Metaversal Forecasts: August 7 to August 14

MONDAY, AUGUST 7
The first of this month’s power lunations becomes exact at 11:11 am (2:11 pm ET), in the form of the Eclipse Full Moon in Aquarius. Harmonies with fortunate Jupiter, with Saturn, planet of manifestation, and with Uranus the liberator, help us channel its energy of closure and find freedom from an obsolete tie. Proximity to the South Node emphasizes the energy of release facilitated by Luna in her fullness.
At 16 Aquarius, the Sabian symbol says:
BUSINESS MANAGER AT HIS DESK STUDIES A COMPLEX PROJECT. The central control of operations needed in all organized enterprise. The head function. Surety in decision. Management. The Lord of this lunation is Uranus. As the rebel planet transits through Aries, it helps break us free of roles that undermine our confidence or authentic essence, and exercise leadership in our altruistic interests Even when we checked behind what we all thought to be the object which might most obviously conceal a clue— a curiously slashed landscape painting which hung at a disconcerting angle on the fruit-splattered wall— we found nothing but a pair of immaculate formal gloves nailed to the plaster.
Suggestions for this power day: Leave elective surgery and if possible any major change for another, less intense day. Find a way to act on your inner teenager’s impulse to help the world.I consecrate my actions with the intent to bless, and they become prayers of power now.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 8
Moon in Aquarius harmonizes with rulers Saturn and Uranus, lending clarity to the practical considerations of yesterday’s Eclipse. Connections with others, particularly with friends and colleagues, can be constructive. Yet still, in the light of yesterday’s lunation, it’s wise to avoid confrontation. Although we may share our perspective with anyone, our words have a greater influence than we expect. The Aquarius Moon reveals conflicts between respect for authority and the need for radical action. Unfortunately, the impact of our message might be very different from our intended outcome if our intentions are misunderstood. Thankfully, the Moon slides into compassionate Pisces at 5:55 pm EDT, reducing the emotional gulf between us and others.
It’s a propitious time to think about and research a changewe’re feeling inclined to make. It might be a shift in location, profession, routine or some other aspect of life. For additional insight, check the houses occupied by Aries and Aquarius in your natal and solar charts.
At 12:07 pm (3:07 ET), Moon goes VOC. We can enjoy reading, or share lunch with kindred souls. At 2:56 pm (5:56 ET), Mooone enters Pisces. Connect with plants, nature and music, meditate, and unclutter your space by getting rid of inessentials, and/or your mind through forgiveness.
Affirmation:
I bless and release belongings and people, and new good flows in my space, mind and world, now.
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 9
The Day of Mercury in the week of Active Air. Mercury's function in Yetzirah is to actively communicate. To think. To know. To reason. Mercury teaches (by demonstration), the animation of Eidolons, the magick indwelling of icons by Spirit. Avoid any doctrine or religious movement that advocates a shameful wickedness with the alphabet Today’s Moon is in subtle Pisces. There’s also a connection from creative Sun to transformative Pluto. These energies combine with today’s number 9, which call out for meaningful contribution. Under these influences, forgiveness, metaphysical practice, deep healing, and altruism are propitious. Moon connects with psychic Neptune and deep Pluto tonight, favoring compassion and distance healing.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 10
The Day of Jupiter in the kabbalistic World of Air. Projecting Light Specific Blue and facing West, vibrate this azure deluxe into your Second Chakra along with the mantrum: EE-BE-DA. Jupiter is all about allowing ambiguity, contradiction, and movement. It isn't about integration. It helps the ego become more flexible. By Jove, life isn't about staying calm and balanced, but rather about keeping complexity and drama and everything else alive and in dynamic flow. Jupiter is the largest of all the true planets, its mass greater than the rest of them combined. Astrologically, Jupiter is the planet of expansion, growth and optimism. Known as "The Greater Benefic," it symbolizes good luck and fortune. In the ancient Indian language Sanskrit Jupiter is called "guru" or teacher. This fits its association with the higher mind, philosophy, truth and religion. Perhaps Jupiter's good fortune derives from the larger perspective it provides on life in general and our own circumstances.Leo symbolizes individual expression and creativity. Jupiter's presence in this bold sign emphasizes the power of one person to make a statement that will be heard by the worldThis morning, study your dreams for healing messages and pause to listen for the inner guidance that’s directing your actions. At 6:38 am (9:38 ET), Moon goes VOC on a square to stern Saturn. In Pisces, it still performs, though it (we!) can be quite sensitive. Avoid dishing out or accepting guilt trips, and enjoy the sextile from Sun to fortunate Jupiter by activating alliances for a creative, promotional or altruistic endeavor. Evening is good for healing until 10:22 pm (1:22 am ET), when Moon enters restless Aries.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 11
