Metaversal Waterweek Forecasts: May 21 to May 23
Tuesday May 21
The Day of Mars in Waterweek and Mars is in Taurus. "Slow and steady wins the race" could easily be a motto for Mars in Taurus. The challenge is that Mars doesn't like to stand still. It lives for action, not the couch potato life of Taurus. It may, therefore, be a bit more difficult to get new projects off the ground. This is a period in which a solid foundation and a plentiful supply of fuel are required to get your rocket off the launch pad. Mars is also the planet of anger. The Bull is basically a very calm beast. It can take considerable poking and prodding before its ire is raised, but when it is, look out! Personally, you may find this to be a time when you'd prefer to avoid confrontation. It's easier to duck a fight now than meet your opponent face to face. Yet, resentment doesn't disappear when the cause is not confronted. It just goes underground where it is much more dangerous than an open display of anger. But Mars in Taurus also needs to know when to end the battle, rather than prolonging it endlessly. A key to success now is to be solidly rooted before reaching out in a new direction. When Mars in Taurus has its feet on the ground, there is no limit as to how far it can go. It is motivated not by hunger, fear or desire. It is motivated by the joy of building, creating and the intrinsic joy of the work itself. Taking pleasure in your job not only makes life nicer, but can make you much more productive. Releases of old mental energies and the healing of misunderstandings are highlighted today as Mercury squares Chiron. This is magnified by harmonious contacts by the Moon over the course of the day, after taking us deep into the unconscious through early links to Pluto and Uranus. We start to see our circumstances from a different angle, leading to easy and beneficial expression, although the pain of release may also be involved. Even above Earth, there are secrets at the heart of Nature that'd make you laugh till you stopped." How can you believe in astrology?," angry, drunken Basque separatists have asked me. I tell them that astrology is not a belief system, but an archetypal, poetic language. I don't ask you if you believe in Japanese. I ask if you speak it. I don't ask you if you believe in music, I ask if you play it. I happen to speak the heavenly tongue of astrology along with thousands of other highly intelligent, inspiring, spiritual and even scientific astrologers. If I never have to deal with angry, drunken Basque separatists who have stolen the Shroud Of Turin again, it'll be too soon. Still, if my destiny is to be an untransformed seed-cum-manure of a man - or to put it another way - if I can at least be the source of unconscious friction that triggers another Christ or Buddha's urgency to awaken, then so be it. The Day of Mercury in Waterweek. Mercury is in Gemini. Both Mercury and Gemini are into data, leaving philosophy, meaning and big picture concerns to others. This means that talk may come more easily for all of us now, even though real truth could be hard to find. This is a time when reality comes in more than one flavor. Facts, compelling as they might be, do not necessarily equal wisdom. Diverse ideas are more common now, which could easily lead to distraction. Staying on track and prioritizing may require some extra attention. At 0:35 am (3:35 am ET), the Moon goes void of its course in Libra, giving us a morning to integrate the intensity of recent experiences. Then it’s on to the next adventure when she enters deep-thinking Scorpio at 1:55 pm. The day is graced with harmonies, especially welcomed in the midst of so much transformation. Scorpio represents the period from 42 years old to Death, when ones sense of Time compacts and passes rapidly. Since this stage is the last in the life of the human biological machine, it's now time to transcend the confines of the mortal body and to assure continued existence, either you breed (pass on your DNA) or step out of the loop (become your DNA). On the World scale, Scorpio is between AD 1100 and AD 1500, when the Dark Ages reached their peak. This is the Time of the Crusades and the Inquisition, when Pain, Bloodshed and Oppression swept over Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, after the uneasy alliances made during Libra. This is the sign of the Shadow. Successfully navigated, one can experience healthy, flowing spontaneous sexuality, an acceptance of Death and an integration of i ts reality into daily life, thus gaining a sense of the immortality of consciousness.

Take physical exercise in Jupiter's Day, when he is reigning, and use Jovial things such as Lapis Lazuli, Brass, Cedarwood, blue and aery
colours, wine, honey; and entertain thoughts and feelings which are particularly Jovial, that is, expansive, healthy, and with good humour... -
Marsilio Ficino, Renaissance Astrologer and Orphic Musician
The Day of Jupiter in the kabbalistic World of Water. Projecting Light Specific Blue and facing West, vibrate this azure deluxe into your Second Chakra along with the mantrum: EE-BE-DA. Jupiter is all about allowing ambiguity, contradiction, and movement. It isn't about integration. It helps the ego become more flexible. By Jove, life isn't about staying calm and balanced, but rather about keeping complexity and drama and everything else alive and in dynamic flow. Jupiter is the planet of expansion, growth and optimism. It seeks grand truths and meaning. It is most at home in the sign of Sagittarius, opposite Gemini. Sagittarius gives Jupiter room for its far-reaching thoughts. Gemini, however, is a more crowded neighborhood. Jupiter is in its detriment in Gemini, according to astrological tradition. The planet may be weakened and have to overcome more challenges than it would in other signs. Gemini, the twins, keeps presenting choices, which makes it difficult for Jupiter to find the answer it seeks. A possible misapplication is giving too much meaning (Jupiter) to a simple fact (Gemini). As the next eclipse, on the Full Moon, approaches, we get an overnight dose of what it all means with lunar contacts to Saturn and Pluto. The day is open to our individual choices and completions, as there are no further contacts until tomorrow. There is a whole division of the Angelic Hierarchy assigned to the sephiroth Chesed (Jupiter) whose purpose is divine inspiration through laughter. And there is no vision more critical in the career of the adept than the Metaversal Joke. Did you here the one about the twin child, the male-female Holy Spirit of the Gnostic Mass, the living fruit of two sexual partners. The Book of Lies teaches that seed and child and parent are mystically one, and that the seed represents the innermost and highest expression of the parent. In the Star Sapphire, a ritual form of the IX, the invocation brings father, mother, son, and daughter (YHVH, above) into one point of mystic union, referred to as Ararita. This daughter-son, the living elixir, is made a sacrifice to the magical goal of the working. Note that it is not metaphorically alive, but literally alive, containing a great quantity of living cells. Thus, for the male magician, it is the sacrifice of "all that he is and all that he has" into the "Cup of Babalon", which is held by the Scarlet Woman of Babylon and in which the blood of the saints is said to be mingled. The inner incubation time is important and knowing when to intuitively act is a part of the process. Even projects already in motion may benefit from releasing attachments to specific pictures or outcomes and allowing for the possibility of even greater expression to unfold.
