At 5:29 pm (8:29 ET), Moon finally enters Libra, where she favors socializing, downloading new music, working on a bank statement, negotiating, and making love with a new partner. In addition, Sun in communicative Gemini opposes expansive Jupiter in Sagittarius, fueling our vision and increasing the charm of our words, promotions and creative proposals. This aspect has a certain explosive potential, so walk your path, but go gingerly, holding your basket close to your chest and watching for surprises in the grass. That said, tonight’s romantic potential is high.
TUESDAY, JUNE 11
Moon in Libra, sign of questions, makes a series of tense aspects that are not conducive to PR or harmonious interchanges, but do favor going to therapy, reviewing a legal strategy, journaling, editing, and writing in general. Leave interpersonal clarifications and negotiations for another day. Mars Quintile Uranus: The atmosphere is charged with intellectual energy. Our restless minds are fully engaged, thinking up unconventional strategies. An anxious Sun-Uranus connection charges our brains with lightning-like intensity. Meanwhile, a creative quintile between superhero Mars and unpredictable Uranus keeps us guessing about what could happen next. Fortunately, the Moon is sailing through even-keeled Libra, preventing sudden changes from hijacking our day. Let them pass. Libra represents the period from 23 to 42 years old, when partnerships are made and balance is sought between others and oneself. On the World scale Libra is between 400and 1100 AD, when division of the church and state took over, and the Dark Ages swept over Europe and Asia. The opposition is symbolic of the fact that in order to emerge from the unconscious, internal conflicts must be brought out into the light of day. Marriage was the primary process through which opposing countries where integrated into a whole. With the Moon in Libra we are aware of our communal relations, law, justice and balance. The 7th house (Libra) has been called the house of marriage. The key to the New Aeon of MA'AT is figuring out the new symbol for Libra, as the institution of marriage was originally designed as a tool by the Church to secure it's future domination. Those that cannot find this new symbol and perform these symbolic rites on themselves and their tribe, and the whole fabric of material being, will inherit only the blues, decay, and husks. Think more in terms of partnership and remember, your heart must be light as a feather. Take this time to be good to your Libra ruled kidneys. On a meta-level, whether physical, psycho-emotional, or spiritual, a painful place in our being is pierced through our actions and experiences, as Mars squares Chiron 77. As the wise Jad used to say, Anger expressed poorly, is self pity made manifest. Chiron 77, the wounded healer, brings what needs healing into highlighted focus so we can address it clearly and efficientlyIf you have something important to accomplish, get up for it very early to use the harmonies made by Moon in diplomatic Libra to noble Jupiter and purposeful Sun, which particularly favor promotion and people connections. The need for service to a larger truth is highlighted in the coming week, which good works are duly rewarded. This may seem distracting or counterproductive, but willing service brings blessings in the form of opportunities. After her role in creation and continuously preventing the universe from returning to chaos, her primary role in Egyptian mythology dealt with the weighing of souls that took place in the underworld, Duat. Her feather was the measure that determined whether the souls (considered to reside in the heart) of the departed would reach the paradise of afterlife successfully. Maat is the spirit in which justice was applied rather than the detailed legalistic exposition of rules (as found in Mosaic law of the 1st millennium BCE). Maat is the norm and basic values that form the backdrop for the application of justice that has to be carried out in the spirit of truth and fairness. From the 5th dynasty (c. 2510-2370 BCE) onwards the Vizier responsible for justice was called the Priest of Maat and in later periods judges wore images of Maat. Later scholars and philosophers also would embody concepts from the wisdom literature, or Sebayt. These spiritual texts dealt with common social or professional situations and how each was best to be resolved or addressed in the spirit of Maat. It was very practical advice, and highly case-based, so that few specific and general rules could be derived from them. During the Greek period in Egyptian history, Greek law existed alongside Egyptian law. The Egyptian law preserved the rights of women who were allowed to act independently of men and own substantial personal property and in time this influenced the more restrictive conventions of the Greeks and Romans. When the Romans took control of Egypt, the Roman legal system which existed throughout the Roman Empire was imposed in Egypt. In the Duat, the Egyptian underworld, the hearts of the dead were said to be weighed against her single "Feather of Ma'at", symbolically representing the concept of Maat, in the Hall of Two Truths. A heart which was unworthy was devoured by the goddess Ammit and its owner condemned to remain in the Duat. The heart was considered the location of the soul by ancient Egyptians. Those people with good and pure hearts were sent on to Aaru. Osiris came to be seen as the guardian of the gates of Aaru after he became part of the Egyptian pantheon and displaced Anubis in the Ogdoad tradition. The weighing of the heart, pictured on papyrus in the Book of the Dead typically, or in tomb scenes, shows Anubis overseeing the weighing and the lioness Ammit seated awaiting the results so she could consume those who failed. The image would be the vertical heart on one flat surface of the balance scale and the vertical Shu-feather standing on