The Day of Venus in Airweek. If you actively invoke blessed HANIEL, the Archangel of Venus into your heart today, you may find you have developed the ability to feel like Khrisna, multiplying himself into a dozen pastoral, naked farmhands with muddy feet and emerald pond scum on their thighs, or maybe you are a young Freya on the back of a panther, eating honey. Venus, who gets oversimplified like a lot of her sisters, is one of the most complex planets going: she works as an attractive force and as a creative one. wellThe 5 roses represent the five senses in the Empress card (Atu 3) And in the Lovers card (Atu 6 ) the senses are the five fruits of Eve. Venus is indeed in cahoots with the senses. All movement of all living creatures in world of Assiah are tied to the senses and the desire-nature. The accomplished Lightpilot can remove the robe of desire in order to withdraw into the worlds of Briah and Atzitluth, but in order to achieve anything in the physical realms you keep that robe on. When you act, your gonna act in terms of desire. Venus represents that which is desirable. Every living thing seeks pleasure and tries to avoid pain. Victory lies in understanding our desire nature and learning how to use it. Today’s number 11 opens a portal for humanity to raise its frequency through love. This influence is accentuated by today’s special connection: loving Venus in tender, maternal Cancer, trines compassionate Neptune in Pisces, the sign of its rule.
The following suggestions can be integrated and/or adaptedto your preferred meditation or practice:
1. With your attention on the energy heart—located at the level of the physical heart but in the center of the chest—radiate pink light and intentions of lovingkindness.
2. During 2 to 5 minutes, surround and embrace yourself with this radiation.
3. Spend another 2 to 5 minutes shining it out to others: those you love, those whom you wish to bless, those with whom you have been angry.
4. Expand this radiant projection to enfold the planet and its inhabitants.
5. After applying the previous steps for a total of 8 minutes (or more), call on Archangel Chamuel, Goddesses Venus and Aphrodite, or your favorite compatible essences, and ask that they use the energy of your heart to lift the planet’s love vibration.
6.Repeat today’s affirmation several times (shared below). As for mundane activities, Moon in Aries makes us restless, and its contacts aren’t so great for interactions. However, independent, creative endeavors will benefit from the combination with the trine described above, as will romance, family connections and altruistic initiatives, as long as we can stay in our hearts and avoid unnecessary arguments.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 12
The Day of Saturn in the kabbalistic World of Air. Wearing Black and facing North, invoke the spirit of Johnny Cash into your Base Chakra (The Malkuth "Lil' World" Morphogenetic Field Transceiver) with the mantrum. "Because your mine, I walk the line". With it being Airweek, honor Saturn today by creating greater stability in the Metaverse, actively expressing or experiencing your security needs, and cleansing and strengthening your base Chakra. Our consciousness in this chakra is concerned with survival, with our fight or flight response, with our instincts. It links the individual with the physical world. Serves as the foundation to evolve and build personality. If we are to ignore this chakra, and concern ourselves with the higher levels, we will be growing without roots, we will be unstable, unable to withstand the trials that will come our way. If our survival needs are met, the Base Chakra will function healthily, but if there is a perceived threat to this, (such as a difficult house move, job change, health problems, etc.) it can create an imbalance. Other Saturnian imbalances can show themselves in various ways, from sleeplessness and the inability to relax, to obsession with money, possessions or healthWe are still in the portal of the great Venus-Neptune trine. If so inclined, you may repeat yesterday’s meditation. This morning, Moon in assertive Aries contacts Mars the warrior, mob-boss Pluto and confident Jupiter. We are apt to feel like Wonder Woman or Superman. But things can get a bit rocky. Try to keep your cape in the closet until after 10:27 am (1:37 pm ET), when Moon makes a nice trine to Sun in confident Leo, followed by another trine, this time to diligent Saturn. We can make headway on long-term projects or intentions, in particular those that will help us become more autonomous (check Saturn’s position in your natal chart at 21 Sagittarius for additional insight). With Mercury stationing to retrograde, it’s best to focus on something we began or seeded previous to July 25, when the messenger planet entered pre-retrograde shadow.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 13
At 3:40 am (6:40 ET), Moon moves out of her VOC mode and enters Taurus, where she’s exalted. Enjoy the sunrise and a sensual brunch, as the influences soon make this a less-than-restful Sunday. A trine from Sun in Leo to Saturn in visionary Sagittariushelps us hitch our will to our long-range plans, moving through doubts, perfectionism and other barriers to consolidate our long-term intentions.
The constructive vibration of today’s number 4 strengthens our focus, while a trine from Moon in prosperous Taurus to Mercury in organized Virgo, the sign of its rule, helps us move through paperwork and get concrete with our people connections.

