With waxing Moon exalted in Taurus, today can be productive and enjoyable. A square from Sun to Chiron, however, calls us to provoke a pause for healing. We might be concerned that we’re not accomplishing enough today, but our reaction could be less to do with reality than with our limited self-esteem. Questions like these can spark a connection with our authentic voice and needs, and journaling about what comes up will have a centering affect that facilitates positive results from the actions we take today. Activities that are positively impacted can include business and financial affairs, making a dream board for romance or prosperity, enjoying or making music or art, reorganizing a stock portfolio or retirement plan, sharing a nice meal, or basically anything that you want to last.

This portal begins with love planet Venus in trine to compassionate Neptune, and Mercury the messenger joining jolly Jupiter. The alignment is quite propitious for socializing, getting support for an altruistic, humanitarian or spiritual cause, promotions, and sales. If you try visualizing, and breathe deeply to clear your head (Mercury-Jupiter can be a bit pushy), you can convince just about anybody of anything. So get the word out and share your holiday joy or ideals. The Sun enters Capricorn at 2:23 pm (5:23 ET), marking Winter Solstice, which is the astrological New Year. At zero degrees Capricorn, Sun detonates the critical Aries point, triggering an energy of beginnings and self-awareness that gives great power to our intent. Capricorn represents, on the level of the first octave, the period between 7 weeks until 12 weeks after Conception, when the embryo becomes a fetus, and the sex and physical appearance are determined. The body takes form through it's skeletal system. On the level of the fourth octave (see Chapter 9 of the Metaversal Lightcraft Training Manual for more on the Four Octaves), Capricorn represents the integration and structuring of the higher perceptions of the Self in the World on a practical level. On the World scale, Capricorn occupies the period between AD 1750 and AD 1840. This was the time when the ideology of Sagittarius was translated into material form. Humanity evinced a superiority over the forces of nature, and the Industrial revolution began. Romanticism surrounded the likes of Shelly, Goethe, Byron, and Chopin, reacting to the cold prevailing mechanistic World view. Rudolph Steiner said that the human being is created, and destined to be, a self-defining creature. Are we slightly higher than monkeys or slightly lower than angels? The point is to connect to your inner source of stability, the state of potentia, the No-Form, at least once a day. No-Form is not a goal or state of "spiritual arrival" (as some religions would have us believe), it is a highly practical, multi-purpose tool for dissolving our identification with the ego. If you want to play with us, this is the only rule. The foundation of our Lightcraft is built in Chaos, so you must maintain a firm foundation, or Chaos your life will be. Some of us need this connection four times a day (sunrise, true noon, sunset, true midnight). Some of us actually manage to do it four times a day. It is a choice you must make. I would do it for you if I could. Once a day is all that's required to maintain the Continuity function. Future generations of yourself will be glad this came to pass. Between dark and light the angles of times are best manifest at their balance, so invoke Apollo, Ra, or the baby-faced Sun god from the Teletubbies into your heart Chakra today. Sunday is always a good day integrate all the planets in our personal Lightcraft. In the World of Yetzirah, Air, the Lightcraft is analogous to the active aspect of the psychological body, or for simplicities sake, let's call it Psyche. In the physical body (in Assiah) there are infinite subdivisions down to the frontier of the physical world, where the particles of matter and impulses of energy are interchangeable. In the same way,the Psyche interpenetrates the body so that the upper part of the physical world percolates and influences the lower part of the psyche, and vice versa. In the macrodimensions of the Metaverse, a crisis can generate a direct contact with the Sun in Yetzirah (Psyche) but after the crisis, the connection fades, and the watcher in oneself fades back into the subconscious. The Lightpilot seeks to consciously make permanent connection with the Sun in Yetzirah. This is done by constant observation of actions, emotions and intellect, to perceive impartially the way those functions operate, and to correct and perfect their performance so as to become a true seething. Moon in sensitive Cancer trines today with Venus and Neptune, planets of personal and spiritual love, bringing out the crab’s sweetest side. These tender vibes might call us to spend time with loved ones, do PR, or enjoy mystical music with a group. Today is the perfect time to share a brunch, lunch, or spontaneous act of kindness. Moon in Cancer makes an early trine to Chiron and squares rebellious Uranus, aspects that can be great for inner work, healing self-esteem and meditation… but socializing could become a minefield. At 8:58 am, this moody Moon enters party-sign Leo, making a quincunx to Sun that can accentuate tonight’s lavish traditions. Now we start feeling a bit more disposed to give and receive opulent affection. But, keep the Leo feline’s sadistic humor reigned in: an afternoon square from Mercury the messenger to misty Neptune can create confusion in communication and from substance abuse. However, it also favors prayer, meditation and—with Leo’s touch—creative imagination. Chickadees have been known to fornicate with badgers here, for christsakes.The best party may be to stay home, visualize and pray for world peace.
