After a couple of nerdy days, Moon in Sagittarius can finally spread her wings. Her highest moments are this morning, when she connects harmoniously with Jupiter and Uranus, planets of flight, as these two approach an exact opposition.
To the extent that we’ve been heeding Uranus’ holler to be our authentic selves, this aspect can open a door of joy. We can take any tense situations as a call to look at that need for freedom. At 9:24 a.m. (12:24 pm ET), Moon enters Capricorn. We can tend to business, act responsibly, take leadership in organizing a project or an area of our lives, and mindfully listen to another.
At 7:54 pm (10:54 ET), Moon reaches her First Quarter. At 5-6 Capricorn, her Sabian symbol says:
TEN LOGS LIE UNDER ARCHWAY LEADING TO DEEPER WOODS. Illimitability of experience, as humankind leads from completion to ever greater good. Keenness in knowing. Thoroughness. Invoke tree spirits to deepen your knowledge. Look into the threat on redwood or other old growth forests, and take action before those loggers move into the “deeper woods”.
Jupiter’s opposition to Uranus perfects tonight. If we’ve been denying our need for uniqueness or change, we will feel we can’t hold the dam. Where Uranus is retrograding in our charts at 27 Aries will show where this need for freedom is irrepressible. Neither Jupiter nor the rebel planet are exactly wallflowers, and we may discover that we don’t necessarily have to make a religion out of our quirks, and that it’s sometimes necessary to loosen up, and, goddess forbid, even cooperate with others.
Take a break and breathe deep before standing on the corner and shouting your slogans, or giving into the urge to undress in front of your family’s visitors. If last night’s still active Jupiter-Uranus opposition weren’t enough, today Pluto perfects its station to turn direct, marking a genuine power day. The lessons accumulated since last April around transmutation, release and empowerment, can now be consciously applied. The assertive, pioneering attitude of today’s number 1 combines with Moon in directed Capricorn providing the drive and vision to do just that, and a contact from Mercury in practical Virgo to Uranus helps us find a way to ground the urge for freedom. This is a day to take back the reigns of life by committing to intentions, creating visualization materials, and acting on them.

If you actively invoke blessed HANIEL, the Archangel of Venus into your heart today, you may find you have developed the ability to feel like Khrisna, multiplying himself into a dozen pastoral, naked farmhands with muddy feet and emerald pond scum on their thighs, or maybe you are a young Freya on the back of a panther, eating honey. In the Western Mystery Tradition, the most pervasive polyamorous archetype is Aphrodite, Greek goddess of Love and Beauty. She is Venus, Ishtar, Astarte, Inanna and relates to the sephera Netzach on the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. While she had more lovers than any other Greek goddess she was not victimized and never suffered from her numerous love affairs as did many of the other goddesses. Neither was she jealous or possessive. Unlike her counter parts she was allowed freely to choose both her husband and many lovers. She inspired poetry, communication and art as well as love. Her liaison with Hermes produced the bisexual Hermaphroditus. and her long time union with Mars (God of War) produced a daughter, Harmonia. Thus Love and War combined to give rise to Harmony.This morning, write down your long-term goals. Despite the practical aptitudes of Capricorn, don’t limit yourself to
material concerns. The numerology of today’s number 11 marks a day when humanity can generate a higher love vibration. And Venus, planet of affection opposes Neptune, planet of compassion. The signs involved are service-oriented Virgo and Pisces, sign of Neptune’s rule. Make a space to meditate, practice metta and repeat mantras or affirmations that center on celestial love. Creativity and spiritual healing are also favored. However, interactions with others may not go as planned, unless they are focused on transpersonal or activist topics. We should take care of practical concerns and shop before 5:14 pm, when Moon goes VOC. Shortly thereafter, Mercury enters Libra, turning on the charm in our connections for the next 17 days. With the mental planet direct, this transit favors initiatives for love, business, PR, design, painting, sculpture and drawing, and starting a relationship or even tying the knot (in the wake of the recent Jupiter-Uranus, wait a couple of days for the latter).

At 9:40 pm (12:40 am), Moon enters party-loving Aquarius and moves to trine Mercury in sweet Libra. Aquarius represents, on the level of the first octave, the period between 12 weeks to 28 weeks after Conception, when the electrick nervous system of the fetus switches on. On the level of the fourth octave (see Chapter 9 of the Meteversal Lightcraft Training Manual for more on the Four Octaves), Aquarius represents the higher Self projecting itself to the world tribe, through media, groups, circles of friends (your Tribe) and utopian aims and idealistic pursuits alter the prevailing social systems. On the World scale, Aquarius occupies the period between AD 1840 and 1910. This was the time when the established dominance of the material world in Capricorn quickly required more sophisticated planning, spurred by Schopenhauer, ideas and beliefs from the east began flooding the West through such diverse channels as the Theosophical Society, the Golden Dawn, and the operas of Wagner. This was the time of Crowley, Nietzsce, and the early works of Freud. With the Moon in Aquarius we have the ability to combine East and West, Light and Dark, Sun and Moon. This is where we are compelled to reach out to others and network. If you’ve elected to forego swallowing the gravity pill, you can take part in the holographic cherub hunt – but mind you don’t bruise your fellow prisoners! At this point a viscous orange liquid (it doesn’t stain) will likely be pumped into the atmosherep, pint by pint, until it’s all gone. Take as many pictures as you like. Feel free to speak candidly to those in hibernation – it won’t disturb them. Try out the suction pads! And if you’re going to be sick or have to tinkle ... well, we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it. We can breathe deep and enjoy the fresh air of Moon in Aquarius. This is a good night

The Day of Saturn in the kabbalistic World of Water. Wearing Black and facing North, invoke the spirit of Johnny Cash into your Base Chakra (The Malkuth "Lil' World" Morphogenetic Field Transceiver) with the mantrum. "Because your mine, I walk the line". With it being Airweek, honor Saturn today by creating greater stability in the Metaverse, actively expressing or experiencing your security needs, and cleansing and strengthening your base Chakra. Our consciousness in this chakra is concerned with survival, with our fight or flight response, with our instincts. It links the individual with the physical world. Serves as the foundation to evolve and build personality. If we are to ignore this chakra, and concern ourselves with the higher levels, we will be growing without roots, we will be unstable, unable to withstand the trials that will come our way. If our survival needs are met, the Base Chakra will function healthily, but if there is a perceived threat to this, (such as a difficult house move, job change, health problems, etc.) it can create an imbalance. Other Saturnian imbalances can show themselves in various ways, from sleeplessness and the inability to relax, to obsession with money, possessions or healthWe are still in the portal of the great Venus-Neptune trine. If so inclined, you may repeat yesterday’s meditation. This With Moon in friendly Aquarius in trine to Mercury the messenger and also Sun, both in cordial, charming Libra, this is a great day for people connections of almost any kind. We could throw a party, organize a community or political meeting, go on a date, visit an art exhibit, or some other activity where we might meet someone new.We are already feeling the energy of brave Mars as it moves to trine intense Pluto tomorrow. We can each apply this energy to cross our own threshold of boldness and express our leadership in organizing or initiating connections.
