others. Which is it for you? While you're sizing that up, you can also size up the price of any other way of living, and there are several options, to be sure. Of course, the real price of the truth is that which is not true. For some people that is no price at all; for others, it would represent the collapse of their entire existence, at least psychologically. Now, as a Pisces, you need your fantasies, and you need your dreams. But you need them in moderation, like any drug or substance (including art and music) that provides a pathway beyond the rational world. Yet what you need the most, if astrology means anything, is to break the partitions that separate your visions for your life -- and for the world -- from your simple desire to make them happen. It's like you typically get stuck right at the point where you can take something out into the world where it can do some good. You know what you create is worthy of attention and that it would be good for the world. You also know how hard it is to penetrate into that space where the past is not so heavy that it crushes or confines that which is new and seeking to take root and grow. Now, believe it or not (and I don't blame you if you don't, yet) you are about to see what kind of impact is possible, particularly where the stalwart structures of society need a little...shall we say...encouragement to update their files. Society can mean your friends, your family, your professional vision and most of all, your personal vision for how you will fit into the world. There is an extremely good reason you must be honest with yourself at every opportunity: you will be handling power that can be dangerous if you are not.
The June Terrain
The Forecast is prepared and written in luminous tiles across your retinas. May it shine forth upon all who meet your gaze. The words grow here slick and filthy and unhindered by enterprise.
There are more planetary events this month than in many months previous to this, although how much you are affected by them depends on contacts to your own chart and how you work with them. A tantrum in a tantric tremendum breathes new life into a squalid marriage consecrated by the usual mundanities. As the planets fan out from their conjunctions with the slow movers (Jupiter, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) earlier in the year, we see the “fates” that we humans have created with the opening of their yearly solar cycle. With Saturn now in direct, late-Virgo motion, June’s underlying theme is effective productivity, particularly in areas which are meant to bear fruit in a long run, involving others and/or the greater world. I can have you now by magick or drudgery. What we do/how we go about doing it also ultimately works best when motives are about accomplishment rather than self pleasuring, but this doesn’t mean we can’t have fun. Nor do you have to be “conservative” or fuddy-duddy about your aim or approach—far from it! Chickadees will fornicate with badgers. The trees will be raked of lizards nightly. With Uranus having just moving into the “I Am” sign of Aries gives us a June during which things are on the move and energy, focus and attitudes are shifting and in the din of inequity, we practiced telepathic Sirian holography for the surly droves. This is the Dominion of Tricks, the Realm of the Pranksters. This is where you let me ... no – you won’t even let me do that here, will you.
Do new parameters mean we have to rethink? Maybe. Will some of us resist? Absolutely—count on it! Forget-me-nots may be renamed what-the-hell-are-these-things. But when we consider that not only has Uranus moved out of emotional, fantasy-oriented, inspirational Pisces into the do-or-die (or at least be really ticked off!) sign of Aries, with June also being a pre-(solar) eclipse month…? This is a double dose of status quos beginning to break down. So resistance isn’t likely to work. July’s eclipse highlighting twists and turns of destiny, we can all expect a few shake ups and shake outs. So we can change with the times or be changed by the times—that’s the option!Skyscrapers will be renamed cloudsnaggers.
But let’s focus on June…the first few days of which are likely to bring adjustments and the recognizing of things unfinished and things that just need dealing with. The more we try to avoid, the harder life comes at us about these things; while you may be able to run away, don’t be surprised if that brings about some sudden crunch of (apparent) “fate”, that languor which envelops but never quite annihilates. For those willing to work through what shows up, there may be interruptions, discomforts, annoyances (maybe even an upset or two) but this isn’t about negatives: its feedback. Life is trying to teach us where we need to be more “solid” with/in ourselves. Why? Because the more internally connective and self-responding we are, the more we will get out of things soon to come. Somehow it seems a bit fascist, doesn’t it, this period I’m describing. But you have to admit it’s rather curious we’ve gone to all this trouble to construct from scratch a time that is not entirely idyllic: you’d think we might’ve attempted something more paradisaical, wouldn’t you. Why bother with the Oil spill? Why the dankness? Why such perverse adventure, such amorphousness, and nothing remotely orgiastic? Well, it’s partly because of budgetary constraints, I confess, but it’s also because we want this time to be alien even to our own imaginings. There are a lot of elements I haven’t told you about, and several I’m unaware of myself: the time is not strictly tame – it is, beyond a certain degree of artificial cultivation, self-generating. I suggest we leave it alone for a while, then see what its wild intelligence has bred. So if these days are stressful, try to focus not just on immediate feelings—ask yourself why you’re so reactive. That answer will be important to your ability to achieve goals going forward. Then we can establish a rococo nerve lattice among the quarantined survivors of Operation: Rapture, then we can stamp down a huge and perfect Mandelbrot Set with our ding-a-lings in popular wheatfields, or even feed raspberries to carp. (I’ve just been informed when Carp are fed raspberries they throw them up, so cancel that last one. Thanks Lynn!)
Pluto continues to brings its culmination to us in the summer, and we experience that on June 25–27, when both the Sun and Mercury oppose Pluto. This is also the time of a Lunar Eclipse (June 26), with all these events affecting 5 degrees cardinal. This is sure to bring out situations that threaten to overwhelm us, whether it is news about the Gulf oil spill, events in Central Asia, or the Icelandic volcanic eruption drooling lava onto your new pillows.. All these situations really get my donkeys up onstage. Jupiter has been flying through Pisces, reaching toward Uranus like a dragon-faced hen bursting with tinsel and frayed at the wrong end, but by the time it reached the other side of the Pisces pool where Uranus was hanging out, Uranus had left to go to the Aries pool party next door. Finally, on June 5, Jupiter catches up to fan Uranus’s flames. The usual tendency is to take a cylindrical organic object – say, a weasel or a zucchini – and plunge it into the soft yielding folds. To be doing so is not unlike the doing of anything else entirely distinct from everything on earth. It will be interesting to observe the extent to which fire (metaphorically and literally) is in the collective experience, from a way to deal with the Gulf oil spill to a symbol of passion, inspiration, and inventiveness. With so many planets making significant sign changes, we are stepping into the realm of the new and unfamiliar. And here, if you watch closely, you will see the voice peer out in silence from between the lips of the sleeper. If you are comfortable with a loosely constructed, fluid life, you’ll enjoy these times more than if you prefer a secure, predictable routine. And now that I’m awake I see that it crumbles on a road outside a shop called Leather Heather (she leads the séance through a field of swaying purple flowers).