MONDAY, AUGUST 14
This morning is good for attending to connections to self and others, generating thoughts and acts of kindness, and moving to tie up something related to finances–thanks to Moon in prosperous Taurus with harmonies to ruler Venus and empowering moneybags Pluto.
We should make these moves early, because at 12:29 pm (3:29 ET), Moon makes a tense contact to Jupiter followed by another to Saturn. We can direct the stress and anxiety generated by these transits to the planets of success and work towards finishing something before Moon reaches her Fourth Quarter at 6:15 pm (9:15 ET). At 23 Taurus, this lunation’s Sabian symbol describes:
A JEWELRY SHOP FILLED WITH THE MOST MAGNIFICENT JEWELS. Abundance of spiritual values; or, social display of traditional racial achievements. Profusion of inner gifts.

The Metaversal August Astral Terrain Report

As the month begins, our hearts are in the right place. But are we acting on its directives? With two Eclipses featuring Mars the mover, we’ll have a four-week chance to do more about this answer than we think.
Along with the Eclipses, influences prominent in August’s astrological line-up include:
 Venus, the so-called minor benefic, has entered empathetic Cancer, helping us value the terrain of our souls: mothers, homes, nation and women.
 Jupiter, planet of fortune, is still in Libra, shining beneficently on relationships and art, and restoring our connection with the sacred feminine.
 Rebel Uranus, who’s been fueling every possible argument during his transit through pugnacious Aries, turns retrograde on August 3, putting away his weapons and facilitating a more pensive, less reactionary approach to unleashing our true identity.
Against this apparently easy backdrop, begins August’s ride of Paul Revere, calling us into action.
The metaphor actually has an astrological underpinning. It was the night of April 18-19, in 1775, when the well-known silversmith from Boston began his trek, alerting other riders who together warned the colonists of the impending British attack.
This and other similar events around and during the American Revolution happen to coincide with Pluto’s last transit through Capricorn. On that April night, Pluto, planet of power, connected with Mars in Leo, trined both Uranus and Jupiter, and squared the Sun in warrior-sign Aries.

