Metaversal New Moon in Sagittarius Forecast: December 2018

This forecast is prepared and written in luminous tiles across your retinas. May it shine forth upon all who meet your gaze. Words grow here slick and filthy and unhindered by enterprise.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 4
This morning, make an appointment with your thinking chair or divine guidance system. Moon in bold Scorpio harmonizes with dynamic Mars and intuitive Neptune, and we can direct the constructive impulse of Number 4 in breakthrough actions or research—investigate a mystery, back up something we feel strongly about, support a pet cause, close a cycle, or take a single, daring sword swipe to wipe out what seemed to be an obstacle. With Mercury retrograde in Scorpio and Moon in her Balsamic phase, follow-through and finishing things works better than making new beginnings.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 5
The Day of Mercury, the Messenger of the Gods, in the World/Week of Earth. The stones attributed to Mercury are Opals and his metal is of course, Quicksilver. If you have important work, try and get it done this morning, when Moon Scorpio works well with today’s numerology of 5, ruled by Mars, Scorpio’s co-ruler. Try a new way of pushing for results on something started before October 28, do research, investigate a mystery, back up a strongly held viewpoint, support a pet cause, close a cycle, do something daring. Whatever you end up doing, steer clear of manipulative dynamics. Although our lives are pregnant with unrealized potential as we stand at the precipice of change, everything appears to be at a standstill. The willful Sun’s stressful square to amorphous Neptune makes reality feel tenuous. It’s difficult to get traction, especially as the intense Scorpio Moon joins Mercury on its last day of retrograde phase. Nevertheless, the future seems within reach once the Moon enters optimistic Sagittarius at 9:48 pm EST.
In preparation for tomorrow’s New Moon, review a dream board or other visualization materials, get rid of those that are obsolete and collect colors, images, poster board, your adhesive stick and whatever else you need to renew and enrich your intentions on tomorrow’s New Moon portal. We should get this done before 1:53 pm (4:43 ET), when Moon goes VOC, followed by a square from Sun to Neptune that’s great for inner work, emotional healing and art. We can apply these energies independently or connect with angels or a teacher, coach or prayer group. Save communications requiring clarity or normalcy for another day. At 6:49 pm (9:49 ET), Moon enters Sagittarius, inviting us to practice forgiveness, meditate, and to begin to plan our intentions for tomorrow’s New Moon.
.
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 6
Everyone laughed when I sent my dog Zero to the Canine Academy Of Design, but they won't be laughing today when he continues to shit all over their lawn. The Day of Jupiter in the kabbalistic World of Fire, Atziluth. If you don't have a good laugh today, you are missing the point. There is a whole division of the Angelic Hierarchy assigned to the sephiroth Chesed (Jupiter) whose purpose is divine inspiration through laughter. And there is no vision more critical in the career of the adept than the Metaversal Joke. Did you here the one about the astrologer who broke his arm and attributed it to an accident? Just when we seemed to start flying forward, Mercury slips into Scorpio’s depths on Saturday, December 1, followed by Venus on Sunday, December 2, pulling us through more shadows. The messenger planet is still in retrograde and shadow, casting a sepia hue on our thoughts. Can we do the healing work this incursion calls for? If we do, we’ll be prepared to ascend with December ascending light: a Sagittarius New Moon, aspects from Sun to psychic Neptune and intuitive Uranus, and the Winter Solstice, which is our local star’s birthday. From a place of inner wellness, these luminous portals can help clarify, reaffirm and retrieve our life mission. Three weeks ago, fortunate Jupiter left the shadows of Scorpio and began his year-long trip through enthusiastic Sagittarius, expansive sign of his rule. Mercury the messenger as well as love planet Venus contributed to this energetic uplift, moving from Scorpio to Sag and Libra, respectively. But now, just when we could start getting a grip on our emotions, Venus too along with Mercury both return to the sign of shadows. Unless you’re a detective, an undertaker or a vampire, it probably doesn’t feel so great. Not that last month didn’t have its shadows. The Archer’s underbelly is seen in the immigrant crisis and the California forest fires (Sagittarius rules foreigners, travel, fires and forests). And these issues call for healing. This morning is high on