February 16th and 17th in Briah
WEDNESNDAY FEBRUARY 16
The Moon roars into Leo before sunrise and sets the light-specific stage, which indeed all the world is. The angel of dread has wrestled with the Lightpilot and brought her to her knees, and then - the lifting up into the light;, until the Lion's Mouth is opened by gentle hands, until the secret of the Sphinx revealed, and then - the revelation of the Metaversal Harmony. Of course I'm talking 'bout the archetype of Leo - the King: long live the, kill the,...etc. The Lion-serpent sun sign, the power of Will, the quest for authenticity. Leo represents the period of development when as children we begin primary school, which is the first detachment from the family structure, where we learn to make relationships and satisfy the need to be loved in the world. Games provide a way to relate to others and they teach us to accept and make rules, the basis for being able to structure our lives (from 7 to 13 years old). On the World Scale, Leo is between 3,000 to 800 BC when both the Egyptian and Sumerian civilizations flourished, when religion became monotheistic, where one being represented or was, God on Earth. The Time of Pharaohs and Kings, Lion images proliferated in architecture and monuments, for the Lion is of course, King of Beasts. With the Moon in Leo today we may be seeking romance with a flare for the dramatic. The electric Sun itself, Leo calls on each of you to shine your light, your singular essence. That bold Leo Moon trines Jupiter at 9:43 a.m. expanding the drama, some will begin torso-miming the first act of a logistical play, startling and incestuous protective and cacoëpistic, so pretty and artistic, vernacular and déclassé little flyer. YOU HAVE LONG regretted stealing the giant ham rather than copulating delicately amongst the Mesozoic ferns at the Sovereign Botanical Gardens.
THURSDAY FEBRUARY 17
The Day of Jupiter in Waterweek.. Giant Jupiter’s entry into fiery Aries sparks fresh perspectives and ignites original ideas. The planet of wisdom in this pioneering and spontaneous sign favors originality and shoot-from-the-hip thinking. This is a time when lightning bolts of intuition provide glimpses of the future that will spur innovation. It’s an opportunity to step out of the limits of the past and come up with new solutions for the future. Aries is a sign of immediate action so philosophical Jupiter is not going to linger in a world of wooly concepts. An urgency to put insights into practice creates quick opportunities for breakthrough changes yet impulsiveness can also produce big mistakes. Jupiter is called “Guru” in Sanskrit, which means “teacher.” Its presence in independent Aries is more about self-learning than studying at the feet of a master. While this multiplies the ways in which we discover things, it can make it more difficult to maintain discipline in an educational setting. This can also result in a rejection of intellectualism that replaces dialogue with one-sided rhetoric. Opinions run hot and there’s impatience for action with Jupiter in Aries, potentially sparking political and social confrontation. Before sunrise the Sun conjuncts Neptune, smoothing those hard edges in a dreamy fog, like that time we rode a queer squadron of tiny black horses through the shopping mall, then we got into a series of nipping duels with some badgers down at the grain elevators, rthen we built a full-scale model of the first lunar rover out of wax and synthelene, The Leo Moon opposes Mercury at 2:36 p.m. and Mars at 7:31 p.m. and this is likely to snap us to attention, first with facts then with tasks that require that attention. At 11:09 the almost Full Moon’s opposition to Neptune calls us back to a delicious delirium, like that time we established a rococo nerve lattice among the quarantined survivors of Operation: Rapture, then we stamped down a huge and perfect Mandelbrot Set with our wellies in a popular wheatfield, then we fed raspberries to carp,