What would today’s astrologers have predicted for this alignment? It’s true, Mars and Pluto are the little and big toughies of the Solar System, and in order for our inner rider can take up the reins, we complacent humans sometimes need a little pushing.
As it grinds on through Capricorn, the sign of oligarchies, the power-planet dredges up the dark underworld and brings it to light. Ruling norms are upturned, and Pluto’s ultimate mission of empowerment leads us to discover our own authority. The process is not easy, and to paraphrase one astrologer, it has historically led to a high body count. But just like all Pluto transits, it’s part of our evolution.
On Friday, August 4, dragon Pluto will stir in his lair when brazen Jupiter in Libra rubs up against him in a square, bringing to light challenges of justice, balance, women’s issues and perhaps most importantly, the need to face our easy-breezy evasiveness and buckle down to create new beliefs that are suited to our process of empowerment.
We also have two lunar power portals this month, both connected to active Mars. Traditionally, Eclipses starring the red planet are associated with violence, disruption and military mobilization. So before exploring the influences and tips for these Eclipses, let’s take a moment to consider the archetypal charge carried in such events.
What is prediction for? Is it a pastime to make us coo or cower before upcoming events? Or could it be a chance to identify cosmic patterns, use the opportunities, work constructively with the challenges and evolve in resonance with our stellar moment? And assuming so, do alarmist auguries empower this interaction?
In striking contrasts of light and shadow, Eclipses periodically mark the sky and join us in an awe that has been used, throughout history, for political purposes. For example,
 In his book The Understanding of Eclipses, Guy Ottewell describes how Christopher Columbus used his knowledge of an upcoming Eclipse to pass himself off as a messenger of the gods and awe native islanders into submission.
 When challenged by the governor of Indiana to show proof of his divine mission, Shawnee Prophet Tenkskwatawaclaimed he would darken the noonday Sun, choosing an Eclipse date for his “demonstration”.
 In Mexico where I live, I’ve had the opportunity to observe diverse Mayan calendars, including some commissioned by kings whose names were etched in the middle so that people would associate the monarch with the sky and its portents.
At its roots, astrology wasn’t so severe. In her well-documented article on the history of the art in the west, author Demetra George notes that its earliest evidence comes from Mesopotamia, where celestial predictions were “not a fixed future, but a possible future… astrology was neither deterministic nor fatalistic.” The art reveals archetypal patterns, and it becomes magical when we understand both fortuitous and challenging transits as opportunities to grow, to heal, to fulfill our birth chart’s potential, to participate in the stellar dance of our time. That said, the first of August’s dynamic Eclipses comes on August 7, at the Full Moon in Aquarius, sign of ideals. Activating the South Node, its focus is on release of old patterns and on giving something back to life. It offers a chance to adjust karma and release habits as we move beyond our genetic programming and personal comfort zone. (See our August Full Moon Ritual to Free Your Ancestors and Make a Light Contribution.) Jupiter and Saturn harmonize with the Moon and Sun, a highly propitious aspect that facilitates lasting results. Mars is conjunct the Sun and opposite the Moon, indicating that the rituals we do at this Full Moon are not merely meditative, but call for action.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 5
Moon in Capricorn accents the serious side of Saturday, ruled by Saturn. In the shadow of yesterday’s square from Jupiter to Pluto (see yesterday’s entry), we can bring this square’s power into our emotions.
The numerology of today’s 5 gives a touch of dynamism. With diplomacy and a gentle touch, we can use the last part of the waxing Moon to take an active step towards the ideals that unfurl as we release ourselves from limiting beliefs. Move discretely, don’t give unnecessary explanations; keep your action beneath the radar of others’ scrutiny.
The energy shifts this afternoon, when a contact from Sun in artistic Leo to Neptune in surrealistic Pisces opens a window of guidance from the light realms, and imagination flowers. At this time, we’re favored to work on something creative, make a dream board, or invoke the angels for positive, collective co-creation at the upcoming Eclipses.
, here and now.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 6
The Metaversal Lightpilot, which the ancient Egyptians referred to as the KA, is actually the fourth dimensional driver of the third dimensional Lightcraft, the BA. There is a sixth dimensional solar mind which interacts with all levels and is purely an electromagnetick harmonic, a harmony based on all the other levels coming together around a center. And the sun is the center eternally now and therefore timeless. The Sun never sets on itself. The evolution ond avoid risky or dubious situations of any kindAt 5:15 am (8:15 ET), Moon moves out of its VOC in Capricorn and enters Aquarius, forging a bridge with tomorrow’s Eclipse Portal. Today is also an ancient festival of Tan, a Celtic fire-being whose feast is connected to Llamas, the ritual blessing of the first loaves. We can join these energies by sharing blessings of thanksgiving for the earth and our ancestors, or coordinating an event for tomorrow’s Eclipse Full Moon. Instability plagues the early morning hours as the traditional Capricorn Moon squares erratic Uranus. However, the Moon’s shift into futuristic Aquarius at 8:15 am EDT foretells the significant changes that are on the horizon. Although we are eager to let go of those things which hold us back, it’s impossible to know what’s around the corner. We must take a wait-and-see approach until tomorrow’s Full Moon Eclipse reveals clues as to what is next. It’s a great day to organize or join in any group effort for a cause. If you’ve already been doing the groundwork, a breakthrough may come, but continued diligence is called for. The Mayan End Times, the Hopi Fifth World, the Turning of the Ages, Timewave Zero, the Ascension, and the Great Awakening. These prophecies signal that humanity is in the process of making a dimensional shift, from the limited perception of duality to a collective awareness of our inherent divinity and interconnectedness. Lightcraft seems paradoxical in that the main body of its information was given to our present selves by our future Self in order to load the dice in favor of its own manifestation. One of the reasons this happened is that we are on our own for the present. The benign influences of the older races have been suspended for this coming-of-age Initiation ordeal that we are experiencing. We are allowed to talk to ourself, however. Time’s arrow only applies to the physical Metaverse. Once an event has happened in this sphere, it’s frozen into the Order of Mainstream Reality and cannot “unhappen”. Information can be exchanged on levels other than the physical, and isn’t limited by Time’s arrow. Our future conscious Self is aware of its tentative nature from our present. By giving its ancestors certain ideas and techniques, the Metaverse insures its own manifestation(s). This is possible only because the Metaversal mutation can be activated in any individual by that individual. The hardware and the program are in place for Metaversal consciousness to appear.

As the rebel planet transits through Aries, it helps break us free of roles that undermine our confidence or authentic essence, and exercise leadership in our altruistic interests. Suggestions for this power day: Leave elective surgery and if possible any major change for another, less intense day. Find a way to act on your inner teenager’s impulse to help the world.