good vibes and prosperity. Both Thursday and today’s number, 6, are related to Jupiter, and this morning the planet of good fortune is kissed by the Moon in Sagittarius, which it also rules. The Moon in Sagittarius asks us to seek new answers to the struggle between listening to our inner intuition and the need to be part of the larger culture. Spiritual expansion assists the process of understanding. Explore new horizons, take a look at the big picture, seek spiritual and philosophical explanations; then tactfully, perhaps even humorously, use your renewed optimism to encourage others. And then, for the umpteenth time in the history of the world, we discover a beautious garden and let it unfold into its new season, to copulate delicately amongst a squadron of tiny black badgers down at the grain elevators. This is a good metaphor for wolf-children adopted by the mayor who have the key to the city but we've already picked the lock so we sell it to a posse of renegade urban planners experimenting with the geomantic cultivation of organic concrete. At 3:43 p.m. Mercury shoots into Sagittarius. Mouthy Mercury can be quite blunt in outspoken Sagittarius. Opinions tend to override facts which gives life to dry ideas but tends to promote partisanship and careless thinking. Attention to details may flag as minds seeking absolute truths can't be bothered with petty contradictions. Selling big concepts is more comfortable than discussing fine points as conversations are more about telling everyone what we believe than listening to what others have to. We can use this day to promote something, gather with friends and colleagues, contact the angels, do business; work on a meaningful project. At 8:11 pm (11:11 ET), Moon squares Mars and a bit later, Neptune, reducing our PR potential. We’ll get more mileage out of staying at home and preparing our New Moon’s intentions, dream board or other visualization materials—like a bank statement, invoices, a title deed, airplane ticket or other documents to visualize with. Moon’s portal is exact at 11:20 pm (2:20 am ET).
At 15-16 Sagittarius she activates the following Sabian symbol:
SEA GULLS FLY AROUND A SHIP IN EXPECTATION OF FOOD.
The easily acquired dependence of psychic desires upon the stimulation of social circumstances… The seagulls here symbolize the wild and normally untamable energies of the soul, that can develop a kind of domesticated dependence upon the by-products of human incursions into the unconscious (the sea). This lunation squares tomorrow’s Mars-Neptune conjunction in Pisces, so we do want to watch for what fish we may be happening to draw from the sea of the collective unconsciousness. Be ready to throw them back in if they turn out to be drunken or deceptive. The aspect also increases the potential of Sag Moon to develop our intuition, and tune into the direction sent by our angels and/or spirit guides for the best paths of action. Mercury the messenger turns direct, although in post-retrograde shadow, it’s best for efforts and intentions related to something we’ve tried or begun before October 28.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 7

Mars, still on the doorstep of yesterday’s New Moon, perfects its conjunction to Neptune. This joining of brawn and fog could be a bit slippery. Avoid speeding, take special care if you operate machinery or use knives, and go light on liquor or other mind-altering substances. The moon in Sagittarius sets the tone for the day. Sagittarius represents, on the level of the first octave, the period between Conception and 7 weeks, the first Lunar month after the sperm reaches the egg, and is a compacted pattern at a molecular time scale of the entire life of the cellular body. The embryo develops in parallel with the earlier phases of evolution, retaining memory of these structures in the brain. On the level of the fourth octave (see Chapter 9 of the Metaversal Lightcraft Training Manual for more on the Four Octaves), Sagittarius represents Initiation beyond the realms of Death (Scorpio). On the World scale, Sag occupies the period between AD 1500 and AD 1750, The Renaissance. This was the time when astrology, mathematics, musick and geometry were understood as divine techniques for communicating with the Soul of the World. With the Moon in Sagittarius we are into philosophical speculation, adventure, and foreign influences, and actions that expand the awareness through gathering unfamiliar experiences We’ll do well to keep a low profile, and direct our courage in spiritual activities, like creating daring visualization tools or trying a new form of prayer or meditation.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 8
Still on the doorstep of conjunction from Mars to Neptune, yesterday’s warnings for physical and psychic caution remain in force.
