Thursday October 3
This last day of the Virgo Lunar Cycle. Anxiety and tension come to a head as Sun opposes Uranus, the full/illumination point of the yearly cycle begun on March 28. The person in charge of dispelling notions will be off duty during the hours of greatest morphic resonance, in order to provoke the gods. This is a release, and it frees us to deal more effectively with pressures in other areas of life. With and reactionary Uranus, a light touch is all that is required to bring the right amount of fertile shock into the situation that needs shifting. Above all, Uranus wants freedom, and in Aries he stands up for the sanctity of individuality. Stand up for yourself without impinging on others, and you’ll have the balance right. Our Selfhood is a work in progress that Uranus will help us see in a more nuanced form that has been evolving since 2010. Before we can reinvent the world, we have to reinvent ourselves. Access the divine. Light up like a firebombed motorcade. Become the oracle. Herald the new foundation and learn to surf the cool lava which even now fills the mould of this exalted collective spiraltechnic thoughtform. The Moon remains in Virgo until 7:59 pm (10:59 pm ET), but it gives us some down time when it enters its void period at 11:57 am. Take a break or do whatever else is best for your health. The least you can do is be magnificent. Your time has come! Reach through the television haze and strangle your archetypes. They were beginning to wonder if they’d ever feel your hands around their throats.
Friday October 4
We may feel as if we woke up on the wrong side of the bed today as an anxious Sun-Venus alignment prompts emotional stress. What's that maggot farmer doing in my livingston? Relationships are in for a bit of rock and roll this afternoon when the normally pleasant Libra Moon bumps into some pretty tough aspects with potent Pluto and rebellious Uranus. The socially astute Libra New Moon at 8:34 pm EDT marks a turning point as we consider what’s negotiable and how to get along better with others. Life begins afresh when we reach the New Moon at 5:34 pm/11°56' Libra (8:34 pm ET). Coming as it does on the heels of the opposition to Uranus, a freeing release brings a breath of fresh air to this lunar month, which culminates in the Full Moon Eclipse on October 18. We have the month to build on what awakens within us. Giant maple keys could come spiralling from the sky to cut off the heads of the Evil Ones and delight the children. Pussycats will climb willow trees to eat the cicadas, but the cicadas’ wits will be sharpened by this and they will never be caught, their wings will sing forever until they evolve beyond us into the supercreatures of the new millennium (meantime, we put them on our flag). Watch for powerful events, as Mercury opens us to what heals us—a courageous step into the unknown. Saturn finalizes its direct interaction with Uranus for now with its third of three quincunxes. A situation where we have felt stuck with a difficult responsibility has to be cleared in order to proceed. This month is the time to do it. In the chart cast for the US set in Washington DC, the power struggle continues to undermine the nation’s solvency and viability via such pernicious policies as the sequester and the repeated obstruction of the people’s will. The battles continue in the states and home front in the form of individual suffering and outbursts of violence. The power to manage this lies with the Senate, as the House continues to throw legislative bombs to disrupt progress. Diplomacy seems to be working on the international front, but vigilance is required. The Sabian Symbol activated by both Sun and Moon at the New Moon is “Miners are emerging from a deep coal mine.” This dovetails with the process of the month as Mercury leads us through its retrograde in Scorpio, that of mining the depths of our consciousness for the treasure that lies hidden there. It is in the dark and fertile cave of consciousness that important truths are found, which lead us to both freedom and strength. If a rescue is in process, it will be successful.
Saturday October 5
The Moon continues in Libra, completing its tour of the Cardinal Cross energies with a square to Jupiter that augments our need to take action as we enter our day. Productivity is in the forecast, with a sextile to Mars, followed by a relaxing evening as the Moon goes void at 3:28 pm (6:28 pm ET). And hey since it is Saturn's day, over to the right of this post, you will find a link to Metaversal Saturn, where you will find all manner of items relating to "The Holder of the Secrets of Time"