The Great American Eclipse: August 7th and 21st of 2017

On August 21, 2017, the United States will experience a rare celestial event—a Solar Eclipse whose path of totality cuts a swath straight across the country from sea to shining sea. Entering the US in Oregon, the eclipse sweeps over the Rockies, the plains, through the heartland, and exits via the Deep South off the coast of South Carolina. It is perhaps ironic that the path begins in Oregon, one of the most liberal states, and ends in South Carolina, one of the most conservative. Most of the continental US will see at least a partial eclipse, in a phenomenon which hasn’t occurred here in 99 years. Precise at 2:30 PM EDT, the eclipse degree of 28 Leo 52 makes several stunning alignments, including a close conjunction with Donald Trump’s natal Mars/Ascendant pairing at 26 and 29 Leo, as well as his asteroid America at 27 Leo. For the US itself, the eclipse lies opposed its natal Moon, representing the people, at 27 Aquarius. We’ll look at the details of these contacts more closely, but first, the eclipse itself. Two major bodies accompany the eclipse, but broadly. Mars at 20 Leo trails behind, and Mercury at 8 Virgo runs ahead. Mercury is retrograde, indicating a need to go back into old material and clean or clear whatever is left undone or unsaid; in Virgo, the accent is on precision and detail – leave no stone unturned in the quest to tie up loose ends. This can seem a herculean task, but Mars is there to lend a hand. Mars with the eclipse increases the intensity and the drama, but also provides energy and drive to accomplish what must be done. Be mindful of a tendency to lash out at others, keep it civil but be forceful and direct. Additional minor factors complicate matters. Exact with Mercury are asteroid Eurydike and TNO Orcus. Eurydike denotes a nostalgic energy, a desire to revisit the past and perhaps recreate situations which have long gone beyond recall. Orcus requires integrity, authenticity and genuineness to thrive; it is one’s word, given as an oath, to which one is bound, the breaking of which creates turmoil. Together, these points can work as a team, with Eurydike bringing up the past, Orcus cutting through the haze of nostalgia and sentimentality to what was truly worthwhile and valid from that time, and Mercury expressing this in updated terms and concepts which resonate to today’s needs. Closer to the eclipse degree are asteroids Circe and Persephone, both at 24 Leo, and Atropos, at 22 Leo. Circe is what beguiles or bewitches us, the things we explore which fundamentally alter us, without us even realizing we have changed. Persephone is another call to reclaim the past, particularly to right a wrong, as well as the circumstance which pulls us out of the equilibrium of innocence and requires us to face reality with maturity and respond with growth, becoming fully engaged and powerful in our own truth. Atropos signals an ending or finality, a terminus to pertaining conditions and a pause while we await rebirth or reconstitution of circumstances.
It is when we look to aspects to the eclipse that we move from the realm of the philosophical or theoretical, to pragmatic concerns on the ground in the world as we know it. Whitehouse and Damocles are in an extended conjunction for most of the year; what doom may yet befall?
Opposing the eclipse is a pairing of asteroids Whitehouse and Damocles, at 21 and 23 Aquarius. This conjunction has been an ongoing pattern since April, and will continue into December, which represents a doom hanging overhead for the administration, and the occupant of the Oval Office specifically. However, its inclusion in the eclipse footprint ramps up the pressure to peak. Think of that old Memorex ad with the man sitting in the chair, literally blown away by the music. Damocles is a karmic point, and cannot be reasoned with or appeased; its blow may fall in its own good time, but it will fall regardless. As if to underscore its point, the eclipse also squares asteroid Washingtonia at 25 Scorpio, representing the DC power base and culture, which is conjoined by asteroids Arachne and Ophelia, both at 23 Scorpio. Arachne shows the consequences of deception, as we become tangled in the webs we weave around ourselves; created to entrap others, we find ourselves enmeshed in the gossamer, with no hope of escape. Ophelia connects to feelings of being overwhelmed or “drowned” by circumstances, which can lead to mental imbalance. This may be based in a perceived rejection, such as eroding approval in polling, which brings us directly to Donald Trump. This grouping is remarkably descriptive of the atmosphere at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, but the points to which it is opposed, also in square to the eclipse, are perhaps even more telling. These are centaur Bienor and TNO Sedna, both at 26 Taurus. Not much is known of Bienor, his mythic backstory is very thin. However, we do know one thing – the meaning of his name, which is, literally, “Strong Man.” That this is how the administration wishes to portray Trump is apparent from Bienor’s exact conjunction with the Ascendant in the inauguration chart, so its inclusion in the eclipse pattern is another indicator of pressure on the Commander-in-Chief. The exact conjunction with Sedna, named for an Inuit goddess who dwells in the deepest, most inaccessible part of the Arctic Ocean, and refuses to accept adult responsibility, indicates that the would-be “strongman” is isolated, unwilling to be held accountable, and inadequate to his task.
The repetitive nature of so many points in exact conjunction with each other sets a sub tone of emphatic statement by the cosmos. The celestial timing to create such precise alignments, at such a powerful moment, suggests an important message to be conveyed. One more such pairing exists in the chart, although it does not aspect the eclipse degree itself. This is a union of asteroids Karma and Icarus at 3 Libra. This shows a comeuppance, the results of our prior actions (Karma), particularly those which have been rash, reckless, heedless of the consequences, and taken against countervailing advice (Icarus). If that doesn’t sound like an indictment of Donald Trump, I don’t know what would.