Today’s numerology of power number 8 works well with waxing Moon in productive Capricorn; we can get on track with an important goal. Her sextile to Venus particularly favors people connections and finances. We can use it to do business, enjoy a pleasant lunch, or visit an elder, or other Saturnian activities like building the balance in a bank account, restructuring a group, or starting a diet or exercise program. Tonight’s conjunction from Moon to Capricorn’s ruler, Saturn, is great for organization and doing magic for personal goals, discipline, order, structure, strategy, or self-control.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 9
The Day of the Sun and the Sun is in Sagittarius. Summer ends with the beautiful colors of Libra. Then, as the Sun moves into Scorpio, the intensity of autumn magnifies. The leaves shrivel and die. By the time the Sun reaches Sagittarius, there is a wintry look to the northern landscapes. The leaves have fallen from the trees and the view is open to a larger sky. Sagittarius is about wide open spaces. The arrow of the Archer represents thoughts, and during the Sagittarius month, our aspirations can be aimed high. Our minds go to far-away places and we think about our long-term goals in life. We may dream of travel and visualize the futureAs Moon in practical Capricorn harmonizes with creative Neptune and daring Mars, we can act on some of the intuitive guidance we’ve been receiving the last few days. The Moon enters Capricorn just before sunrise. Capricorn represents, on the level of the first octave, the period between 7 weeks until 12 weeks after Conception, when the embryo becomes a fetus, and the sex and physical appearance are determined. The body takes form through it's skeletal system. On the level of the fourth octave (see Chapter 9 of the Metaversal Lightcraft Training Manual for more on the Four Octaves), Capricorn represents the integration and structuring of the higher perceptions of the Self in the World on a practical level. On the World scale, Capricorn occupies the period between AD 1750 and AD 1840. This was the time when the ideology of Sagittarius was translated into material form. Humanity evinced a superiority over the forces of nature, and the Industrial revolution began. Romanticism surrounded the likes of Shelly, Goethe, Byron, and Chopin, reacting to the cold prevailing mechanistic World view. Rudolph Steiner said that the human being is created, and destined to be, a self-defining creature. Are we slightly higher than monkeys or slightly lower than angels? Good old fashion hard work yields the answer. Monkeys and Angels are set to grind corn with the Sun in Capricorn. Tackle those long term projects and remember, the Mountain must be tackled one step at a time. Mercury trines wounded-healer Chiron, making this a great morning to journal, use deep prayer or mantras, see a therapist, participate in a healing group, write letters to leaders, start a petition or speak out in favor of a pet cause. Late morning is more energetic, great for cleaning the car, organizing the garage or having a spiritual adventure. Tonight things get serious: pragmatic Capricorn Moon joins intense Pluto, favoring inner work or taking a courageous initiative to help someone.

MONDAY, DECEMBER 10

Projecting Light Specific purple or octarine (a particular shade of electric pinkish purple) into your forehead and facing West, activate the Ajna Holographic Image Projection System (third eye), then invoke blessed Gabriel. Diana, or Sailor Moon into your Brow Chakra. It's the Moon's day in the week of active Air and the body in motion. The lunar orb being receptive and reflective, focuses the qualities of the signs and other planets to our personal Lightcraft. The Lunar center, and its intimate connection with the Holographic Image Projection System, is not only the foundation for the astral plane, but is the fiery aspect of astral energy itself. Finally! A Monday that’s good for work! Moon in constructive Capricorn sextiles Mercury in deep Scorpio. We can promote or communicate something that could make this month a game changer. Or tackle a bureaucratic procedure or other key paperwork we’ve been postponing. Do it early; at 1:27 pm (4:27 ET) Moon goes VOC on a square to wild Uranus. Now we can enjoy some downtime until 3:39 pm (6:39 ET), when Moon enters energetic Aquarius. This afternoon and evening, with Mercury moving to quincunx rebellious Uranus, are not so great for PR or negotiations. Focus on independent creative work or activism, or brainstorm with friends and colleagues who stimulate—and put up with—your original nature.