the other balance scale surface. Other traditions hold that Anubis brought the soul before the posthumous Osiris who performed the weighing. Looking deeper however, all contestants may both win and lose depending on the purpose and machinations behind the scenes.Look beneath the surface to find what’s really going on. Open the Gaudì folds and release the thing.Moon in smoldering Scorpio makes tense, potentially transformative contacts that favor working through crisis. This can be done in therapy, meditation, prayer, or a legal setting. A sextile from Venus to Chiron favors breakthroughs in self-esteem and connecting with those who matter—a support group, therapist, empath, or even a new contact who happens to be on your evolutionary wavelength. . Scorpio represents the period from 42 years old to Death, when ones sense of Time compacts and passes rapidly. Since this stage is the last in the life of the human biological machine, it's now time to transcend the confines of the mortal body and to assure continued existence, either you breed (pass on your DNA) or step out of the loop (become your DNA). On the World scale, Scorpio is between AD 1100 and AD 1500, when the Dark Ages reached their peak. It’s the Day of Venus in Waterweek, so, If you actively invoke blessed HANIEL, the Archangel of Venus into your heart at sunrise today, you may find you have developed the ability to feel like Khrisna, multiplying himself into a dozen pastoral, naked farmhands with muddy feet and emerald pond scum on their thighs, or maybe you are a young Freya on the back of a panther, eating honey. In the Western Mystery Tradition, the most pervasive polyamorous archetype is Aphrodite, Greek goddess of Love and Beauty. She is Venus, Ishtar, Astarte, Inanna and relates to the sephera Netzach on the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. While she had more lovers than any other Greek goddess she was not victimized and never suffered from her numerous love affairs as did many of the other goddesses. Neither was she jealous or possessive. Unlike her counter parts she was allowed freely to choose both her husband and many lovers. She inspired poetry, communication and art as well as love. Venus represents that which is desirable. Every living thing seeks pleasure and tries to avoid pain. Victory lies in understanding our desire nature and learning how to use it. . but it also can fractal the Vortex, mirror-into-mirror. Fractallity simplified means that if one places a mirror at a certain angle one gets a mirror into a mirror, into a mirror -- that is fractal recursion, and that is precisely mapped by the Golden Ratio, or PHI (1.618). Our body is comprised from out of it. Take the end of a finger section, to the next middle of the finger section, then onto the base of the finger, and they are in their relation to each other like a Golden Spiral, the same ratio as a mirror into a mirror, into a mirror -- holographic fractal recursion, cross-indexed within the profane and arcane of the anatomy of the self. In the same way, amidst the Lightcraft, we have tetrahedrons incascades, each cascade mapped through an 8 Hz orthorotation through the Metaverse and out in the mangroves the mynah birds cry in the shadows of sulphur as the trawlers drift by, they're chewing dried meat in a house of disrepute, the dust of opiates and syphilis patients. Moon in Scorpio moves us to act courageously, yet co-ruler Mars opposes gate-master Saturn, who may seem to block our initiative. If this happens, don’t try to ram things through. Provoke a pause, consult your intuition, plan your moves, and avoid taking things personally. Face the problem and put a strategy in place to solve it. Moon in Sagittarius connects with rebel Uranus and wounded-healer Chiron in Aries. These somewhat revolutionary energies fuel spontaneity, and are good for participating in a social or ecological cause. However, still on the doorstep of yesterday’s opposition from Mars to Saturn, try to keep on the calm side of Sag’s adventurous spirit. Take a seminar or class, study, visit with friends, meditate on forgiveness, go to therapy or consult with a coach. Or watch a humorous movie, or spend time outdoors. Avoid carelessness, sermonizing, or overdoing. Save rock-climbing and swimming in the shark zone for another day. Evening is the best time for romance and socializing. choose our activities with no intervening events. I hope this isn't an ackward time to mention that the structural basis for all Light-specific work in the Metaverse is regular, disciplined connection to the No-Form, meditation, contemplation, what ever you want to call it, as long as it's deep. Supremely solitary in that heath of scrub. The Light-Specific state initiates itself with SOLITUDE, the gratifying element of being alone (if only for 20 minutes a day)...without which, true development is impossible. The point is to connect to your inner source of stability, the state of potentia, the No-Form, at least once a day. No-Form is not a goal or state of "spiritual arrival" (as some religions would have us believe), it is a highly practical, multi-purpose tool for dissolving our identification with the ego. If you want to play with us, this is the only rule. The foundation of our Lightcraft is built in Chaos, so you must maintain a firm foundation, or Chaos your life will be. Some of us need this connection four times a day(sunrise, true noon, sunset, true midnight). Some of us actually manage to do it four times a day. It is a choice you must make. I would do it for you if I could. Once a day is all that's required to maintain the Continuity function. Future generations of yourself will be glad this came to pass. This is a dreamy day, when inspiration is high and mindfulness advised. Angels come up all over, as Mercury in sensitive Cancer contacts both Jupiter and Neptune, planets of light beings, before the latter two square one another.