Saturn paired with Askalaphus and Achilles – revealed secrets of the Chief Executive which leave him vulnerable.
Also of note are two groupings which might impact the US and its leader. There is a string of points splayed out in Sagittarius, comprised of asteroid Askalaphus at 15, Saturn at 21, and asteroid Achilles at 27 Sagittarius, on the Galactic Center. This concerns the chief executive and the office of the presidency itself (both Saturn), with secrets revealed (Askalaphus) which expose a weakness or vulnerability (Achilles), one that is made manifest for the entire globe to see (GC). The other is a closer conjunction of asteroid America at 22 Aries with TNO Eris at 23 and Uranus at 28. This symbolizes the country itself (America), which is discontent, fractious and strife-ridden (all Eris), and ripe for revolution and change (Uranus). Both these groupings are in rough trine to the eclipse degree (the Aries cluster is much closer, with the Uranus trine exact), forming a Grand Trine pattern.

Asteroid America with TNO Eris – a fractious, divisive country, ready to erupt.
This becomes a Kite with the opposition from the Sagittarian points to a conglomeration of minor bodies in Gemini, which congregate on Donald Trump’s natal Sun at 22 Gemini. This “string” of the Kite directs the latent energy of the Grand Trine giving it focus and power, transforming potential into action. The points which collude on Trump’s Gemini Sun are asteroids Hybris, Phaeton and Kassandra at 22, 24 and 25 Gemini, and TNO Chaos at 23. Hybris, the root of our word “hubris”, signifies prideful arrogance, a willingness to tempt fate and call down the judgment of heaven; Phaeton represents a spectacular implosion and fall from grace, or from a position of authority and responsibility for which one is wholly unprepared; Kassandra raises issues of credibility and trustworthiness; and Chaos is just that—turmoil, confusion and anarchy. All these act to reinforce the eclipse’s impact on Donald Trump, in ways unlikely to serve him, or the nation. Having set the stage, let’s proceed to how the eclipse degree itself factors into Trump’s natal chart.
Born 14 June 1946 at 10:54 AM EDT in Jamaica NY (Rodden rating AA), Donald Trump’s natal Ascendant at 29 Leo 57 is just a degree shy of the eclipse at 28 Leo 52; his Mars at 26 Leo and America at 27 Leo are also bound up in this. Up to this point, against all odds, this natal combination has served Trump well—his bluster and bravado, both Mars traits, helped him squelch 17 mainstream Republican candidates for the GOP nomination, and Mars with America allowed him to tap into the country’s anger and appear as its champion—“Make America great again!”
But the eclipse may cause the worm to turn. Eclipses tend to reset existing circumstances and turn things on their head. An eclipse on the Ascendant can radically alter the way others see us. Where once Trump was viewed as their champion, ordinary Americans may now experience him as just a blowhard bully (in fairness, many—most—already do), and may transfer their anger and righteous indignation to Trump personally. Mars/America on Trump’s Ascendant could become a nation embittered and furious, irritated and annoyed by his lack of accomplishment and now viewing his aggressive character traits as something which is distracting and yielding little or no result.
Encouraging this flip of perspective is the eclipse’s simultaneous opposition to the USA’s natal Moon at 27 Aquarius, its people, who may now find themselves in literal opposition to the man in the Oval Office. Where once they were his ally and partner (US Moon conjunct Trump’s natal Descendant), they can now be his adversary (Seventh House as the house of open enemies). The marriage of populist Trump and the voters he deluded may be heading for divorce.

