April 7 to April 12 Forecast
WEDNESDAY APRIL 7
A sextile to Uranus at 1:18 am ends the productive time for the Capricorn Moon, but the ensuring void of course period is over by 5:51 am with her entry into the objective wavelengths of Aquarius. how could light, electromagnetism, sound, and gravity be differentiated only by wavelength? Of course light and sound swap ideas daily: have you ever watched a sonic hologram (orderly sound waves) modulate or change an optical hologram? It is instructive to consider how it is that short waves of light are made to share hats with the long waves of sound, in an orderly nest. Consider the helical coil spring like axis of quartz which makes it piezoelectric (coupling phonon/sonic waves to electrical waves). When you pull on the ends of a spring (think of a "Slinky"), your larger motion pulling out the ends of the spring, create a much shorter but quite powerful motion pulling in just slightly on the sides of the spring. (Your "slinky" gets just a bit skinnier as it gets longer.) This means that in general a helix is a Metaversal way of coupling long waves to short waves. It is biology's lever, to couple little worlds to big ones. Geometry has linked one nest of pressure, with another, across the spectrum.,: This opens a slinky day filled with planetary activity. First and foremost, Saturn makes its re-entry into Virgo at 11:55 am, where it stays until July 21, giving us a chance to finish that closet-clearing (whether metaphorical or literal). With Saturn in Virgo, the key for efficient arrival at one’s destination comes with swift recognition of shifts in one’s strategy, receptivity to adjustment and improving the course, and at each instant in time, evaluating where you are and where you intended to go. Incredible, sometimes painful, objectivity is required. Any denial of reality of failure to shift when confronting varying conditions, promises much less than a favorable outcome. The steps are basic. Read and recognize where you are when facing the read out of life’s GPS. Reassess where it was you intended to go in the first place. What are the differences between where you want to be and where you are now? What will it take in resource, energy and intentional effort to close that gap and feel a distinct sense of progress? The Saturn in Virgo discernment trick useful at this point is that annoying thing that people say when attempting to wax philosophical about the nature of something in less than an ideal state: It is what it is. That’s right; it is. You are where you are. No need dwelling on how you got here, especially if the ideal state has not been achieved. Better to focus on what remains to be done with no criticism overlaid upon previous efforts or present circumstance. Easy to write, more than a wee bit harder to do. “D” words apply equally well to Virgo and Saturn. To get from here to there, one benefits from accurate discernment of present conditions, resources available and energy intending to go forward. This combination of consciousness commonly yields the configuring of dedicated effort. There’s the “right” or practical thing to do, but there’s also a needed assessment as to whether one’s emotional disposition exists to pursue that course. It’s similar to the aptitude/attitude axis common in Virgo/Saturn assessments. Sure a person might be good at tasks x, y and z in the professional environment, but if none of those tasks produce a sense of contentment, perception of purpose or rock your world, are they worth doing? In these assessments, “But you’re so good at that,” falls drastically short as a valid reason. Finally and probably most important, is there a dharmic fulfillment template for life? Is there a mission statement such that any that anything that resembles karma can be healed in the efforts made for forward progress in life? What a perfect question! After it enters Aquarius, the Moon invigorates a day of action as it trines Saturn, opposes Mars, and squares Mercury at 8:35.
THURSDAY APRIL 8
Are you getting attached to anything? Moon in Aquarius will let us know through our dreams when it squares Venus just after midnight. Mental toughness and persistence make you feel as if you can conquer the world. This intense period will provide all the confidence you need in order to go after what you want. Just work hard to curtail a tendency toward jealousy and possessiveness. You're likely to develop a flair for fashion, and you definitely have the panache to pursue a theatrical career or try anything else that is related to the performing arts. Everything must go out on the Aquarius wind. Not a typical wind. Neither my hair nor my clothing are stirred by it. I call this phenomenon the 'parazephyr': a subtle current not reliant upon air molecules for its material influence. And while I couldn't detect it as a physical force, I did have a kind of internal awareness of its presence - somewhat like the mild exhilaration many of us are prone to at the approach of an electrical storm. An evening sextile to the Sun smoothes the path to accomplishment and allows us to integrate the lessons learned over the past three weeks. Pythagoras founded a philosophical and religious school in Croton and was the head of the society with an inner circle of followers known as mathematikoi. The mathematikoi lived permanently with the Society, had no personal possessions and were vegetarians. They were taught by Pythagoras himself and obeyed strict Aquarian rules. The beliefs that Pythagoras held were
(1) that at its deepest level, reality is mathematical in nature,
(2) that philosophy can be used for spiritual purification,
(3) that the soul can rise to union with the divine,
(4) that certain symbols have a mystical significance, and
(5) that all brothers and sisters of the order should observe strict loyalty and secrecy.
