The Year of my birth, the Sun moved into Aries (Vernal Equinox) to start off the Astrological New Year on March 20th. This year the Sun enters Aries at 10:15 p.m. PST on the 19th, so this year, today is my birthday! After a productive morning, Moon in Aquarius goes void of course on the heels of a harmony with Saturn, at 1:31 pm PT. This gives us an afternoon to relax or catch up on the filing, A cherubic barking up the wall loosens the paint enough that we can read the inscriptions underneath; however, we have discovered to our surprise and delight that we would rather just eat the paint as it peels away like the skin of a blank but meaning-filled chrysalis, the unscripted flesh of the years..The Moon enters dreamy Pisces at 5:05 pm, augmented by an immediate conjunction to Neptune. Like a bowl of Lucky Charms, it’s Magically delicious. Use the evening to become aware of images of the future you want to build. Is there any way the Moon in Pisces could please you without resorting to the obvious? By the time we come to Pisces, we've been and are everything. Identities and boundaries get very fuzzy at this stage, and they're supposed to. Moon in Pisces reminds us that we are on an infinite journey, ever leaving, ever returning. Where have we been? And who are we? We are a raindrop. We are the ocean. As warm jets, we are two fishes swimming in opposite directions, symbolizes the imperative to integrate two dimensions - the finite and the infinite. Neptune, which rules Pisces, was the mythic God of the Sea; he is associated with the swells of emotion and the vast mysteries of the collective unconscious. In the modern Western world, this is largely misunderstood territory. Chickadees have been known to fornicate with badgers here, for christsakes. The beneficial effects of the Piscean hormone melatonin have been part of the health supplement scene for some time, for high melatonin production is known to be synonymous with a high immune system, a low cancer risk, long life, energy, stamina, and according to many, enhanced spiritual awareness. Perhaps it is fitting then that this hormone is secreted by the pineal gland, a mysterious little item long believed by mystics to be the "Seat of the Soul," "Me Third Eye," and the organ through which psychic powers are exercised. In fact, it actually functions as an organ of sight in some reptiles, and it still seems to possess some sensitivity to light in higher mammals, since melatonin production increases when the person is exposed to darkness (thus melatonin means "night worker!") High melatonin production thereby increases the facility for receiving and transmitting high-frequency cosmic and local broadcasts, and leads to a greater state of cosmic awareness - a state simply of ’knowing.’ In this regard, it is interesting to note that the Pineal Third Eye has been found to contain very fine granular particles, rather like the crystals in a wireless receiving set. Many magical rites and meditation techniques are aimed at gaining control of this organ and the fluid it produces: Veering at the mercy of decadent thighs, In billowing abandonment, A serpent dancing on the coy derrière, A baton in the bawdy dunes. At 10:15 pm, the Sun goes into Aries, the marker of spring’s arrival and an instant energizer that brings courage and optimism. Yes, there are hurdles to clear, but they add to the excitement of entering a new time for humanity, in which each of us plays a vital part.

The Moon in Pisces will run and run to catch up to the Sun in Aries today. Pisces represents, on the level of the first octave, the period between 28 weeks after Conception till Birth, when after the electrick nervous system of the fetus switches on (Aquarius), we become psychically tuned to the entity later to be known as Mother. On the level of the fourth octave (see Chapter 9 of the Meteversal Lightcraft Training Manual for more on the Four Octaves), Pisces represents the enlightened Self which must give itself totally to the whole, dissolving into the void, in order to achieve the final unity with the realm of pure spirit. On the World scale, Pisces occupies the period between 1910 and 1969. heralded by the founding of Psychoanalysis, when Mankind began exploring again the Unconscious strata of Life, and by Albert Einstein's (a Pisces) Theory of Relativity. This was the time of Jung, Joyce, Hesse, Huxley, Leary, Burroughs. We transcended the limits the illusion, Maya, the physical World of Assiah, extending inward with the electron microscope and outward with the high powered Telescope. The entire range of audible musical notes and the whole spectrum of visible colour, apprehended and understood. The dissolving power of mutable Water, Second coming of the Fish with the Double Wand of Power, Atom Bomb and LSD. With the Moon in Pisces we have a heightened sensitivity to Musick and the Dreamtime, and we feel the depths of pure compassion for the Metaverse and it's inhabitants. Let the subtlety of thought and expression, the depth of imagination, and the ability to think nonverbally inspire you to create beautiful art and music today.