A particularly choleric-looking Donald Trump; will the eclipse on his Mars bring up stress-related health issues?
There are other concerns with an eclipse on Mars as well, particularly health matters, such as stroke or heart attack. Trump’s fury with the ongoing Russian investigation and the people he sees as “disloyal” who have brought him to this place can’t be doing his health any good. The type of obsessive interest and chronic resentment he displays is very wearing on the circulatory system, Mars-ruled. Trump is not a young man, and the pressures of the office, allied to his extremely personal reactions to the political quagmire he finds himself in, could prove fatal. Mars’ connections to violence raise the specter of assassination as well. In the year of his death, John F. Kennedy experienced two Lunar Eclipses in aspect to natal Mars, one in January 1963 in exact sextile, and another in July in trine. William McKinley, assassinated in September 1901, received a Lunar Eclipse conjoined natal Mars in May of that year.
And the problems don’t stop there. The eclipse is strategically placed to bring out the Russian Grand Cross in Trump’s natal chart. The most precise of these aspects is an exact sesquiquadrate to natal asteroid Mueller at 13 Aries, highlighting the work of the Special Counsel who may ultimately call Trump to account, for a host of indiscretions including financial dealings and obstruction of justice.
Other points activated in the Grand Cross include asteroid Nemesis at 16 Cancer, representing self-undoing and divine retribution; Chiron at 14 Libra, indicating a wounding; and asteroid Lavrov at 14 Capricorn, the name of the Russian Foreign Minister, bringing the story home directly to the Kremlin. Given the current political climate and legal circumstances, it’s difficult to image a more inimical line-up of eclipse-activated points than this, and one suspects the fallout will be extreme. Whatever the result, the American Eclipse is certain to produce manifestations which are pivotal to our development as a nation, and crucial to our history. It’s a vital moment which we can watch play out in real time. What will this astrological field test reveal? Only time will tell.

Metaversal Astral Terrain Report: August 1 through August 4

The Great American Total Eclipse of the Sun is upon us.

...and the Sun has perished out of heaven, and an evil mist hovers over all.” (from The Odyssey by Homer).

The cosmos is rife with intense energy as we careen out of control, down the rabbit hole into a black hole. A blackened Sun on August 21 exposes the truth as the entire sky is revealed midday in its nighttime glory. The Aquarius Full Moon Eclipse on August 7 and the Leo Solar Eclipse are turning points for the entire year. Mercury turns retrograde on August 12 as we are forced to replay recent twists of fate, reassess our current position, and recalculate our future trajectory. Eclipse discussion starts at the 1:02 mark and includes teachings on four Persian “watchers” because the royal star Regulus is conjunct the Solar Eclipse. We also look at Donald Trump’s chart because this eclipse is conjunct his Mars and Ascendant. This month will be one for the history books! As we are in such discordant times, Mars’s movements should point out when the peasants are apt to revolt or when the globalist/STS* Elites act in a particularly revolting manner. We start the month with the Sun in Leo decan 2. This is not a shy Lion! The flamboyant side of Leo comes out blazing here. At this time we love a mission, and need to channel our egos into some great project. Leaving a big golden paw mark on planet earth is important to at this time. If that is not possible though, resentment can brew into something quite ugly. Disrespect certain groups at your peril, for that is when tyrants can erupt. On the other hand, bosses who are appreciated for their good work will really blossom. Leo decan 2 genuinely does have a big heart and is very generous with its patronage. The protective-parent influence is fierce, so leaders have to be careful that they don’t imprison their cubs out of fear, therefore stunting their development. Aug 1 to 4 Mars continues through Leo decan 1. A highly courageous position with no fear. Fights and conflict happen very easily. The size and power of the adversary does not serve as a deterrent, in fact it just makes people puff themselves up even more. Aug 5 to 12 Mars enters Leo decan 2. Mars in Leo 2 is about as defensive as you can get. This is patriotism that boils over into true xenophobia. Defending your tribe and homestead is indeed necessary if invaders are a threat to your culture, but at this time both STS elites and common folk take it too far. The problem comes when Mars Leo 2 goes on the attack and thinks that their morals and way of life need to be imposed on less civilized ‘others.’ Aug 7 The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at 15º Aquarius. This lunar eclipse brings up themes of being brave, but in hidden or alternative realms. The internet allows people to speak out anonymously, so it gives courage that one may not have in the real world. Feelings are able to be expressed straight away published through this new technology. During this Lunar Eclipse expressing ourselves online becomes a sort of therapy.
Aug 15 Half way through the month Jupiter is really busy at 19º Libra. If you have anything around that degree then you shall be just as busy! Jupiter is the apex of a dark-cupid T-square and mediating between the very feminine, soft and naive Ceres/Venus conjunction opposite by a vampish Lilith/Pluto conjunction. The polarity is very stark, mother opposing the harlot, or the family man opposing the ‘bad-boy’. Jupiter is also the peak of a minor grand trine, sensible justice from Sun trine Saturn. This is a nice harmonizing and balancing energy. This referee will be much needed due to the Mars being in such feisty and passionate decans this month. (I just noticed the Sun happens to be on a fixed star that a friend bought me as a birthday present! Nice :))
Sun in Leo decan 3, means the theme of these 10 days is power and authority. Regulus officially entered Virgo in 2011 (I talk about this move in more detail in my Regulus post.) However this most important star was still in Leo decan 3 when most of us were born so we cannot ignore Regulus’s effects for this decan. Of course then these felines were born to rule, so leaders and sovereignty make the headlines. Physical prowess and animal magnetism are important at this time. Sun Leo 3’s sex appeal is legendary, but can also become an obsession. Sex addiction is a danger at this time if we have no other outlet for our fertile creative expression. (Both Bill Clinton and Madonna have this placement) The Sun is at its most theatrical in Leo and desperately needs to create or pro-create. ‘Drama queen’ and ‘diva’ are cliché keywords to describe the Leo archetype, but it is never more true than in this decan. Sun in Leo 3 helps us work well under pressure and our heroic side rises superbly to the occasion if we are suddenly thrown into a crisis.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 1

