Full Moon Friday, Saturday, Sunday

FRIDAY OCTOBER 22
Invoke blessed Haniel, just before dawn or 2 hours after sunset and behold, a court of photosynthetic Angels who make this place inside your chest cavity a Paradise, performing tantric intercourse in magick towers and lush subterranean caves, opening your Lionheart chakra, a breeze like yellow silk on your naked skin. She really gets my donkeys up onstage. I love the way she plays with my expectations. Like a little dragon-faced hen bursting with tinsel and frayed at the wrong end. The mornings energy is just plain weird when Mars squares Neptune at 8:35 a.m. No fighting over drugs, okay? The harder you push the more likely you are to wear yourself down. Just go with the flow. Guidance arrives with a Mercury sextile to Pluto at 12:35.. We’re talkin’ deeply insightful. The Major event today though is the Full Moon in Aries at 6:38 p.m. at 29 Aries 32 is the first of five Full Moons in a row that occurs in the last degree of an astrological sign. We are experiencing the end of one way of thinking about things as we come to the final end of a sign in the zodiac, and are beginning a different view point as we approach and enter a new sign. This is the sacred portal where the past and the future can be observed simultaneously. It is the betwixt and the between of the two worlds of what was, and to what it might or can be depending on the actions we continue, or change. Aries is proclaiming “I am” here and the essence of being is felt with energy, enthusiasm and action. With Taurus stating “I have” the need to possess and have possessions which defines who and what I am, as well as a being who thinks. This Full Moon is reminding us to encompass unconditional love in all our dealings, projects and relationships, and at the same time we need to let go when the time comes. In the past year the aspects have indicated that change needed to take place in our lives, and if this has not happen because of our old habits which are unfortunately hard to get rid of. This period of time demands us to take action, and no matter how painful or difficult, to let go of the old and make room for the new. We need to define or redefine who we are and what direction we need to take, as we can no longer follow others blindly on good faith. The Sabian symbol for the Moon in 30 degrees of Aries and for the Sun in 3o degrees of Libra is taken from “The Sabian Symbols in Astrology by Marc Edmund Jones” Aries 30 A duck pond and its brood This is a symbol of the eternal fitness of things, provided the individual take the fullest advantage of the cosmic ordering. Implicit in the symbolism is man’s ability to establish his world of experience according to his own needs, and to function effectively because he has the acumen to align himself with his own genius and to seek a personal satisfaction in a simple efficacy of being himself. The keyword is reliability. When positive, the degree is an accustomed competency or ease in dealing with immediate circumstances, and when negative, a tendency toward provincialism or an acceptance of life with an altogether uncritical complacency

SATURDAY OCTOBER 23
This morning the Sun enters Scorpio. It cannot be weaned prematurely or circumcised without sedation lest it become traumatized and even more crestfallen. Scorpio is the mid-fall sign (mid-spring in Sydney) that concentrates and intensifies emotions. It is the consummation phase of relationships that follows airy Libra with the fusion of fixed water that joins two together more deeply or squeezes the life out of their union. It can dream with sophistication. It can mimic car horns. It cannot live without wood. We measure resources and people as if there are not enough of either to go around, provoking jealousy or sharpening assessments of what and who we truly desire. Control can become a critical issue, yet when we trust others there can be a sublime merger of body, mind and soul that surpasses the limits of what one person can do alone. It cannot be dragged on carpet more than a few feet at a time.

SUNDAY OCTOBER 24
Before sunrise Saturn sesquisquares Neptune. This inelegant 135-degree angel (a 90-degree square plus 45-degree semisquare) brings together realistic Saturn and idealistic Neptune in a way that can challenge both of them.Rules soften and dreams encounter limits, leaving neither planet in full control. Yet this aspect is an opportunity to turn imagination into form and find relief from the rigid boundaries of duty. We will meet this alignment again on March 24 and August 24, 2011, providing plenty of time to make this magic happen. And then, ya know what? I’m tellin’ ya, rambunctious Mars blasts into Sagittarius firing arrows of joyous enthusiasm or self-righteous proselytization that can inspire adventure or incite debate. Arguing for a just cause is fine as long as our minds are not closed with blind faith and passion born of ignorance. Seeking truth is more educational than assuming that we already have all the answers and need only convince others of their correctness. Moving bodies with sports, outdoor activities and travel are desirable ways to release the exuberant energy of this active planet in a highly mobile mutable fire sign.
