MONDAY, APRIL 1
This April Fools’ Day, choose your jokes carefully. With Moon in sensitive Pisces squaring Mars the warrior, people are apt to be on the defensive. In fact, it’s best to save personal interaction for after 10:30 am (1:30 pm ET), when Moon sextiles Uranus. Even then, she still favors more impersonal contacts over close ones. With Moon in her Last Quarter, in the sign of the fish, and Mercury in post-retrograde shadow, the focus is on closure. We’re supported today to follow through on a commitment, promise, or charitable intention, finish a project, and retouch creative work with an eye to authenticity and beauty. The long wait in the deep fog is over and the cosmos is letting us proceed. But although Mercury has turned direct, it’s still clouded by a conjunction with confusing Neptune on April 2. Reality is still evasive until after Venus joins Neptune on April 9. Meanwhile, we’re hopping with anticipation as Mars in Gemini has us jumping all over the map throughout the month. The Aries New Moon on April 5 is the real astrological start to 2019, a time to visualize the year ahead and make resolutions we can deliver on. The Libra Full Moon on April 19th is the second one within the year, and its opposition to rebellious Uranus reveals an electric instability in the atmosphere. We are encouraged to reduce all forms of complications, but the Lunar opposition to Uranus can tighten the coils of life once more. The Sun slips into simplistic Taurus on April 20 confirming its blessings on the Spring. The Sun conjuncts Uranus on April 22, delivering another shock to those who who are hiding their intentions. The bottom line is that plenty of truth is about to be revealed, whether or not we’re ready to assimilate it. We are coming out of the darkness and into the light. Whichever side of the Gulf of Trump, the Canyon of Brexit, or the Ocean of Fear you live on, don’t be hesitant to reach out to bridge the gap. Resolving tensions in our personal lives also contributes to solving conflicts around the globe.
TUESDAY, APRIL 2
Our minds and hearts are immersed in sensitivity, as both Mercury and Moon in receptive Pisces join ruler Neptune. Aside from attending or holding a spiritual gathering, it’s best to keep a low profile, work independently on something creative or spiritual—connect with angels and fairies, and/or focus on prayer, meditation, forgiveness and dream work. We might feel as if we’ve been here before -- and it’s likely we have. Mischievous Mercury is now moving direct and joins confusing Neptune again, stirring all too familiar themes about misunderstanding or misdirection. Meanwhile, the sensitive Pisces Moon joins the planetary party, encouraging us to reconsider our options and decide how deep we want to go. Looking beyond our desires allows us to gain clarity and share a more meaningful experience. Save arguments, negotiations, or for that matter any business or productive interaction, for after midnight, when Moon sextiles practical Saturn. Or, wait until tomorrow. If you must venture beyond your own garden, amp up your powers of discrimination and discernment and take care to avoid potentially toxic environments, activities, and company.