This month of power begins with the Mars vibration of Tuesday. At 5:03 am (8:03 ET), Moon enters enthusiastic Sagittarius, where it will help us put this active, Mars vibration of Tuesday to good use. Dreams loom larger than ever, and we may try harder to reach them now. The Moon’s entry into idealistic Sagittarius at 8:01 am EDT brings a healthy dose of positive thinking, but too much confidence means trouble if we lose touch with reality. Meanwhile, active Mars creates a magical connection with nebulous Neptune, enticing us with our own fantasies. Although we might get glimpses of the future, illusions can cloud the truth and lead
us astray. It’s a fine time to take new initiativeson something started before July 25, when Mercury entered pre-retrograde shadow.
Tense lunar aspects to Mercury the speaker and to Venus the relater remind us to think things through before approaching others. The time is ripe for applying tact and demonstrating good will in resolving a misunderstanding, or simply showing that we care—despite any previous appearance or interpretation to the contrary.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 2

Moon in Sagittarius, sign of gurus, aspects both Neptune and Jupiter, planets of angels, making this a great day to contact an extracorporeal guide or other light beings. Morning is particularly apt for devotional or psychic activities, while afternoon favors media, public speaking, and promotional activities, or making a donation of your knowledge or supply.
Uranus stations to retrograde today. Now is the perfect time to journal or make a list of the lessons relating to individuality that our interactions with the world have generated so far this year.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 3
Mercury is in pre-retrograde shadow and Moon conjuncts constructive Saturn. This combination helps us review our plans to rebuild the area of our lives touched by Saturn, the planet of work, as it retrogrades in 21 degrees of visionary Sagittarius. We can sober up to the efforts and commitment required for that dream to materialize. Do this early, so you can use the mid-afternoon (PT) trine from Moon to Uranus. We are supported in releasing a limiting belief and expressing our true selves in teaching, production, promotion or another form of outreach. Move audaciously until 5:37 pm (8:37 ET), when Moon moves into circumspect Capricorn, where it helps us close the day with consolidated results.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 4

The Day of Venus in Fireweek. In the Western Mystery Tradition, the most pervasive polyamorous archetype is Aphrodite, Greek goddess of Love and Beauty. She is Venus, Ishtar, Astarte, Inanna and relates to the sephera Netzach on the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. While she had more lovers than any other Greek goddess she was not victimized and never suffered from her numerous love affairs as did many of the other goddesses. Neither was she jealous or possessive. Unlike her counter parts she was allowed freely to choose both her husband and many lovers. She inspired poetry, communication and art as well as love. Her liaison with Hermes produced the bisexual Hermaphroditus. and her long time union with Mars (God of War) produced a daughter, Harmonia. Thus Love and War combined to give rise to Harmony.Today’s theme is: focus on recovering mastery of self and with it, of circumstances.
Jupiter has been in Libra all year, and in Libra, Jupiter can get lost in the party. Now, the planet of jocosity squares Pluto, which is spotlighting our authority issues as it dredges through Capricorn. If you want a date in court or for another kind of advocacy, schedule it for another day, preferably after the Total Solar Eclipse of August 21. But, coming on the doorstep of next Monday’s lunar eclipse, this square can help us release beliefs could block our positive transformation, and look at how our process of empowerment could benefit the collective. It’s a fine time to journal, visit a therapist or coach, use positive affirmations and negations, and break through any inherited beliefs in scarcity by describing in writing what abundance means and looks like to you personally, in contrast to learned programs. Moon, also in Capricorn, the sign of climbing, brings out the constructive potential of number 4. Afternoon isn’t too great for people connections, but we can make progress with independent work. We would do well to avoid any
impulse to push our beliefs on others.