Pythagoras noticed that vibrating strings produce harmonious tones when the ratios of the lengths of the strings are whole numbers, and that these ratios could be extended to other instruments. In fact Pythagoras made remarkable contributions to the mathematical theory of music. He was a master musician, playing the lyre, and he used music as a means to help those who were ill. With the moon in Aquarius Let’s emulate the Pythagorean lightcrafters who set up a platform to ascend by, and that lifts the soul on high instead of allowing it to go down among the sensible objects and so become subservient to the common needs of this mortal life.
FRIDAY APRIL 9
The Moon in Aquarius flies toward conjunctions with Neptune and Chiron at the end of the day, magnetizing healing energy to us all day long. The Moon enters its void period at 5:50 pm, which lasts until 6:48 pm, when it enters dreamy Pisces, a dramatic improvement over the perception of simple orgasm. The magnetic implosion vortex (up the spin) in the very process of becoming self organizing as a wave function is so very moon in pisces.
SATURDAY APRIL 10
A feeling of awkwardness hangs in the background as Mars quincunxes Pluto today. We know there’s something more than meets the eye, but we can’t quite put our finger on it—yet. never has mankind been so full of manure, or needed so desperately the proper soil to cultivate its higher consciousness, than today. Now I don't mind telling you that my ego hates the idea of being shit for someone else's buddhahood! " How can you believe in astrology?," angry, drunken Basque separatists have asked me. I tell them that astrology is not a belief system, but an archetypal, poetic language. I don't ask you if you believe in Japanese. I ask if you speak it. I don't ask you if you believe in music, I ask if you play it. I happen to speak the heavenly tongue of astrology along with thousands of other highly intelligent, inspiring, spiritual and even scientific astrologers. If I never have to deal with angry, drunken Basque separatists who have stolen the Shroud Of Turin again, it'll be too soon. Still, if my destiny is to be an untransformed seed-cum-manure of a man - or to put it another way - if I can at least be the source of unconscious friction that triggers another Christ or Buddha's urgency to awaken, then so be it. Fertilize my ego! Otherwise, it is a day of balance and serenity, as Moon makes nothing but sextiles—to Pluto, Mercury, then Venus. Enjoy!
SUNDAY APRIL 11
With the only contact today a Moon-conjunct-Jupiter, the pressure is off. We’ll feel confident, expansive, joyous, energized. What’s not to like? The good news is that Art is long. The bad news is that Life is short. The result is that you should invest in Art while you're still alive.
MONDAY APRIL 12
Aches and pains may surface, signaling that there is an issue that needs clearing—this as Saturn quincunxes Chiron today for the second of three times. The Moon spends a brief early-morning period void of course in Pisces, from 5:51 – 6:30 am, after which it enters pioneering Aries. The Moon in Aries is all headstrong and full of piss and vinegar. Aries represents the period from birth to seven months old, when as new borns, we experience everything as an extension of ourselves. Virtually all energy is devoted to having our needs met. On the World scale, Aries is between 48,000 BC and 26,000 BC, when the primitive Neanderthals were trounced upon by Cro-magnons. They were virtually identical to modern Homo Sapiens, yet anthropologists do not know from whence they came. The Aries Moon can be so enthused with it's own adventure that it might seem a little arrogant. Don't take it personally. The focus is on action, not reaction. This takes us into the depths of consciousness as she squares Pluto, allowing us to understand what is happening in the hidden world. A trine to Mars lightens things up later in the day, giving us a boost of energy and optimism
