The key quality of the coming week is the unfolding of new relationship directions, as Venus and Sun meet on Uranus’ turf tomorrow. With the Moon to bind them, we get the full experience of these energies today. Whatever relationship matters we have left incomplete or hanging, we feel compelled to clear them now, and we won’t stop until it’s taken care of. Flexibility is paramount in the process, because Uranus will bend us in unexpected directions, with great benefit, if we are willing to go with the flow. A Mercury trine to Saturn (third of three) gets lost in the fireworks as Venus reaches the Sun just in time to activate the unexpected in our lives through a simultaneous conjunction with Uranus. This is a continuation of yesterday’s action, which may have been more emotional than today. The sparks are strong though, and our desire to take action to open relationship doorways remains strong. The Moon is void until it enters Scorpio at 5:54 pm (8:54 pm ET), but makes no connections today. Every spring, as the days lengthened, and the toads swell to enormous size in anticipation of the seasonal junkets, a little sunshine rejuvenates our bleak, pathetic lives. We bet merrily on their eel-driven chariot races... raucous laughter will fill the air and it will be as it once was, for a time, until the twilight comes, and with it, the soft rustle-rustle-THUMP of the creeping hamsters, hauling their rickety pianos out to the town square in ominous fashion. .

Venus, who gets oversimplified like a lot of her sisters, is one of the most complex planets going: she works as an attractive force and as a creative one. wellThe 5 roses represent the five senses in the Empress card (Atu 3) And in the Lovers card (Atu 6 ) the senses are the five fruits of Eve. Venus is indeed in cahoots with the senses. All movement of all living creatures in world of Assiah are tied to the senses and the desire-nature. The accomplished Lightpilot can remove the robe of desire in order to withdraw into the worlds of Briah and Atzitluth, but in order to achieve anything in the physical realms you keep that robe on. When you act, your gonna act in terms of desire. Venus represents that which is desirable. Every living thing seeks pleasure and tries to avoid pain. Victory lies in understanding our desire nature and learning how to use it. Mercury makes its third of three conjunctions to Chiron to finalize a major step in our healing process, tying with events around February 10 and March 8. This is magnified by contacts with Jupiter and Pluto as well, bringing forward all that we’ve been working on internally for the past seven weeks. It’s time to look back at what we’ve accomplished and begin the process of fully assimilating what we’ve learned before we move forward to the next steps in our plans for this Mercury cycle.