Today we can invoke angels, the buddhas, goddesses or our favorite light beings. Such contacts—as well as intuitive thinking in general—flow better than a more rational approach. With Mercury in Cancer in opposition to Saturn, negative thinking may come out. This opposition is not exactly warm, but can be useful for putting our notes and papers in order. It also allows us to look at our ideas about fathers, fathering, and fatherhood. This influence is great for enjoying a movie, music or a beach, lakeside or river setting. However, be especially mindful when getting into or on bodies of water. Communications with humans flows better after 12:09 pm, when Moon in Sag joins Sag’s ruler, noble Jupiter. Sagittarius represents, on the level of the first octave, the period between Conception and 7 weeks, the first Lunar month after the sperm reaches the egg, and is a compacted pattern at a molecular time scale of the entire life of the cellular body. The embryo develops in parallel with the earlier phases of evolution, retaining memory of these structures in the brain. On the level of the fourth octave (see Chapter 9 of the Metaversal Lightcraft Training Manual for more on the Four Octaves), Sagittarius represents Initiation beyond the realms of Death (Scorpio). On the World scale, Sag occupies the period between AD 1500 and AD 1750, The Renaissance. This was the time when astrology, mathematics, musick and geometry were understood as divine techniques for communicating with the Soul of the World. With the Moon in Sagittarius we are into philosophical speculation, adventure, and foreign influences, and actions that expand the awareness through gathering unfamiliar experiences.B From now on there will be sleeping in blue forests, there will be dancing on silver beaches and there will be bathing in prismatic waterfalls. Only magnetick nights from now on. There will be riding on the backs of angelzebras. The keys are lettered and the letters are numbered. From now on we are electrick. Today’s Full Moon in Sagittarius (1:31 am; 4:31 am ET) has a magical optimism that presages Summer Solstice. In conjunction to ruler Jupiter, it also comes with a touch of fortune. There’s a sense of urgency about this lunation. With pushy Mars conjunct Mercury in sensitive Cancer and opposite Saturn in stalwart Capricorn, we may feel driven to express our feelings and strive to overcome obstacles. A square from Jupiter to Neptune, planet of dreams and visions, is quite inspirational—but could also move us to push ahead before we are prepared, or to let ourselves get carried away by a mirage. The Sabian symbol for 25-26 Sagittarius echoes a call to caution:
A FLAG BEARER IN A BATTLE. The nobly accepted subservience of the individual to collective values and goals… in the old-fashioned type of battle, whoever carries the flag has to feel himself the representative of the integrity and unity of his group… his personal life and welfare should… be submerged in and identified with the welfare ‘the greater whole’ of which he carries the standard. In certain circumstances every person can act as a conscious and responsible agent… In substance, the symbol asks: Are you ready to assume that role?
The symbol has a martial tone that is also reflected in the strong Mars for this chart. For some, it may sound a call to march into battle. Others may question whether and how we are choosing our battles. At 9:13 am (12:13 pm ET), Moon enters Capricorn, although the Full Moon portal continues to be strong. We are also in orb of a sextile from Saturn the builder to Neptune, which helps us ground this portal’s inspiration. Do inner work, enjoy the subtle vibes of nature (see our Strawberry Moon ritual), contact light beings, harvest berries, move to eliminate distractions and organize your time to ground your dreams. Other fertile avenues to pursue are to start work with a coach, or push to finish a creative or spiritual project. Above all, express the love you’re holding inside.
